How Do You Write An Analysis Essay
Crafting an essay on the intricacies of "How Do You Write an Analysis Essay" is no simple task.
It demands a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter, an adept grasp of analytical
skills, and a proficiency in expressing thoughts coherently. The challenge lies not just in
presenting the steps involved in writing such an essay but also in elucidating the nuances that
elevate it beyond a mere summary.
The complexity begins with the need for a profound comprehension of the material under
analysis. A writer must delve deep into the subject, extracting key elements that contribute to the
overall meaning. The subsequent challenge lies in the articulation of a coherent thesis statement,
a foundation upon which the entire analysis essay rests.
Furthermore, the process involves meticulous examination of evidence, be it textual, visual, or
any other form relevant to the topic. Analyzing these components requires not only critical
thinking but also the ability to synthesize information effectively. Balancing objectivity while
expressing subjective viewpoints adds another layer of intricacy, demanding a delicate touch to
maintain the essay's credibility.
The writing process itself requires a skilled hand in structuring ideas logically. Transitioning
smoothly between different aspects of the analysis, from introduction to body paragraphs to the
conclusion, necessitates a refined writing style. Ensuring that each paragraph flows seamlessly
into the next without losing the thread of analysis is a formidable challenge.
In addition, the synthesis of different perspectives and arguments into a cohesive whole is an art
in itself. This involves not only presenting counterarguments but also debunking them
convincingly, adding depth and credibility to the essay. The language used must strike a balance
between academic rigor and accessibility, catering to both experts and general readers.
Conclusively, the difficulty in composing an essay on "How Do You Write an Analysis Essay"
lies in the synthesis of intellectual processes – comprehension, analysis, synthesis, and
effective communication. The writer needs to weave these threads into a tapestry of insight that
not only educates but also engages the reader.

Renzo Piano As A Approach To Architecture
Renzo Piano was born September 14, 1937 in Genoa, Italy, To a family of Genoese
builders. He graduated from the school of Architecture, Milan Polytechnic in 1964.
He later expressed dissatisfaction with the academic approach to architecture,
describing it as without rebellion . During his studies he was working under the
guidance of Franco Albini, his spare time was spent working steadily at his fathers
construction company. This is where he developed an inspiring love for the
architecture. After graduation, he was initially employed by his father s construction
company before collaborating with Louis Kahn in the United States and Z.S.

This building was designed to house some of the worlds most exquisite modern art,
so naturally the design had to be modern. It is constructed mostly of high tech steel
and glass, with a beautifully designed exoskeleton adding to its complexion (Renzo
Piano Building Workshop Official Site). Renzo Piano has designed and brought to
life so many structures all over the world. Some of his most famous include
Kansai, the world s largest air terminal in Osaka Bay, Japan, where Piano proved
himself a master of the gigantic project and again with the imposing Bercy
Shopping Center in Paris, as well as a massive and beautiful National Science
Museum in Amsterdam. His soccer stadium in Bari, Italy is like no other in the
world, with its great swaths of blue sky interrupting the usual monotony of stadium
seating. His versatility is displayed further in such projects as the beautiful sweep of
a nearly one thousand foot long bridge that curves across Ushibuka Bay in Southern
Japan, with the design of a 70,000 ton luxury ocean liner (Great Buildings On line).
In 1998 Piano was selected as the Laureate of the Pritzker Architecture
Bilingual Vs. Foreign Language Skills Essay
Final Paper In today s increasingly globalized world, the ability to speak a second or
multiple languages provides a wide range of benefits. Since people who have foreign
language skills surely spent much time not only in studying the language itself but
also in engaging with its culture, they can see things from other different
perspectives, not from a single perspective. The latest study actually shows that
bilingual children are more capable of understanding others perspectives than those
who speak only one language(Whyte, 2016). Moreover being multilingual can also
prevent Alzheimer s and other diseases that affect the brain. In the international
business world, workers who can speak foreign languages have more flexibility to
choose their jobs than monolingual workers. Foreign languageskills allow people to
communicate with each other and to negotiate more successfully. Foreign language
skills also can be a useful tool to fill a gap between different cultures, which leads to
the success in building a good business relationships. English is the accepted first
language of international business, and because of this, Americans may feel foreign
language is unnecessary. However, Americans who lack foreign language skills will
face competition for jobs as more and more well educated graduates who are
multilingual from Europe, China, India, and many other countries are entering the
global job market. The United States is a monolingual nation. In this increasingly

Ethical Issues In The Fantastic Planet
Introduction This essay will discuss the relationship formed in the movie, the
Fantastic Planet. It will also explore the competition and interdependence of the
characters; a personal view of the economies of each species and the final point
will explain some similarities between the movie and real life historical and modern
day events. The Relationship Formed Ethics describes the principles or standards of
human conflict. In the case of the movie, the standards between Draag and Om. In
the movie the viewer is introduced to the Draags, blue alien beings and the Oms, the
humans. Immediately we see some sort of human conflict emerging. Since the
Draags are fairly larger in size than the Oms, the Oms are belittled and treated as pets.

