2. Fetus Removal Essay
It is generally acknowledged that the reality of premature birth has been a subject of discussion and
debate for a long time. Since the extent of individuals who acknowledge fetus removal as a typical
technique is equivalent to the extent of the individuals who consider premature birth a wrongdoing ,
through time plenty of estimations have been taken against premature birth yet concerning its
resistance also. Although the reality of fetus removal has been analyzed through it s logical and
religious side, in this task we will attempt and inspect premature birth from a moral perspective.
The ideal route for somebody to allude to premature birth on a moral premise would likely be through
the depiction and assessment of the subject in view of two of the most known hypothetical
methodologies: those of Kant s and of Utilitarianism (Act and Rule).
Starting with the approach of Utilitarianism, we should state that Utilitarianism, is concerned
essentially with joy and with torment. In this manner, somebody ought to be worried about the
measures of delight and torment in circumstances where premature birth is allowed as appeared
differently in relation to the measures of joy and torment where fetus removal is taboo.
It may be recommended that the fundamental thought would be the interests of the baby: not
exclusively would its be able to future life be expectedly upbeat (or possibly having an adjust of
satisfaction over anguish) it may likewise be simply the case that the premature birth is difficult,
especially in the event that it happens later in the pregnancy. However this emphasis on the baby is
unjustifiable since any agony associated with the premature birth itself can be kept away from by
essentially prematurely ending the pregnancy sooner (before the hatchling has even built up the
capacity of anguish), or with effortless methods. The immediate enduring of the baby can in this way
be no contention against fetus removal, for the most part, just the awful routine with regards to it.
A more noteworthy thought exists on the off chance that we speculate that the future existence of the
baby includes a likely adjust of bliss over anguish for the embryo. This would appear to be an
unequivocal point against

3. Betrayal In The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner
Taking place in the natural world, Samuel Coleridge s The Rime of the Ancient Mariner follows a man
and his crew through a supernatural experience induced by spiritual retribution. This man, the
mysterious Ancient Mariner, is now cursed with the need to share his story so that he may find
temporary relief. In a sense he has become an estranged prophet following the course of his voyage
through the realms of life and death. He and his crew are tormented relentlessly after he willfully kills
the one thing that secured their salvation, a beautiful albatross. Through the intervention and death of
the beloved creature, biblical and other supernatural themes intertwine to create a tale that parallels a
Biblical story of betrayal and combines ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

rescued by the Pilot and Pilot s boy and is able to meet the hermit, a man whose close relationship
with God causes the Ancient Mariner to hope that he can free him of his sin. Upon communicating

The evolving challenges of sustainability between ancient and modern civilisations.
A healthy natural environment is indispensible to the wellbeing of humans everywhere in the world.
From the provisioning adequate food, clean water and air, to regulating diseases, ecosystem services
and human health depend on conditions of the natural environment.
Links between the natural environment and human livelihood are complex. Human resource and land
use are structured by limits of the environment. Environmental determinism has in the past been a
prominent theory when exploring the relationship between humans and the environment. The concept
is that the evolution and development of humans, culture and society is a direct response to the ...

An example of where this has occurred is in the civilisation that once inhabited Easter Island. The
history of the island has become a symbol of human induced ecological and subsequent cultural
collapse. It was home to the ancient civilisation, of Polynesian decent and is most well known for the
hundreds of Moai stone statues that were erected across the island by the ancient civilisation
(Diamond, 2006) . It is known that the society on Easter Island was a complex society but at the time
that Europeans discovered the island, the population had crashed and was almost decimated (de la
Croix and Dottori, 2008). Ecological collapse is often regarded as the predominant factor, which
caused the societal collapse.
The limits set by Easter Islands geography presented challenges to early human settlers. The climate is
cool, windy and dry compared to other pacific islands. The cooler waters resulted in a reduced
availability of fish and shellfish, one of the main dietary staples for other civilisations in the pacific at
that time(Diamond, 2006). The accessibility to fresh water was also difficult. The porous volcanic
soils caused the water to percolate quickly. There is only one fresh water stream on the island and few
fresh water springs, offshore and ponds in volcanic craters (Diamond, 2006). Its geographical isolation

