To add images to discussion boards, wikis, and blogs in the online course platform: 1. Click the Polaroid icon in the text editor to upload an image from your computer rather than attaching it. 2. Select the image and click "no" to not launch it in a new window. 3. The image will appear in the text box where it can be resized so the entire image is visible without being too large for the screen. 4. Add text, then click "post entry" or "submit" to share the post with images.

2. Images
• Every image you add should be identified
even if it is also in our book. If you take the
image off the web, be sure to note the source.
• I’ve used a Blog as an example – it works the
same way in the Discussion Board and Wiki.

3. Each post you make has a text editor:
Click on the Polaroid icon to upload the image. Please DON’T add the image
as an attachment.

4. The Insert Image window will open. Find your image!

Click on Submit

6. Click on Submit

7. Your image will appear in the Text Box and you can resize it. Click on the image.
It will then be inside a box which will let you resize it Resize it so the entire
image appears. Don’t make it too small so we can’t see any detail but don’t
make it bigger than the screen either. It is annoying to try and view a really
large image.

8. After you have resized the photo. Add
your text and then click on post entry
(for a blog) or submit.