To me it was clear that the Draags were in control of everything. They owned the
Oms. The Oms on the other hand have no choice but to confirm to the ways of the
Draags. They re smaller and have little to offer, nor do they possess any weapons
to fight with. Terr who is an Om, becomes a pet of a Draag girl but soon escapes
from his Draag host and joins a league with the wild Oms who are hidden in an
abandon Draag park. Here the Oms are independent and fend for themselves. They
even learn for the first time, gaining new knowledge to broaden their intelligence
spectrum. Making them aware of the urgency to flee the Draags planet and to
move to a new artificial planet called Terr. The new palnet was named after the
Om, Terr, who later becomes the saviour for all Oms. In terms of being
independent the Oms needed the Draags for their food and intelligent feeding head
band. This head band helped the Oms to gain knowledge. They learnt to read and
write for the first time. The Draags also needed the Oms for a place to reside
peacefully, without any chance of another war. I thought that it came across that both
species depended on one another and that the Oms really weren t that necessary for

My Junior Year Of High School
My junior year of high school, I rocked a strapless empire waist dress. Since then
every dress I buy is a strapless empire waist dress and I plan on keeping it that way.
I want my wedding dress to be crГЁme with lots of lace and a vintage type feel as
well as floor length with a short train. I also plan on being barefoot, because the
odds of my husband being that much taller than me that I need to wear heels is
slim to none. Plus, I have never actually worn heels in my life and I do not plan on
starting anytime soon. As for my soon to be husband, he will be wearing a nice suit

one he chooses. I want the suite to be dark brown to match our color scheme... Show

The time I want my marriage to take place sunflowers will be almost out of season
which will hopefully drive the price down. I also want some type of maroon
colored flowers to go with our color scheme. I also like the idea of having pinecones
or ivy tied into the bouquets, I m an outdoorsy person and would like to have that
showing throughout the wedding. As for the men I think a maroon and orange type
lily would look good in there pockets. My bridesmaids will have bouquet s that look
close to mine, but not as big. I do not want to be over looked after all.
As for attendant gifts, I plan on giving the bridesmaids and the groomsmen some
sort of little gift. For the groomsmen probably a nice shaving kit with there initials
on it or something, so they do not look scruffy and homeless during the wedding.
As for the bridesmaids I m not one of those people who would write on cute little
mugs will you hold my dress while pee? or whatever. That s not really my taste. I
will probably give them nail polish to match the wedding colors or take them for a
manicure so they all have nice manicured hands with the right colors for the
wedding. Most of my friends are always outside and their hands look like crap
which I don t necessarily want for the wedding. For everyone who attends the
wedding I plan on just having decorative cake boxes that people can take filled with
wedding cake. That way it will be
The Stop And Frisk Policy
Patrol officers spend numerous hours a day patrolling the streets; many of these
hours are used executing the Stop and Frisk Policy. The Stop and Frisk Policy has
caused a lot of controversy nationwide. Recently there have been many cases where
the Stop and Frisk Policy has resulted in the death of an unarmed individual, typically
an African Americanmale. On July 17, 2014, Eric Gardner died while being arrested
for selling individual cigarettes. The policeused the Stop and Frisk Policy because
they had reasonable suspicion. While police were arresting Garner an officer
placed him in a choke hold, while three other man were attempting to take him
down as well. The officer that had him in the choke hold ended his life. This
incident was caught on camera and caused a lot of controversy because the officer
that had him in the choke hold was found innocent by the grand jury (Mathias, 2014,
p. 1). Although it has been proven that the Stop and Frisk Policy has prevented some
crime, the communities reaction to it demonstrates that the policy creates a negative
impact in communities where this policy is implemented. Many individuals feel
that this policy is a violation of the Fourth Amendment right, is typically only used
on minorities, and is very ineffective. Stop and frisk is a practice that permits a
police officer to stop any individual if the officer has reason to believe criminal
activity may be afoot (Fallon, 2013, p. 321). There are many cases that ruled in favor

