Analysis Of Frances Burney s The Perfect Definition Of...
Frances Burney was born in a time where women were treated differently from men and expected to
marry as soon as possible. Evelina, a book published in 1778, portrays a character with the same name
who experiences stages in her life before finally becoming a lady in personality and title. In Evelina,
Burney presents the treatment of different women within a male dominated society.
The ideal woman was often presented as a delicate object that depended on a man. In the novel, the
perfect definition of a lady by the standards of that time is none other than Lord Orville s younger
sister Lady Louisa. When Lady Louisa is seen at Mrs. Beaumont s home, Evelina notices that she is
wobbling rather walking into a room and that her voice [spoke] so softly she could hardly be heard .
This demonstrates her extreme femininity for being very weak and fragile to the point that she is
quickly fatigued to death (410). Moreover, another example was Mrs. Mirvan in the first volume who
was a kind and sweet tempered woman (132). Like a true lady of that time, she was highly dependent
on a man and so she was often charged to healing those wounds which her husband s inflicts (150).
Yet, Lady Louisa still remains as the main example of a real lady due to her behavior. She was easily
tired, enjoyed having the attention on her and associated herself solely with those who were of her
class. Sir Clement Willoughby also presents his own impression of her Ladyship: she is a mere
compound of

Osama Bin Laden
Osama bin Laden s hatred towards the United States drove him to do horrifying and unreasonable
things. This is one example of why I believe mankind in inherently evil.
The human world, it s a mess.. (Sebastian) This quote said by Sebastian the crab from the movie The
Little Mermaid. And the reason I chose to open up this essay with it is because it s true. The human
world is corrupted and full of sin, lust, pride, selfishness, hatred, jealousy, arrogance, rudeness, and so
many other evil things.
There are many people I can use as an example to support my argument. But Osama bin Laden stood
out to me the most. Not only did he kill thousands of people, he planned the whole entire thing out, to
every detail. He also didn t feel remorse for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

This small group he originally started had begun to expand. In 1998, Osama led attacks in Kenya and
Tanzania. These bombings are known today as the Embassy Bombings. This was what caught the
attention of the American population. After noticing Osama s group as a threat President Clinton
ordered retaliation missiles against Afghanistan. (Bodansky)
When you say Osama bin laden people immediately associate the name with the 9/11 attacks. This
man was responsible for it. On September 11, 2001 nineteen hijackers took over four flights. Their
targets were The World Trade Center in New York City and The Pentagon near Washington, D.C.
At around 8:45am the first plane hit the North Tower. Killing about 1,400 people. When people saw
this they immediately thought it was just a mistake. Then at 9:03am the second plane crashes into the
South Tower. As soon as this happened people began to understand that this was no accident. At
9:37am Flight 77 crashes into the Pentagon. It is safe to say that these attacks caused mass chaos.
Approximately 2,606 people were killed in the Tower attacks and all 64 passengers and 125
employees were killed in the Pentagon attack.
According to bin Laden, The reason for killing Americans was because of the jihad , which means
religious war. Bin laden stated, the U.S as the worst civilization by history of mankind. He went on to

