The document describes a student project to build a solar cooker. It includes:
1) An explanation that a solar cooker uses the sun's energy to cook food by reflecting and concentrating sunlight using a shiny surface.
2) A description of the Latvian student's initial attempts using a lamp instead of the sun, which allowed them to melt a candle and chocolate.
3) Plans for the students to build a improved solar cooker in the spring actually using sunlight, with advice from their science teachers to use a convex mirror to better focus the light.
A solar cooker is a device which is used to cook food by utilizing the heat energy radiated by the sun.
It utilizes the principle of reflection, concentration, absorption and greenhouse effect to convert sunlight to heat energy.
Most common, inexpensive and easier to build
A solar cooker consists of an insulated metal box or wooden box which is painted all black from inside.
what is solar collector and its types and its advantages and disadvantages of solar collector types . cross section and its diagrams of solar collector .
solar water heating system - types and mechanismlee shin
solar is one of the trending technology getting into use which reduces the utility bills and bring more beneficial factor through its eco friendly method
A Solar box cooker is like a hot box. We can cook our food without any cooking gas, kerosene, electricity, coal or wood. This cooker works with the Solar Energy, which is free. In solar cooker we can boil, bake & roast food for four to five persons.
Suitable for farmers, Nomads, Army Camps, Emergency situations etc.

Fabrication and analysis of passive type Solar Water Heating System.
The system is manufactured in the workshop of Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering,Science and Technology for fulfillment of my Bachelor Engineering Degree.
The system was successful by which good results ontained in winter season through thermosiphon water heating process with 40% efficiency.
Application of Solar Energy - Environmental Studies BBA (Honors)Samuel pongen
Presentation on Solar Energy application as per prescribed textbook Richard T. Wright – Environmental Science
Most relevant for Christ University BBA (honors)
Solar collector : A device designed to absorb incident solar radiation and to transfer the energy to a fluid passing in contact with it, usually liquid or air.
Flat – Plate Collector : A typical flat-plate collector is an insulated metal box with a glass or plastic cover (called the glazing) and a dark-colored absorber plate. These collectors heat liquid or air at temperatures less than 180°F.

What is the purpose of the Sabbath Law in the Torah. It is interesting to compare how the context of the law shifts from Exodus to Deuteronomy. Who gets to rest, and why?

Model Attribute Check Company Auto PropertyCeline George
In Odoo, the multi-company feature allows you to manage multiple companies within a single Odoo database instance. Each company can have its own configurations while still sharing common resources such as products, customers, and suppliers.
The Indian economy is classified into different sectors to simplify the analysis and understanding of economic activities. For Class 10, it's essential to grasp the sectors of the Indian economy, understand their characteristics, and recognize their importance. This guide will provide detailed notes on the Sectors of the Indian Economy Class 10, using specific long-tail keywords to enhance comprehension.

It is possible to hide or invisible some fields in odoo. Commonly using “invisible” attribute in the field definition to invisible the fields. This slide will show how to make a field invisible in odoo 17.
2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
2. SOLAR COOKER
A solar cooker uses the energy of the Sun to cook food. An
essential part of the cooker is a reflector- a shiny surface
that reflects and concentrates the Sun’s energy. They
usually have parabolic shape, the size may differ.
VERY BIG RATHER SMALL
3. DIFFERENT TYPES OF SOLAR
COOKER
• Three broad categories: the box cooker first
• box cookers; built by Horace de
Saussure in 1767;
• panel cookers; Reach temperature
90–150 °C
• reflector cookers.

these are in use in Refugee reach temperatures of 315 °C and
camps around the world above
4. LATVIAN SOLAR COOKER
• To make a solar cooker we need a shiny surface to reflect
and concentrate the Sun’s energy
• We took a bowl:
5. LATVIAN SOLAR COOKER
• We have few sunny days in winter. And the days are
pretty short that is the reason why we could not make a
real solar cooker by using solar power.
• As an alternative, we took a lamp:
6. LATVIAN SOLAR COOKER
Our first experiment, we did not cook food, but we tried to
melt a candle
BEFORE:
AFTER:
In 40 minutes (after a lesson)
we saw that the candle had
melted
8. LATVIAN SOLAR COOKER
• It was like:
«Has the chocolate melted?
Can we use it for decorating
the cake?»
• The aim was to have fun
and learn something new!
9. LATVIAN SOLAR COOKER
Science teachers • Convex mirror
Mr.Švarcs and
Mr. Suveizda advised us
to use a convex mirror to
collect the light.
10. LATVIAN SOLAR COOKER
• As it was not a sunny And we tried to find focus.
day, we used a lamp, We found it but it would
take a lot of time to wait
AGAIN
until the paper starts
burning
11. LATVIAN SOLAR COOKER
• Science teachers were mocking at us: «When your
cooker is ready, invite us to a barbecue party»
THIS : INSTEAD OF THIS:
12. LATVIAN SOLAR COOKER
• In spring we will make a solar cooker by using solar
energy and not a lamp.