5. Israel s Unfaithfulness To Hosea
A prophet was someone called by God to be a spokesman and a model of the message that God gave
them. The prophets spoke the God given message through different types of oracles, as well as in a
poetic fashion. Not only did God call the prophets to speak the message, he also called them to
visually illustrate the message with their lives. So, they lived out what they preached. Hosea was a
prophet to the kingdom of Israel. God called Hosea to marry a harlot as a symbol of Israel s adultery
against God. Gomer s unfaithfulness to Hosea was an illustrative picture of Israel s unfaithfulness to
God with the gods of the other kingdoms. Hosea had three children with Gomer, each child s name
held a meaning related to Israel s future. Hosea s first son was named Jezreel as a picture of the future
bloodshed, and the end of the house of Israel. Hosea s second child was a daughter, and her name was
Lo Ruhamah as a picture of the mercy that God would take from Israel and give to Judah. Hosea s last
child was another son whose name was Lo Ammi as a picture of God rejecting the house of Israel as
His people because of their sin. After Hosea and Gomer had their children, Gomer became unfaithful
and ran off with other lovers. Little did she know, she was exhibiting a picture of Israel s
unfaithfulness. As a picture of God s restoration ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

6. Consequences Of The Morality Of Education InThe Adventures...
Mark Twain strongly believed that society [should not] let schooling interfere with [one s] education (
Mark Twain Quotes ). The history that is commonly taught in today s school systems is full of
conceived notions of censorship and the forgotten brutality of mankind against his brethren. Through
his work, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Twain elaborates on these evil tendencies of mankind,
bringing forth crucial arguments that teach lessons of humanity to the children of today s society. For
both the educational and moral good of mankind, this history must not be forgotten; in the same
manner, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn must not be erased from the nation s school curriculum for
its contemporary relevance.
Unfortunately, throughout history, Huckleberry Finn has faced many opponents who rejected the
novel on the ethical grounds of profanity, racism, and intolerance (Smith 183; Karolides 266). When
the novel was released in 1884, it was a hit, but the now American classic s first adversaries came a
few decades later. Surprisingly, the first challengers to dismiss Huck Finn were actually white. They
feared Huck would set a bad example for the young white boys of the 1930s due to his improper
English and poor behavior flaws (Fikes 241). The first institution to ban Huck Finn was the Concord
Public Library, which referred to Twain s work as trash suitable only for the slums (Karolides 398).
This sparked a chain of challenges across the nation, even to other countries.

as Muhammad s Million Youth March , a youth equivalent of the Million Man March in Harlem in
which 6000 people protested police brutality but also featured a range of speakers calling for the
extermination of whites in South Africa. The rally ended in scuffles with the NYPD as Muhammad

10. `` The Republic Of Nature `` By Mark Fiege, The Salem...
Pure Perspective
From the mightiest of Redwoods to the tiniest bacterium, nature encapsulates mankind. Nature
surrounds humanity as a sovereign witness to man s most astounding triumphs, and the disgusting
atrocities perpetrated by man against his fellow man. Regardless of the circumstances, nature remains
unbiased in the face of all conflicts and struggles. Nature cannot deceive or mislead like humanity can.
It is for this reason why nature has an ideal perspective to view history. As shown through Mark Fiege
s book The Republic of Nature: an Environmental History of the United States, the lense of nature is
extremely important to both readers and historians alike due to the fact that unlike almost all other
sources, nature is unbiased and honest. This is exemplified through Fiege s exploration of the history
of the the construction of the Lincoln Memorial, the Salem witch trials, and natural law.
Prior to diving into the many new insights that can be comprehended while viewing history through a
natural lense, it is important to define nature in this context. While man is technically a creation of
nature, and therefore nature himself, he shall be excluded from this brief definition of what composes
nature. Here, nature will be considered everything living or otherwise on this earth that is not a
creation or product of humanity. All other creatures and parts of the environment are to be considered
nature.
To introduce the powerful effect of the unbiased lense of nature,