Assessing The Vitality Of A Given Economy
In order to evaluate the vitality of a given economy, one must have a thorough understanding of the
key performance indicators related to economic health. Through careful research of government
statistics, media outlets, and private individuals, it can be concluded that there are 3 main indicators
that can predict and diagnose an economic situation. These main indicators, Gross Domestic Product,
Consumer Price Index, and Standard and Poor s 500 Index, each have a direct correlation to overall
economic vitality. This report outlines each of the 3 indicators and provides an economic projection
based on historical data.
Gross Domestic Product
A Lagging Indicator of Economic Vitality
Gross Domestic Product (GDP), the sum of goods and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Real GDP takes into account inflation, and therefore is a more accurate reflection of economic vitality
(1). One way in which GDP can reveal a country s economic situation is a comparison of potential
GDP and real GDP. Potential GDP is a metric that calculates what an ideal economy would produce if
it were operating at full efficiency. The difference between the United States potential and realized
GDP, known as the output gap, since the year 2004 is depicted below (2).
As evident by this data, production output dropped drastically during the 2008 crisis and has yet to
return to its pre crash volume. While the output gap is shrinking slowly, the difference represents
trillions of dollars of lost revenue. Despite slow progression, the steady lessening of the output gap
does point to economic recovery. The Congressional Budget Office reports that real GDP is expected
to rise 3% by the fourth quarter of 2014 and continue the same trend for the next 3 years (3).
Consumer Price Index
A Lagging Indicator of Economic Vitality Another lagging indicator of economic health is the
Consumer Price Index (CPI). CPI measures median price fluctuation for a base volume of goods that a
typical consumer purchases in a year (4). The CPI is a reliable measurement with a low sampling error
of .03% and includes approaches to combat bias (5). The CPI is an excellent comprehensive indicator
of economic vitality because a multitude of other factors

The Crested Gecko
The New Caledonian Crested Gecko is one of the most sought out reptiles in the herptoculture hobby
today. This medium sized gecko has all the qualities of what to expect of a pet lizard. They combine
their sheer beauty and low maintenance and docile tempers, making it an all around great pet to own
(Rhacodactylus, p. 16). In the herpetological society, the crested gecko s popularity has grown above
hobbyist, into the hands of many first time pet owners, giving a first time experience made easy.
According to Fester, (2007) the rare Crested Gecko thought to be extinct but rediscovered in New

In my experience, holding these animals are not a challenge, making them easy to hand train by
holding them three times a week for a few minutes at a time. They do, however have the tendency to
leap like frogs so I would recommend letting them leap from hand to hand. The benefit of owning an
animal of this size is also the enclosure they are kept in. According to De vosjoli, Fast, and Repashy
(2003) Baby crested geckos can be kept in small plastic keepers until they reach juvenile size, which
is about five inches (p. 19). I recently purchased a juvenile crested gecko, and its habitat is a medium
sized terrarium, where it will live throughout its life span. In observing my daughters interaction with
her crested gecko, it is clear that he is a manageable size and is not skirmish giving her an enjoyable
experience with her new pet. While the crested gecko s size makes them easy to handle, the care for
crested geckos becomes easier and less expensive with little or no special lighting and heating needed.
Heating and lighting are not necessary for crested geckos, keeping the cost of the supplies down, as
well as the cost of electricity. According to Caponetto (2013) crested geckos are one of very few
reptile species that thrive in virtually the same temperature range that humans also find comfortable
(Ciliatus.com). Since our family has owned this gecko our family has not

First, The Harlem Renaissance was a cultural movement throughout the 1920 s and 1930 s. The
purpose of the Harlem Renaissance was that it created a new black cultural identity (Beth Rowen and

and much more. This was also a way for African Americans to find their identity as individuals. This is
where the African American authors came to get their names known. The purpose of the Harlem
Renaissance was to help the African American culture find their identity as an individual instead of
being labeled by other people s opinions ( Rowen and Borgna , 2007 ). Because of all of the
opportunities that Harlem presented, Zora Neale Hurston was able to leave a legacy during this era .

disease. As stated in the journal article, not many studies have been done on the effects of a

Upon entering Cal State LA, my goal was and still is to attain a business education focusing on

disillusioning sacrifices that have left my family saddened, particularly my mother, as I am not present

absences, however she understands my reasoning and in contrast, is supportive and keeps me
motivated, and for much more than just that, I am beholden to her. The desire for my family s better
future, the motive behind my actions, keeps me advancing. My strong work ethic can be seen in the

Small Group Communication In Prison Break
Wither if someone is a child, student or an adult they have been put into small groups at one point in
their lives. For most students, like myself, it is for group projects or classroom activities. DeVito
defines a small group as, a collection of individuals who are connected to one another by some
common purpose, are interdependent, have some degree of organization among them, and see
themselves as a group (pg. 211). Being a part of a small group involves a great amount of
communication to make it successful.