Possible Essay Questions: 1. Consider the imagery used in Shakespeare s assigned
sonnets, Herrick s To the Virgins, and Marvell s To His Coy Mistress. Although
their images differ, what do all these poets seem to be saying about time? Be
specific when referring to the poems. The imagery is very different, but all of the
poems and poets seem to be saying time is important in life. In Shakespeare s
Sonnet 18 he says, And every fair from fair sometime declines, when explaining the
inevitable decline in appearance of his friend (Line 7). In Shakespeare s Sonnet 29
he says, I all alone beweep my outcast state, suggesting that he regrets the decisions

Although she deliberately states that she will not judge his actions one way or the
other, this is the only play she vocally states that judgment is needed, thus her
implication of his disagreeable actions. The irony with this belief is that she is
clearly anti slavery, but alludes to women following their husbands rather than
having a say in important decisions. For instance, when Tuscan informs Oroonoko
that his wife and children may not be fit to escape through the mountains and
woods Oroonoko says, if there were a woman among them so degenerate from
love and virtue to choose slavery before the pursuit of her husband, and with the
hazard of her life to share with him in his fortunes, that such a one out to be
abandoned (2217). This is interesting because Behn has had personal experience
with being oppressed as a result of her gender, yet in this story she condemns
slavery while the hero degrades women. 4. Swift asks those who find fault with his

two main points for those who find fault with his proposal to consider. First he says,
how they will be able to find food and raiment for an hundred thousand useless
mouths and backs, suggesting the critics probably won t solve the issue (Swift 2467).
Second, he says, whose sole subsistence put into a common
Snow s Day In London Chapter Summary
The story takes place during an epidemic outbreak that spread rapidly as well as
vigorously. Steven Johnson begins the book in London during the nineteenth century
(1854). The book discusses the contaminated conditions in England. More than two
million people were living within a 10 mile radius. In particular, he starts by
painting a picture of the lower class. He calls them rag gatherers, deredgermen, bone
pickers, myud larks, night soil men, and more. The main character in the story is a
man named Dr. John Snow. While everyone is convinced that people are dying
because of the terrible smell, Snow spends his time trying to prove that the smell
isn t what s killed people. He didn t know it at first, but research and proof
supporting his research proved time and time again that it was a bigger deal than
smell. In his book, Johnson says, Great breakthroughs are closer to what happens in
a floodplain: a dozen separate tributaries converge, and the rising waters lift the
genius high enough that he or she can see around the conceptual obstructions of the
age. (pg. 149). His belief was that cholera, a disease commonly spread through water
is what s causing all the deaths. Johnson gives the reader a view of Snow s day to
day efforts of proving himself. And although, Dr. Snow played a colossal part in this
story, Reverend Henry Whitehead, whose expanded knowledge of the... Show more

One of its biggest strength was the way the author used his great sense of imagery
to create depictions of life in 1854. The book had many descriptions for the places
and people. And the author never failed to mention the stench in the city. Another
strength that the book had was that it tied in many genres. Science, mystery, and it
included innovation as well. The Ghost Map tells a story of a very innovative time.
Dr. Snow and Reverend Whitehead were able to work together to identify a disease
and its source without having any modern
Frost sMending Wall, By Robert Frost
Mending Wall was influenced by Frost s neighbor while he lived on his farm in
New Hampshire. Like in Home Burial, and Stopping by Woods on a Snowy
Evening, Mending Wall is based on Frost s experiences in New England. Frost and
his neighbor met every spring to wall along their stone wall and fix any problems
with it, this is the exact setting of Mending Wall ( History ). Frost s neighbor, like
the neighbor in the poem, always believed in the same saying good fences make
good neighbors. The only major difference between the poem and Frost s actual
experiences is that in the poem the farmer and his neighbor had orchards, while Frost
had a poultry farm ( History ).
To this day Frost remains one of the most significant poets and ... Show more content