11. What Is Frankenstein Sublime
The Romantic period, an era bursting with art and literature, was home to many great writers, writers
such as Percy Bysshe Shelley, William Wordsworth, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, and Mary Shelley. One
can imagine that among the many topics that preoccupied the many different works and ideas of these
Romantic poets and writers was the Romantic conception of sublime, or idea of being able to connect
to one s own experiences of awe and other emotions like those of terror or even danger. The writers
and poets of the Romantic era would no doubt have been familiar with this concept. In fact, this the
Romantic conception of sublime shows up repeatedly throughout Mary Shelley s work, Frankenstein.

speaks of solitude through nature, which parallels to way that Shelley has Victor go off on his escapes

13. American Chemical Corporation Case Summary
Introduction:
1) This report considers the potential purchase of the sodium chlorate producing plant in Collinsville,
Alabama by Dixon Corporation from American Chemical Corporation in October 1979. The reason
for this stems from the fact that American Chemical Corporation was attempting at the time to buy a
controlling stake in Universal Paper Corporation, but the management of Universal contested this on
the basis that it would be anti competitive, given that they were both producers of sodium chlorate.
The US government supported Universal in this belief and in order to prevent court action American
had to agree to divest its sodium chlorate producing plant in Collinsville, Alabama. As of October of

2) Assumes cash flows are reinvested at a hurdle rate specified by Dixon, which accounts for the
required rate of return on the project given its risk profile (unlike the IRR, where cash flows are

3) Takes account of the time value of money by discounting the cash flows back to the present period,
with higher weightings given to more recent cash flows.
4) This discounting is done using our specified hurdle rate, ensuring that the discounted value
accounts for the required return on the project.
Now that we have determined that NPV is to be our evaluation method for the plant we need to

Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC)
11) In calculating a discount rate for this firm we need to ask Is it to be cost of debt, cost of equity, or
a weighted average of the two in a cost of capital? The financing for this project is 100% debt so the
initial thought is to use cost of debt as the discount rate. However we believe this to not be the correct
approach. Debt as at October 30, 1979 (prior to the proposed acquisition) was $1,000,00) while

15. Analysis Of The Book Cold Mountain
Symbolism is the idea of representing things by using symbols or devoting things with a symbolic
meaning or character. Symbolism can range from something miniscule or even something broad to
something very specific, as long as it has some connection with something else or someone else.
Charles Frazier, author of Cold Mountain, exemplifies quite a few examples of symbolism. From the
crows to the roads, and even the title itself, the novel shows show many different points of symbolism.
As the book goes on, the amount of symbolism appears, making the character and the symbolism
more understand and attention grabbing towards the reader making them not want to put the book
down. When people think crows they think annoying black birds that try to steal food from gardens,
but in Cold Mountain, it is a big part of the story, as well as a reoccurring symbol within the novel.
The reader first reads about the crows right when the book begins, when Inman was younger and in
school. When he was just a little kid in school, he was being mischievous and decided to throw his hat
out the window, but when it landed it took a shape of something. It landed far out across the
playground at the edge of the hayfield and rested there black as the shadow of a crow squatted on the
ground (Frazier 5). In this quote, it is odd that a young age he sees a crow just from a hat, but it does

example, the Old Woman was found having books and her house became a victim of the firemen s

quote from Faber reveals that it s not the physical copies of the books themselves, but more so, what
they convey in the articles of the book. In other words, Faber teaches Montag that books, in a way, are
the realms and foundations of the outside world. Additionally, he somewhat says that books are the
only information in the society about the outside world. Thus, the wise, knowledgeable, and rational

approaching thunder that, one day, will destroy us too. I feel the suffering of millions. And yet, when I

1942 when her family had to go into hiding in the Secret Annex , an empty section behind her father s
company, after her sister Margot was called up to go to a labor camp. Eventually they were joined by
the van Daan family (van Pels) and Alfred Dussel (Fritz Pfeffer). Although it might appear that
conflict is the main cause because conflict between Nazi Germany and Jews caused the Franks to

change in power turned Hitler and the party into power, and change of living conditions caused
conflict in the Annex. In The Diary of a Young Girl, the driving force is change. It is the underlying