As for the feedforward stage of communication, In Informal social groups, the feedforward may
consist simply of introduction of a topic of conversation or talking about what the group s members
should do (pg. 213). Since Michael is in prison, this would be considered an informal setting. After he
found people he could trust, Michael introduced the breakout plan to his fellow inmates. The crew
consisted of six men, which included himself and his brother. The six men were all on the same PI
(prison industries) crew together. When ever they had to work on a job, that s when they would talk
about their plan. Many of the members were skeptical at first, because the plan seemed crazy.
However, Michael convinced them to join anyway. Once the team was on board, Michael explained
what each member of the team needed to do.
After the second stage was completed, the group moved on to the Business stage of communication.
DeVito explains the third stage as, actual work on the tasks the problem solving (pg. 213). Michael
would tell the inmates what tasks needed to be accomplished in order for the plan to be successful. He
had to delegate tasks, so the mission could actually work. Once he told his fellow inmates what
needed to be done, they negotiated on what they wanted. If the inmates were going complete jobs for
Michael, Michael needed to do some work for them first. For example, Michael knew one inmate

Hatshepsut Personality
Hatshepsut s reign lasted 21 years from 1479 to 1458 B.C. She was the daughter of Tuthmosis and
Queen Ahmose. The queen was unable to bear a son so Tuthmosis had a son by a second queen or
harem wife. This son, Tuthmosis II became the heir and inherited the crown when Hatshepsut s father

Analysis Of The Haunting Of The Sunshine Girl
The Haunting of the Sunshine Girl is a thrilling book by Paige Mckenzie. It explores the theme that
nothing has to be done alone. Everything started on Sunshine Griffith s sixteenth birthday, throughout
the year Sunshine has been faced with a series of tests followed with her new powers. Every since she
was young, Sunshine knew she was adopted, but who has she inherited these powers from? While
Sunshine s life changes forever, the people she loves change affecting everything. The whole story is
described in detail affecting the imagery, characters and the two point of views.
The characters in The Haunting of the Sunshine Girl have similar personalities to one another.
Sunshine s character seems a little dull. Besides her luiseach power Sunshine Griffith could be
considered as a stereotypical nerd character; quiet, smart, and unlike other people. It could be hard for
the readers to connect with the main character on a personal level because the author has failed to
describe Sunshine s unique personality. Most characters in this novel have some stereotypical features,
but they all have a surprising characteristic to them. Most characters followed the luiseach journey
along with Sunshine from the beginning, and were there to help her. Sunshine s classmate, Nolan, was
Sunshine s partner throughout the discovery of Sunshine s powers. He was labelled as her protector
through this journey. They discovered most secrets together. Readers would have assume that their

most horses sent to slaughter are in good condition and are able to live out a productive life.
Americans overwhelmingly support an end to horse slaughter for human consumption. Just over

superficial layer consists of looser areolar connective tissue and the deep layer consists of dense
irregular connective tissue. Dermal cells have four main cells types called fibroblast cells, macrophage
cells, adipocyte cells, and mast cells. The most interesting cell to me are the mast cells. Mast cells
release two chemicals called Histamine and heparin. Histamine increases blood flow that relaxes
smooth muscle. Heparin is a blood thinner that increases capillary diffusion. (Tabor)
The epidermal Layer consists of 5 strata layers called the stratum basale, stratum spinosum, stratum
granulosum, stratum lucidum, and the stratum corneum. The stratum basale contains two cells called
the keratinocytes and melanocytes. Keratinocytes produce keratin and melanocytes produce melanin.
Melanin is only found in the epidermis and it protects the body from UV rays. The stratum spinosum
has tons of layers of keratinocytes. The deepest spinosum layer can undergo mitosis, pushing more
keratinocytes toward the surface (Tabor). The stratum granulosum has cells that contain an oily
substance. This oil substance waterproofs the skins and prevents the skin from dehydrating. Stratum
Lucidum cells have no nuclei or organelles. The stratum corneum

digital forensic unit to analyse the data, more so how this is used to make accurate judgment on why
the data was in this location and what its purpose or intended use was. Furthermore I will address what
kind the authority the ACPO are granted, and further dissect the responsibilities the chief
commissioner has. Lastly I will be addressing one the biggest computer related crimes which Cyber
Crime and how ACPO created a method for dealing with such crimes, such as dividing the crime into
two different categories of Cyber Crime, and how they differ from one another.

