With ODM, Nationwide centralized over 400 interfaces and 200,000 rules. This improved consistency, sped up processes like monthly closes from 28 to 10 days, and allowed business users more control. Nationwide then implemented BPM to automate manual financial reference data change processes, reducing cycle times from weeks to days and eliminating errors. Nationwide continues using ODM and BPM to further standardize processes and data across lines of business.