This proves that everything he wrote had an impact on the literary world and what
he wrote was important too. Furthermore, Frost was nominated for the Nobel Prize
in 1950 and was close to winning it again in 1961, but failed to win it because of
his advanced age (Kainzow). To be so close to winning one of the most recognized
awards at the age of 86, further proves his significance in the literary canon. Frost
was so important to the literary world that Poet Society of America named an award
after him. The Robert Frost Medal is awarded to poets for their distinguished lifetime
achievement in American poetry ( Frost ).
In 1960 Frost was presented with the Congressional Gold Medal, which is the
highest award an American civilian can win. President John F. Kennedy presented
him with the award in 1960 and a year later President Kennedy asked Frost to recite
a poem at his inauguration (Biography). Frost recited The Gift Outright but because
his vision was begging to fail he had to memorize the poem. This shows just how
popular Frost was, and how well respect he was too.
Frost s importance to the literary canon can be shown by more than the awards he
has won. Frost was able to reach a large and diversified readership (Caravantes),
unlike poets like Shakespear whose work can be found harder to read and
comprehend, Frost s work consisted of colloquial language which allowed him to be
able to speak in poetic but plain language
Asthma Essay
Asthma is a condition of the bronchial tubes characterized by episodes of constriction
and increased mucous production. A person with asthma has bronchial tubes that are
super sensitive to various stimuli, or triggers, that can produce asthma symptom. In
other words, asthmatics have special sensitivity that causes their lung tissue to react
far more than is should to various stimulating factors or triggers. For this reason,
people with asthma are said to have quot;twitchy airways. quot; Some symptoms that
people with asthma commonly experience are chesttightenings, difficulty inhaling
and exhaling, wheezing, production of large amounts of mucous in their windpipes
and coughing.Coughing can be frequent or intermittent, and can be... Show more

To make matters worse, mucous enters the narrowed bronchial tubes and plugs them
up, causing a further decrease in air flow. The bronchial tubes seem to close down,
and air moving through these narrowed breathing passages can cause wheezing
which is a high pithched whistlelike sound. Wheezing can be loud enough to be
heard across a room, or it can be so slight that is takes a stethoscope to hear it.
Airflow obstructions leads to air trapping in lungs. Once trapped, stale air builds up in
the lungs.Asthma attacks can be so mild they re hardly noticed or so severe that
asthmatics can feel like they re suffocating. Although more attacks seem to occur at
night, they can virtually happen anytime. Attacks may come on very suddenly, or
they may develop slowly over a period of hours or days.Among other contributing
factors, asthmatics have an imbalance in their autonomic nervous system that
controls the reactivity of their windpipes. The imbalance causes their windpipes to
become over reactive to many different stimulating factors, or triggers.
An asthmatic trigger can be any stimulus that brings about or sets off asthma
symptoms.Asthma triggers vary widely among asthmatics. The most common
triggers are allergies, irritating substances such as dust, fumes, odors and vapors.
Environmental factors, including weather changes and air

Plan of Investigation
While watching National Hockey League (NHL) games, I often heard the play by
play announcer mention at the start of the third and final period how it would be
tough for a team to come back from a one goal deficit. This led me to wonder just
how difficult it was mathematically, and how much previous periods affected the final
one. In this project, I will investigate whether the scores at the end of the first period
affect the final score of NHL games.
I will gather the scores of 200 hockey games between 2005 2008 from the nhl.com

The trendline, known as the line of best fit or the least squares regression line, shows
the linear equation which best explains the sums up the data s trend. The formula on
the right is the formula of the line of best fit.
As can be observed from these plots, teams who win at the end of the first period
have a much larger range of data, with 26 separate points versus 14 separate points
on Team B s graph. Since the scatter plot does not use a thicker dot when numerous
teams share one place on the plot, this suggests that teams who lose at the end of the
first period tend to have similar scores, as they have twelve fewer points than teams
who win.
If a team loses in the first period, this means that its X range must be smaller than
that of the winning team. Since 9/26, or almost 35%, of Team A s points are on 3 or
4 on the X axis, it is logical for Team A to have a larger range. However, even
disregarding 3 and 4 on the X axis, Team A s range is still larger than that of Team B
s. There is a greater spread of data on the Y axis of Team A, as well.
Note that when Team A scores one goal in the first period, there are instances of
them ending the third period with five or six goals. However, when Team B scores
one goal in the first period, the most goals they ended up with is only four. This
pattern is repeated when the teams score two goals in the first period. With Team A,
there are instance(s) when they end up with seven; with
Natural Trumpet History
The natural trumpet was very different in comparison to the trumpet we have and
think of today. The modern trumpet is made mostly of brass and copper, three valves,
and a four slides. Modern trumpets are used for many purposes including ensemble
and solo playing. Early natural trumpets were short straight instruments made of
wood or metal which were used for both militaristic and ceremonial purposes. The
natural trumpethad no holes or valves for altering pitches, while the trumpet today has
three valves for altering the pitches. The pitches on the natural trumpet were altered
by the performer adjusting his or her embouchure and the speed of the air being
used; while this concept is used while playing the modern trumpet, we have valves to