Case Study Of Pizza Delivery
According to Wysocki (2012), there are many challenges to keeping a project running smoothly, but as
a project manager for Pizza Delivery Quickly, your main concern is about monitoring the established
metrics that can alert a project is heading for distress. The project manager must be able to analyze the
situation, revise the goals, evaluate the different options and be able to revise the plan as needed.
Metrics can facilitate the tracking system, which is essential for evaluating the current project
performance level. A cutting edge tracking system serves as a gold standard benchmark or key
indicator of the level of progress for the entire project. It is also important to note that the schedule

There are different methods that must be incorporated into a project such as the PDQ project, the
Schedule Performance Index (SPI) tracking framework could be easily incorporated into the Pizza
Delivery System order entry subsystem. Also, critical precautionary measures must be taken into
consideration for any project, which measures can be implemented effectively when some parts of the
project are lagging behind and not keeping up with the metrics. The Pizza Delivery Quickly case study
can benefit from an evaluation of the entire structural system of the project and its team in order to
perform effectively. This is a key aspect, especially if the six subsystems are required to work with the
designated teams. The most important aspect in the Pizza Delivery Quickly order system is the project
management coordination element, especially if separate independent teams are utilized effectively in
the different subsystems. This Pizza Delivery Quickly case study mainly focuses in the main structure
and effectiveness of the PDQ team and the important actualization of the SPI tracking system for the

Essay on The Use of Force, by William Carlos Williams
The Use of Force is a short story by William Carlos Williams that is very powerful and leaves the
readers with an ethical dilemma. The following social issues can be debated on it: Can physical for
good purpose be justified?, What compels the use of force isn t simply altruism, difference of two
separating two different tasks, a dark side persists in every individual, parents concern for their
children, use of force as sympathy care for a patient.
The greatest question the story presents is if using force for a good cause is justified. William Carlos

This is well portrayed by their comments, which also reveal the speakers internal thoughts about the

sentence, the writer demonstrates the use of logos while trying to appeal to the reader how nagging the
parents were.
From the story, William depicts the difficulties that people have towards separating their emotions and
standards. The doctor s behavior towards the girl and the young patient s reaction emphasizes the
subject of this discussion. However, the use of ethos, the narrator portrays his character as a credible

the doctor to take aggressive measures in treating his patient. Revealed through his words, the doctor
first tries kindness; Awe, come on, I coaxed, just open your mouth wide and let me take a look.
(Williams, 1984) However, the reaction from the girl is repulsive, forcing the doctor to be firm. The
young girl s character shows the conflict of her role as a patient and that of her personality. This is

Foreign military and economic intervention by European imperial powers created greater instability in
China. Western powers, through an unequal treaty system, engaged in legal imperialism that gave
them protection through special rights and privileges that gradually reduced Chinese tradesmen to a
subordinate role. Opium trade, fueled by Britain, drained China of silver, and drove up the price of
silver. Silver was the standard payment for taxes, but rising prices made tax payments an economic
burden for peasants. The First Opium War, 1839 to 1842, resulted in the defeat of the Chinese and the

