story in the most beautiful way, and has therefore long been my favorite of the four gospels. In order,

associate of Paul, so it has been compared to the many works of Paul, and the book of Luke is held

Following Grendal s death, Wealtheow gives a celebratory speech to Hrothgar and then Beowulf. She
makes sure that Beowulf does not become the heir, and tries to make Hrothulf inherit this position.
This goes to show that she is looking out for herself by not letting someone from outside the family
take over. Hrothgar does not have any further imput and does not dispute the suggestion, thus
suggesting she has some influence on the king. When she addresses Beowulf, she tells him to accept
the gift she gives to him. Through this gesture we can suggest that she is a great hostess. Also, in Old
English, noble women tended to give gifts which showed reciprocity. To finish off her speech, she

Liebeck was riding as a passenger in her grandson s car. After receiving her order, he pulled up and
stopped so Liebeck could put cream and sugar in her coffee. She placed the Styrofoam coffee between
her knees because there was no cup holder and tried to remove the lid. However, the coffee spilled
onto her and she received third degree burns on her buttocks, genital, groin, and inner thighs. She was
hospitalized for eight days and had skin grafts and debridement treatments. Liebeck was also disabled
for two years after the accident and permanently scarred. Her daughter took off of work to help take
Stella to and from the hospital. She also lost around twenty percent of her bodyweight following the

A good teacher is one that has a passion for teaching. A good teacher is one that is takes pleasure in
seeing their students comprehend their lessons. Being able to connect with your students is an
important part of being a teacher. If you can t connect with your students, you cannot teach them
properly. Another element to being a good teacher is making sure that no student feels left out. A good
teacher will utilize every student to make sure that everyone understands the objective and is learning
properly.
Strengths and Weaknesses: One of my strengths as a teacher is being able to get along well with the
students. In none of my classes did I have a class where I did not vibe well with one of the students. I
always try my best to get every student to participate. When I see a student struggling with the lesson I
utilize other students to explain to them what is going on. My weakness would most likely be my
pacing. On multiple occasions I failed to finish my entire lesson plan, and on some occasions, I
finished my lesson plan too fast. I would like to be able to better pace my lesson plans so that I don t
feel as rushed to finish, or anxious I will finish early.
Teaching Approaches: I find the direct method to be the best method in teaching English. In the Direct

Good problem solvers have different approaches and characteristic as compared to non problem
solvers (Whimbey, 1982). The characteristics that I possess are:
Accuracy and double checking: As a good problem solver, I am concerned with accuracy. I always
check and recheck, the problem if necessary. I always reread instructions and avoid guessing. In
contrast, a poor problem solver is sloppy and inaccurate. They may misunderstand the problem or the
process of solving it. Most of the time, they lack the slow, step by step approach. (Whimbey,1982.p.7).
Can do attitude: Simply expressed, as an effective problem solver, I see problems as opportunities, a
chance to learn something new, to grow, to succeed where others have failed, or to prove that it can be
done . Underlying this attitude is a deeply held conviction that, with adequate preparation, the right
answer will emerge. Good problem solvers believe that Opportunity is missed by most people because
it is dressed in overalls and looks like work(Thomas Edison). Poor problem solvers will give up at