20. Stock Regulatory Infrastructure Of The Indian Securities...
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to take stock regulatory infrastructure of the Indian securities market and
see whether there exist well formulated laws with well defined scope and powers of the regulator,
capable of presenting all investors in the Indian market with a level of playing field. We summarise
some of the regulatory provisions that have evolved for tackling market misconduct and try to see
what comes in the way of regulatory action aimed at investor protection in India, as compared with
US which is perceived as the world s most safe and liquid capital market. We also discuss the roles the
stock exchanges and electronic databases in aiding the regulator in prevention, detection and
conviction of securities frauds. One tends to conclude that the scope of Indian securities laws which
gave gradually evolved over time is now quite pervasive and the problem lies mostly in the enforcing
compliance particularly for crimes such as price manipulation and illegal insider trading. Our
discussion suggests that there remains need to ensure that laws/regulations are rationalised to
completely empower SEBI to carry out its functions as the principle regulator, while SEBI in turn
needs to drastically upgrade its surveillance process enabling to produce evidence that is credible
enough to secure conviction.

intellectual and moral leadership in an attempt to win over the less powerful submissive groups
(Storey 8). In this way, hegemony will be demonstrated in youth culture. Willard states that the
cultural authority of the dominant society must be questioned as to its legitimacy in the dominant role
as the authority plays an important role in its production (739). Talcott Parson (qtd. in Osgerby) says
that youth in his view, established behaviours and values, often perceived by older generations as
unique and different from the dominant society which ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Others that called themselves the authentic gothic community didn t particularly like this and thought
they sought resistance they had been portrayed the wrong way. They then used the internet to
counteract this by posting on sites that the shooters of columbine weren t true Goths and had merely
adopted gothic fashion (Griffiths 240). This indicates that the influence of the media has
misrepresented Goths as something they are not. In this case Goths had achieved the resistance from
the powerful dominating society they sought if not in the way they planned to.
Though Goths have been outcast by the media, Paul Hodkinson (qtd. in Osgerby) illustrates a different
portrayal of Goths in society, they pride themselves on having individuality, creativity, open
mindedness and commitment (132) and this is shown in society by applying themselves in creative
works, sometimes involving their usual job.
Popular entertainment also applies to hegemony in its use of power as there is a dominant view that
through the use of popular media, video games, particular theatres and other popular forms of
entertainment youth has been badly affected and influenced by these. The transgression of juvenile
crime in Britain in Victorian times in youth is thought to be derived from penny gaff theatres
(Springhall qtd. in Osgerby 66).
Over the years popular entertainment has

Literature review
The purpose of this review is to assess the links between rheumatoid arthritis and periodontal disease.
Past narrative reviews have identified relationships such as cytokine profiles and inflammatory

periodontal disease. Studies to date provided evidence that the pathological process in rheumatoid
arthritis and periodontal disease are similar. However the relationship between the extent and severity
is to be defined.
Studies 1 and 2 used the standardised critical appraisal tool from the Joanna Briggs Institute. This is a

As the producer in charge of technical operations for our group, I had to decide if it was even possible
to accept this work. My challenge was was twofold: could I put together the talent necessary to
support this work and could I design a method of finishing these shows in a way that would meet their
schedule and budget. In light of the extremely compressed time frame given to do so, my initial
reaction was we could not. A typical workflow testing and onboarding schedule spans several weeks.
We had less than one week to decide whether to accept the work as the client had just received
network delivery dates for his first show. All post production, regardless of the type of project, shares
a common set of processes. Our department s method of edit color mix delivery is geared toward
finishing short pieces with chaotic schedules. Typical broadcast finishing tilts toward longer schedules
with more regimented turnovers and asset control. After meeting with the client s head of post
production to discuss their needs, my estimation of unscripted broadcast finishing was that it lived in