Expansion of domain name for the benefit of users and companies as proposed by Internet
Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has many major flaws. According to
Association of National Advertisers: ICANN s proposed program for increasing competition,
promoting, innovation, addressing an alleged shortage of Internet addresses and helping differentiate
products and services is deeply flawed. (Association of National Advisers , 2011). The justification to
expand the domain name, that new gTLDs would facilitate customer search, promotes consumer
welfare, even though the registration cost for a new domain is excessively high and would harm the
brand name is flawed. The expansion of domain name will open internet for criminal activity where
felons can cyber squat in the name of trusted brands. Objections raised by stakeholders had not been
addressed adequately and the decision is mostly influenced by the parties getting directly benefits
from this program and not those going to get affected. Since beginning ICANN is proposing
introduction of new gTLDs without completing the comprehensive economic study of the domain
name registration market and, without having a completely developed understanding of the economic
realities of the domain marketplace. Thus, various communities are raising concerns for introduction

can be limited in the read zone. It will become latent after leaving the read zone. Active tags have
power from an internal battery and hence do not need a reader. These tags can store more data and are
expensive than passive tags. The picture below (Fig 1.) describes the process of RFID tags works.

Agility, speed and visibility are required into all the manufacturing process during all stages to ensure
high accuracy of delivering goods. There are a number of challenges that the retail business face
before implementing the RFID like lacking transparency, time consuming and labor intensive manual
work and challenging warehouse management, and production planning. All these are prone to human

and loss detection. Implementing RFID with the business process enhances the replenishment
practices of the company, decreasing the out of stocks.

Essay On Low Voter Turnout
It is often argued that the voter turnout is too low, especially when compared with turnout in other
democratic countries. There are several different factors that contribute to voter turnout in the US. It
can be expressed as a rate of the quantity of eligible voters, registered voters and the populace that is
politically mature enough to vote. Low voter turnout involves lack of participation and political
disengagement due to the belief that voting for a candidate will hardly change the public policies. To
measure the number of qualified voters, the voting qualified populace turnout is used. Registered voter

Texas has been reported to have the lowest number of voters in the presidential election in the US. In
2010, a survey conducted by the Annette Strauss Institute for Civic Life at the UT at Austin revealed
that Texas ranked last in the nation in voter turnout. It is recorded to be ranked 42nd in voter
registration and 49th in the number of people who contacted public officials (amarillo). One of the
main reason for low voter turnout in Texas is legal constraints. Compared to other states, Texas is one
of the restrictive states in its voting laws regarding things such as the poll tax, women suffrage, the
white primary and restriction on military vote. Moreover, more than 4 million people in Texas live in
poverty. Education and income are important determinants of electoral participation. Therefore, low
turnout rate is inevitable when poverty rate in Texas is high. Aside from that, Texas s political culture
is one of the main reason that contributes to low voter turnout.Texas is a mix of the traditionalistic and
individualistic. Their political values and belief discourage participation (Maxwell). Many Texan
believe that their vote plays a little role in politics. Texas keeps on passing laws that discourage
participation and cooperation. Overall, the absence of political will serves to exhaust the voting energy

The Origin Of The Ais Indians
Long before the Western countries discovered North America, the Native Americans lived and thrived
here. Historians believe these wandering peoples crossed over a land bridge that formed when the
earth froze over, officially named Beringia, to get to North America. These nomadic Natives began
spreading and forming different tribes around North America. One of the many tribes was the Ais
Indians of Florida. By themselves, the tribes reigned the New World, but contact with the Westerns
began their tragic demise. Although little is known about the origins of the Ais Indians, historians do
know that they settled around 1000 BC. The Ais Indians were located on the Atlantic Coast of Florida,
from present day Cape Canaveral to St. Lucie. This area would have covered four counties: Brevard,
Indian River, St. Lucie, and the northern part of Martin. The Ais Indians resided in towns and villages
along the Indian River in huts. Similar to any group of people, the Ais had a leader called the Cacique.
The Cacique was determined by whom the most respected matrilineal family was in the tribe. Unlike
the traditions of the West, the Cacique would rule through suggestion instead of force. Regarding to
housing, the huts they lived in were framed with wood or sticks, then they were covered in palmetto
leaves to form walls and a roof. As expected, the Cacique s hut was larger and more furnished than the
rest of the huts. Their diet mainly consisted of fish, oysters, clams, snails, and sea grapes

