In this essay I m going to write about how different markets in the world are linked together. I am
going to talk about how in my life different markets are related on our family farm. In the farming
business and agriculture field in general, there is so many markets that can be linked in so many ways
it is crazy. The process is literally endless with buying, selling, feeding, caring for, protecting and
many others. I m just going to start off with the raising animal s aspect. We raise beef cows and calves,
pigs and run a steer finishing lot. The beginning process with the animals is actually buying them to

Now you been raising these animals for the last 12 15 months. You have invested so much money in
them and that is why you are now going to take them to the market and sell them for a profit.
Obviously you are trying to sell these animals for a higher price than what you bought them at. In the
cattle market the price are so up and down because of other factors in the economy.
There are so many other thing that are related to raising animals. All the equipment and building
needed to raise them. There fields of where they came from, how they were built and how they got
where they are. The veterinary bills for surprising accidents. The electricity, machinery need for
transporting and planting/harvesting, and so many others things that you can t even imagine.
The whole process of linked things in our world is really endless. You don t ever really realize how
and why everything is connected, but it is in some shape or form. I narrowed it down to the agriculture
field because it is an important area of our interactive world. The agriculture field may be a small part
to some people but once they realize how the agriculture field is related to the rest of the world they

A major theme in Shakespeare s play King Lear is evilness. Goneril is considered to be one of the
most evil characters in the play. The play makes her look evil but she is misunderstood and a victim of
circumstance. One can sympathize Goneril and justify why she acted the way she did. Goneril was
given a lack of love from her father. Her father favoured Cordelia causing her to be jealous, Lear was
cruel and inconsiderate to her, and her relationship with her father caused her to have unsuccessful
relationships with other men. In the beginning of the play Lear asks his infamous question which of

then continues to say Hear, Nature, hear, dear goddess, hear! / Suspend thy purpose if thou didst
intend / To make this creature fruitful. Into her womb convey sterility; / Dry up in her the organs of
increase, / And from her derogate body never spring / A babe to honor her. If she must teem, / Create
her child of spleen, that it may live / And be a thwart disnatured torment to her (1.4.273 280). Farther
into the play King Lear says But yet thou art my flesh, my blood, my daughter; / Or rather a disease
that s in my flesh, / Which I must needs call mine. Thou art a boil, / A plague sore or embossed
carbuncle, / In my corrupted blood (2.4.221 225). First he calls her a bastard, then he calls her ugly,
and then he prays to the Gods that she will not be able to have children., and then he says that she is a
disease. What kind of father says those things to his daughter? Goneril feels worthless and devalued.