Home Sweet Home
Everyone dreams about buying his or her dream house; I lost my dream house, twice. When my
girlfriend Izzy and I began house searching, it was a whirlwind of excitement. This was our first hunt
in the real estate market, and we were ready to close in on the perfect first house. Suddenly we were
staying up into the late hours of the night, cuddled in bed, endlessly searching for houses on Zillow.
Throw pillows, dishes and pictures began to jump off the shelves at us in every store we entered. We
anxiously imagined every aspect of what we wanted in our house. The rush of chasing down the ideal
house and making it our home was thrilling, yet short lived.
We were set on a modern ranch style dwelling, farmhouse style for her, and a large garage for me. One
day our real estate agent called and exclaimed she tracked down a house that met every bullet point on
our checklist, and that we should meet her immediately to view it. The home had a large southern style
front porch, new rustic bamboo wood floors, and all white cabinets. The open and light build was
perfect for Izzy. Around the side of the house was a two car garage complete with a custom peg wall
for tools and built in shelving. Not much further around the house was the back yard, large and
completely fenced in. The storage and build was perfect for me. We knew this was our house; it had to
be.
As we were standing in the center of the bare living room, our real estate agent s phone began to ring.

Scientists have described our world as a clump of matter that spun out of the sun to join its journey

Felecia and Joseph both have numerous social interactions, not just as individuals, but as a couple as a

touch on everything from basketball, to school, and relationships. During his interactions with his
friends on the basketball court, he can at times be competitive, but that s just the nature of the game. If
he ever loses there are moments when he ll just storm off the court not shaking hands. His attitude can
be taken to another level if he loses and performs poorly, whenever this occurs he doesn t only storm

chance to interact with his classmates/teachers. There are moments when he doesn t have much to say

First, evidence should be viewed by the author and his statements. Most statements with the epistle
itself does suggest that the individual was an eye witness to the many acclamation of the mission of
Jesus1 John 1:1 4). Other such evidence will be viewed by the early church tradition and fathers who
will provide both external and internal support for the conclusion. By the close of the first century, the
apostles were clearly called presbyters or Elders. Eusebius quotes Papias who refers to an Elder John
and this reveals that there is no reason not to designate the author of the epistles by his traditional
name, John. [3] Charles Freeman sees that the role of the controversies is plagued by the birth of what
was a new religion from its birth in Judaea in the first century A.D. [4] One question that circulates is
why not John signed his name. It is a very logical to assume that the Gospel s message not the identity
was most relevant. According to R. Alan Culpepper, the influence of the Gospel of John on Christian
theology can hardly be measured, its popularity and john was esteemed by the church.

In this lab, the experimenters will determine how the structure of an alkyl halide (i.e. methyl, primary,
secondary, or tertiary), steric effects, nature of a leaving group, and solvent polarity affect the relative
rates of SN1 and SN2 reactions. In addition, comparing the rates of reactions under varying
concentrations of alkyl halides and nucleophiles will help determine the rate laws for both types of
nucleophilic substitution reactions. During SN2 reactions, a good nucleophile, like iodide, will
displace the leaving group on an alkyl halide in a single step that results in an inversion of
configuration. Methyl, primary, and some secondary halides undergo this bimolecular substitution
reaction. Minimal steric effects combined with a good leaving group and a polar, aprotic solvent ...

The more stable the resulting carbocation, the quicker this step occurs. After this rate limiting step,
rapid reaction with a weak nucleophile (e.g. ethanol) attacking from either side of the carbocation
completes the substitution reaction. A racemic mixture forms with a slight favoring of the inverted
molecule because of ion pair formation. A good leaving group capable of delocalizing a negative
charge aids in the formation of the initial carbocation. Additionally, polar, protic solvents capable of
solvating and stabilizing a carbocation support the SN1 mechanism. Tertiary alkyl halides provide the
ideal substrate for the formation of a stable tertiary carbocation that favors the SN1 mechanisms.
When testing the factors affecting the SN2 reaction below, the experimenters will achieve the fastest
reaction when using a primary alkyl halide with minimal branching and the best leaving group (i.e. 1

the tertiary alkyl halide with the strongest leaving group reacted in pure

Othello is a play about suffering; every character in the play has some cruel compounce: not a single

exist in the play. The characters have no freewill and cannot be deceived. This play uses deception
wrong according to Shakespeare. Usually, Shakespeare uses deception to a positive end of the players.
When used in tragedies, Romeo and Juliet use deception to further their love, although it does