The United Kingdom s Economy After The European Union
Early this year the United Kingdom held a referendum to decide whether to leave or stay apart of the
European Union. This event is called the Brexit (Britain exiting the European Union), but even though
the acronym only includes Britain it means the entirety of the United Kingdom. In the referendum,
most of England and Whales voted to leave while Northern Ireland and Scotland voted to stay.
Ultimately the United Kingdom s vote was won in favor of leaving the EU with a 51.9% vote to stay
and a 48.1% vote to leave (BBC News). Now the question is what does this mean for the UK and how
will this impact its economy in the future? It may be too early to tell how this will play out, but for us
to identify what is happening now we must thoroughly and truly understand the reasons for this Brexit
in the first place.
By looking at the United Kingdom s economy after the referendum, it seems that nothing has
drastically changed. According to the Financial Times the Britain s GDP economic growth is slow

Risk Of Osteoporosis
During childhood, bones grow and repair very quickly, but this process gets slower as you age.
Bones stop growing in length between the ages of 16 and 18, but continue to increase in density until
you re in your late 20s.
You gradually start to lose bone density from about 35 years of age. Women normally lose bone
rapidly in the first few years.
Osteoporosis can affect both men and women. It s more common in elderly people, but it can also
affect younger people after the menopause.
Women are at a higher risk of developing osteoporosis than men because the hormone changes that

Early in the course of the disease, osteoporosis may cause no symptoms. Later, it some signals may
include dull pain in the bones or muscles, particularly low back pain or neck pain.

In older people, a fractured bone can be very serious and result in long term disability for that person.
For example, a hip fracture may lead to long term mobility problems. Sometimes a cough or sneeze