Globalization Learning Journal 2 Throughout this section of the class, the IMF and the World Bank
have been studied extensively. All students have come away with different ideas about these two
organizations. In the following paragraphs, I will attempt to explain my own thoughts on the IMF and
the World Bank. Mainly, that their practices are insufficient for accountability and do threaten the
sovereignty of certain nations. I will also attempt to explain why I think this is the case. The first item
of importance, however, is to go through what the goals and criticisms are of these two organizations.
The goals of the IMF are global monetary cooperation, securing financial stability, facilitating
international trade, promoting high employment and sustainable economic growth, and reducing
poverty around the world. (IMF About, 2016). In comparison, the goals of the World Bank are less
obviously stated due to the fact that they are an organization with many sub organizations within it.
The overarching goal, however, seems to be around assisting countries with both poverty alleviation
and economic development (About the World Bank, 2016). Both the IMF and the World Bank have
similar goals, and they also have similar criticisms as well. In terms of the IMF, several of the
criticisms are as follows: They do not generally specialize in the economies of the countries whose

38. The Great Divide And Abortion Essay
The Great Divide Abortion is dividing America. Without a common understanding of abortion, this
issue will always be divisive in America. Throughout the history of America, abortion has been an
issue that has generally separated people into two camps, those in favor of abortion and those against
abortion. However, these two groups, more often than not, have not approached their understanding of
this issue from the same perspective. Generally speaking, those in favor of abortion see the issue of
the personal rights of women. However, those against abortion, view the issue of the rights of the
child. As a result, these two perspectives will never gain unity or a common understanding of abortion.
The purpose of this paper is to not only give a clear understanding of both sides of the issue, but to
argue that this issue will never be a unifying issue in American culture. A simple definition of abortion
provides a common starting point for understanding this divisive issue. The Webster s New World
Dictionary defines abortion as a premature expulsion of a fetus so that it does not live, especially if
induced on purpose (2). The fact that the fetus cannot survive independently outside of the mother s
womb due to an abortion presents a continuous debate. Ultimately this debate hinges on the point in
time the fetus becomes a human being. Mark Y. Herring quotes the text from Abortion, Medicine and
Law, Abortion implies intent or purpose, but statutes frequently spell it out anyway,

Maya Secrets Locked in Stone
Maya scholars debated for decades over the fate of the Maya. Recent evidence from an unlikely
source, points a sustained drought in the 9th and 10th Centuries.
Stalagmites and Stone Carvings Offer Clues on the Collapse of the Maya Civilization
Circa 900 A.D., the Maya world fell apart. How could an ancient Meso
American civilization flourish for hundreds of years only to fade into the forest? That riddle has
perplexed scholars ever since 19th century explorers
John Stephens and Frederick Catherwood first stumbled upon moldering ruins to discover lost cities,
vine covered temples and an infrastructure worthy of a small kingdom.
Although the full extent of what befell Maya cities like Tikal and Copan, on the Yucatan Peten
Peninsula in present day Mexico and Central
America, remains a mystery. Research points to a change in long term weather patterns likely brought
about their decline. Part of a growing body of evidence, popularized by academics, like Jared
Diamond, that a prolonged drought preceded by abundant rainfall had turned prosperous Maya city
states into desolate ghost towns.
A Cave Yield s Clues
Recent studies have shed new light on this phenomenon. According to a paper published in Science
magazine, between 820 and 870 A.D., the Maya received 40 percent less rainfall than in prior decades.
Scientists surmise that the lack of rainfall tore at the social fabric of the Maya civilization. The