  • 2. Analysis Of Frances Burney s The Perfect Definition Of... Frances Burney was born in a time where women were treated differently from men and expected to marry as soon as possible. Evelina, a book published in 1778, portrays a character with the same name who experiences stages in her life before finally becoming a lady in personality and title. In Evelina, Burney presents the treatment of different women within a male dominated society. The ideal woman was often presented as a delicate object that depended on a man. In the novel, the perfect definition of a lady by the standards of that time is none other than Lord Orville s younger sister Lady Louisa. When Lady Louisa is seen at Mrs. Beaumont s home, Evelina notices that she is wobbling rather walking into a room and that her voice [spoke] so softly she could hardly be heard . This demonstrates her extreme femininity for being very weak and fragile to the point that she is quickly fatigued to death (410). Moreover, another example was Mrs. Mirvan in the first volume who was a kind and sweet tempered woman (132). Like a true lady of that time, she was highly dependent on a man and so she was often charged to healing those wounds which her husband s inflicts (150). Yet, Lady Louisa still remains as the main example of a real lady due to her behavior. She was easily tired, enjoyed having the attention on her and associated herself solely with those who were of her class. Sir Clement Willoughby also presents his own impression of her Ladyship: she is a mere compound of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Osama Bin Laden Osama bin Laden s hatred towards the United States drove him to do horrifying and unreasonable things. This is one example of why I believe mankind in inherently evil. The human world, it s a mess.. (Sebastian) This quote said by Sebastian the crab from the movie The Little Mermaid. And the reason I chose to open up this essay with it is because it s true. The human world is corrupted and full of sin, lust, pride, selfishness, hatred, jealousy, arrogance, rudeness, and so many other evil things. There are many people I can use as an example to support my argument. But Osama bin Laden stood out to me the most. Not only did he kill thousands of people, he planned the whole entire thing out, to every detail. He also didn t feel remorse for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... (Networks) This small group he originally started had begun to expand. In 1998, Osama led attacks in Kenya and Tanzania. These bombings are known today as the Embassy Bombings. This was what caught the attention of the American population. After noticing Osama s group as a threat President Clinton ordered retaliation missiles against Afghanistan. (Bodansky) When you say Osama bin laden people immediately associate the name with the 9/11 attacks. This man was responsible for it. On September 11, 2001 nineteen hijackers took over four flights. Their targets were The World Trade Center in New York City and The Pentagon near Washington, D.C. At around 8:45am the first plane hit the North Tower. Killing about 1,400 people. When people saw this they immediately thought it was just a mistake. Then at 9:03am the second plane crashes into the South Tower. As soon as this happened people began to understand that this was no accident. At 9:37am Flight 77 crashes into the Pentagon. It is safe to say that these attacks caused mass chaos. Approximately 2,606 people were killed in the Tower attacks and all 64 passengers and 125 employees were killed in the Pentagon attack. According to bin Laden, The reason for killing Americans was because of the jihad , which means religious war. Bin laden stated, the U.S as the worst civilization by history of mankind. • 4. Assessing The Vitality Of A Given Economy In order to evaluate the vitality of a given economy, one must have a thorough understanding of the key performance indicators related to economic health. Through careful research of government statistics, media outlets, and private individuals, it can be concluded that there are 3 main indicators that can predict and diagnose an economic situation. These main indicators, Gross Domestic Product, Consumer Price Index, and Standard and Poor s 500 Index, each have a direct correlation to overall economic vitality. This report outlines each of the 3 indicators and provides an economic projection based on historical data. Gross Domestic Product A Lagging Indicator of Economic Vitality Gross Domestic Product (GDP), the sum of goods and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Real GDP takes into account inflation, and therefore is a more accurate reflection of economic vitality (1). One way in which GDP can reveal a country s economic situation is a comparison of potential GDP and real GDP. Potential GDP is a metric that calculates what an ideal economy would produce if it were operating at full efficiency. The difference between the United States potential and realized GDP, known as the output gap, since the year 2004 is depicted below (2). As evident by this data, production output dropped drastically during the 2008 crisis and has yet to return to its pre crash volume. While the output gap is shrinking slowly, the difference represents trillions of dollars of lost revenue. Despite slow progression, the steady lessening of the output gap does point to economic recovery. The Congressional Budget Office reports that real GDP is expected to rise 3% by the fourth quarter of 2014 and continue the same trend for the next 3 years (3). Consumer Price Index A Lagging Indicator of Economic Vitality Another lagging indicator of economic health is the Consumer Price Index (CPI). CPI measures median price fluctuation for a base volume of goods that a typical consumer purchases in a year (4). The CPI is a reliable measurement with a low sampling error of .03% and includes approaches to combat bias (5). The CPI is an excellent comprehensive indicator of economic vitality because a multitude of other factors ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Sanchez COM/172 September 18, 2013 Lee Hornbrook The Crested Gecko The New Caledonian Crested Gecko is one of the most sought out reptiles in the herptoculture hobby today. This medium sized gecko has all the qualities of what to expect of a pet lizard. They combine their sheer beauty and low maintenance and docile tempers, making it an all around great pet to own (Rhacodactylus, p. 16). In the herpetological society, the crested gecko s popularity has grown above hobbyist, into the hands of many first time pet owners, giving a first time experience made easy. According to De vosjoli, Fast, and Repashy (2003) Baby crested geckos can be kept in small plastic keepers until they reach juvenile size, which is about five inches (p. 19). I recently purchased a juvenile crested gecko, and its habitat is a medium sized terrarium, where it will live throughout its life span. In observing my daughters interaction with her crested gecko, it is clear that he is a manageable size and is not skirmish giving her an enjoyable experience with her new pet. While the crested gecko s size makes them easy to handle, the care for crested geckos becomes easier and less expensive with little or no special lighting and heating needed. Heating and lighting are not necessary for crested geckos, keeping the cost of the supplies down, as well as the cost of electricity. According to Association of National Advertisers: ICANN s proposed program for increasing competition, promoting, innovation, addressing an alleged shortage of Internet addresses and helping differentiate products and services is deeply flawed. (Association of National Advisers , 2011). The justification to expand the domain name, that new gTLDs would facilitate customer search, promotes consumer welfare, even though the registration cost for a new domain is excessively high and would harm the brand name is flawed. Historians believe these wandering peoples crossed over a land bridge that formed when the earth froze over, officially named Beringia, to get to North America.