It should be able to connect with all kinds of phones and devices most especially the current one you
are using. Noise cancellation features and range count as well. Its range should at least reach 167
yards while still sounding crystal clear.
Other Benefits of a Motorcycle Bluetooth Helmet
The main benefit and the initial purpose we use Bluetooth devices is the freedom it provides by hands
free communication. They also feature GPS navigation control and associate with the motorcycle
headphones accurately so there s no need to pull off on the road. And because of the Bluetooth
technology, the problem in using these devices like environmental noise has been eliminated too. In
addition, a voice prompt is another feature which makes them interactive and more efficient to use.
An added benefit in using a motorcycle bluetooth helmet is the clear music. Since bluetooth
technology can be connected to almost any advanced media like MP3, it allows the biker to appreciate
the music and enjoy driving even more.

42. Vincent Van Gogh The Great Wave Off Kanagawa
I am seeking, I am striving. I am in it with all my heart. Stated by Vincent Van Gogh, one of the most
well known artists in the world. If heaven gives me ten more years or an extension of even five, I shall
become a true artist. Stated by Hokusai, another one of the most famous artists in the world. Both
artists have a very similar mindset, but that s not all that s similar between them. After analyzing both
pieces of art, Vincent Van Gogh s Starry Night and Hokusai s The Great Wave Off Kanagawa are very
similar.
To begin with, everyone knows Vincent Van Gogh. He is one the most famous artists in the world. In
Van Gogh s Starry Night it has been said that the painting depicts his view from an asylum. After
receiving a mental ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It is estimated that 5000 8000 prints were made during this process, which makes it very valuable.
Although prints were one cheap, prints are actually very valuable now. In the print, it is shown that
there is a mountain in the background, behind the wave. Which is kinda the whole point of the
painting, the great wave off Kanagawa . In the print, it shows a wave, but this wave is not a tsunami
but called things like freak wave or monster wave , which makes it nonetheless deadly. In the print, it
is shown that there are boats trying to fight the wave, which is confused to be Japanese inspired but
that s just its style. It s funny because Japanese politicians don t even view it as Japanese art, which is
mostly why Hokusai considered it a failure. Japan even delayed this artwork from being catching on
worldwide.
After analyzing both pieces of art, I see that both pieces of art very similar. To begin with, regarding
the colour contrast between both paintings, there are a lot more similarities between both artists. Both
paintings were made in the 1800s. After both pieces of art were finished, the artists declared them both
failures. Both paintings are also very famous, they re both actually in the top 50 most famous works of
art, along with the Mona Lisa and Scream . Both works of art also include the story of how the artist
sees the world, also showing it in

43. Pros And Cons Of Repealing Obamacare
A somewhat impertinent question to the GOP: Were you lying the whole time about repealing
Obamacare? History has taught us that sometimes it s inflection points are difficult to discern in the
moment. Often it takes events around these points to provide context. Examining the past is through
the objective lens of hindsight makes it easy to determine these points, but not so for those in the
midst of them. However, one can use past events and the immutable laws of human nature to look
ahead and see if present events meet the standard of an historic turning point. In the case of present
events one can make an educated guess as to the consequences of the two choices before you. At
present the GOP has a choice to make with regard to the fiscal abomination of Obamacare. It can
either chose the path laid out for it by the Socialists on the nation s Left and set a course towards
historic oblivion. Or it can return to it s principled roots of preserving liberty. ... Show more content on

44. Current Schools Of Thought On Change Management
TASK 1 1.1 The analysis must include consideration of two current schools of thought on change
management and how they have contributed to organizational change Kurt Zadek Lewin (September
9, 1890 February 12, 1947) was a German American analyst, known as one of the advanced pioneers
of social , authoritative, and connected brain research An early model of progress created by Lewin
portrayed change as a three stage process. The primary stage he called unfreezing . It included
overcoming dormancy and disassembling the current personality set . It must be some piece of
surviving. Barrier systems must be circumventing. In the second stage the change happens. This is
ordinarily a time of perplexity and move. We are mindful that the old ways are constantly tested yet
we don t have a reasonable picture with reference to what we are supplanting them with yet. The third
and last stage he called solidifying . The new attitude is solidifying and one s solace level is coming
back to past levels ology The idea of progress administration is recognizable in many associations
today however how they oversee change (and how effective they are busy) changes tremendously
relying upon the nature of the business, the change and the individuals included. Associations that
handle change well seem to flourish, whilst those that don t may battle to survive. A key piece of this
relies on upon how far individuals inside the association comprehend and manage the change

45. Mythical Creatures in the Sculpture, Legend and Myth by...
I. Description
The sculpture Legend and Myth by Damien Hirst is a pair of sculptures depicting two mythical
creatures. Legend is a sculpture of the legendary creature known as a Pegasus, and its counterpart,
named Myth, which is a sculpture of a white unicorn. The medium that was used to create the two
sculptures was a combination of painted gold, silver, and also bronze. The sculpture Legend measures
to be 4575 x 2590 x 2260 mm or 180.1 x 102 x 89 in and was sculpted in 2010, while its companion,
Myth, measures 3590 x 2800 x 808 mm or 141.3 x 110.2 x 31.8 in and was sculpted in 2011, which is
close to the same size as the average horse you would see in a farmyard. According to my research,
the last location that these two sculptures were displayed was at the Chatsworth House in England.
Both sculptures are flayed on the left side of their bodies, showing the anatomy that lies within the
creatures. The two sculptures face away from each other in show horse stances. Both have the flayed
part that is showing the inner parts of the creatures facing opposite directions as well. The color of the
skin on these sculptures is white, and on the flayed portions of them, the portions that are to be
depicted as muscle are red, while the part that is to be bone is a golden color.
II. Analysis
Damien Hirst incorporated many elements of art into his creation Legend and Myth, including the
form of the plinth that both of his sculptures stand upon. The plinth creates the

Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML)
Susana Gamiz
Keiser University SAML
Security Assertion Markup Language is an Extensible Markup Language (XML) standard that lets a
user to log on once for associated but different Web sites. SAML is intended for business to business
and business to consumer transactions (Rouse, 2008). SAML states three components: assertions,
protocol, and binding, and authentication, attribute, and authorization are the three assertions.
Authentication assertion verifies the user s identity. Attribute assertion has detailed data about the user.
And authorization assertion checks what the user is authorized to do.
Features
SAML has many good features that we all can take advantages of. One of its features is that it
supports single sign on with numerous identity benefactors. Another one is that it also supports
alternatives for identity assertion and mapping the assertion identity to the user registry of the service
provider. Also, according to IBM SAML Single Sign on Scenarios, Features, and Limitations (2016),
SAML service provider can map or assert SAML token attributes to the realm, principal, unique Id,
and group, and set them into the service provider security context. It gives a plug point to allow for
customized identity mapping.
Usage
As it becomes a general agenda for communicating security and identity data, SAML is being used in
a number of different ways, three of them are Web SSO (Web single sign on), Attribute based

events that take place between 2008 and 2009 in Milwaukee s South Side. Matthew Desmond s

She decided to focus on renting to the black poor. Not because she felt kinship with the black people
but like the other landlords in the inner city they get some of the largest profits. The properties are
rented out at the same rates as the higher class neighbourhoods, but they don t have to keep them in
good condition, because their tenants are so poor and desperate that they will take anything. It also
helps that they don t reject applications with criminal records which is most of the black population.
Desmond also introduces readers to a number of Sherrena s other tenants: Lamar, the Vietnam War
veteran and father who loves to play cards with the neighborhood kids; Lamar who lost his leg, not in
the war but when he jumped out of a window while high makes it impossible for him to work so he
lives off of his welfare check, which barely covers the rent. To help Lamar when he falls short,
Sherrena often gives him odd jobs like painting and cleaning to cover the difference; but she doesn t
always pay him.
Readers also meet a mother and a grandmother named Doreen Hinkston, she is forced to live with her
four children and three grandchildren in a house across the street form Lamar. Doreen is described as a
mother hen and her children are fun loving people. But because Doreen and her children face financial
hardships, they are depress and listless. Doreen very rarely leaves her house so