One of the more interesting developments that has happened recently is the
introduction of the pTrumpet, or plastic trumpet. The pTrumpet is, as the name
suggests, a trumpet that is made entirely out of plastic. The entirety of the instrument
is made of plastic, including the valves. It is incredible seeing how far the trumpet
has come and how much changed from the natural trumpet to the modern trumpet,
from no valves to three valves. The development of the trumpet was no doubt
attributed to the demands and the music that composers composed over time. As time
goes on, the trumpet has and will continue to develop as the demands and needs of

The Characters Of Moses In The Old Testament
The Old Testament in the bible is a very outstanding it has different amounts of
books that compromise the Old Testament differences between Christian Churches
as well as the names throughout the bible. It has 39 marvelous books in the bible,
that tell different stories about important people and how they change the world that
we live in today. If I had to pick on a character I would have to pick Moses.Moses, he
is a character in the Old Testament and a prophet that was picked to lead Israel out of
Egyptian slavery, and delivered the Ten Commandments. Moses was born 1400 BC
in New Kingdom of Egypt, he is the son of Amram and Yochebed, and had siblings
named Miriam and Aaron. Moses had a lot of strengths in the Old Testament he
guided people to battle against Egypt, he defended slaves, and fought the men who
harmed the women. His weakness would have to be he was a very weak speaker
and struggles with anger weakness. In Exodus 2:11 says One day, after Moses had
grown up, he went out to where his own people were and watched them at their
hard labor. He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his own people. In Hebrews
11:24 says, By faith Moses when he was grown up, refused to be called the son of
Pharaoh s daughter. However, the forty years of Moses s life he had a mother
figured that was a princess for the Egyptians. She took Moses in and made him
realize that he was becoming a man, she had very emotional problems for being his

The Causes Of Climate Change
Climate change is a major issue that has been gaining political debate over the past
few decades. According to Britain s former Chief Scientific Advisor David King,
climate change is the most severe problem we are facing today more serious even
than the threat of terrorism (Worldwatch.org). Research shows that the overall
temperature of the earth s atmosphere has been increasing at an alarming rate. This
change has not only sparked the rapid melting of polar ice caps, which are
subsequently raising sea levels, but it is also believed to be the cause of extreme
weather patterns such as heat waves, droughts, and most recently, hurricanes. With
the rise of sea levels being coupled with warmer temperatures, ideal conditions are
created for hurricanes to not only form, but also greatly intensify. The general
understanding many researchers have is that climatechange is at least partially caused
by human activity. Where the difference in opinions emerge, is how great of an effect
humans have on global warming. In August 2017, Hurricane Harvey struck a
devastating blow to Houston (The Weather Channel). The effects of the storm were
unprecedented; both with the amount of lives lost as well as economic damage. With
Вј of U.S. refineries still working to get back to full strength, officials are
scrambling in search of what measures can be taken against the severe effects of
climate change. This leads us to several big questions: what is the cause of global
warming, and more
Poverty Is Not A Task Of Charity Essay
INTRODUCTION
Overcoming poverty is not a task of charity; it is an act of justice. Like slavery and
Apartheid, poverty is not natural. It is man made and it can be overcome and
eradicated by the actions of human beings. Sometimes it falls on generation to be
great. You can be that great generation. Let your greatness blossom. Nelson Mandela.
Poverty at its worst involves hunger leading to starvation, inadequate shelter or
housing and lack of clothing. Justice is the idea that all people, everywhere in the
world, have the right to a life of dignity. This means a life free from poverty,
violence, discrimination or human rights violations. A world where justice exists
in a world where all people are included in a society and all people can claim their
rights to education, shelter, and health care regardless of how poor or rich they
are. Whenever we speak of poverty we must speak of injustice. But more than that,
we must speak of HOPE. To give hope we must have it and if we are to build hope
in others it will require something of humanity. It is found in our actions. Poverty is
a state of deprivation, or a lock of the usual or socially acceptable amount of money
or material possessions.
The most common measure of poverty in the U.S is the poverty threshold set by
the U.S government. Almost half of the world over three billion people live on less
than $2.50 a day. The poorest people will have less access to health, education, and
other services; such as: problems of
Carbon Monoxide Effect On Human Health
Air quality is one of the most important environmental problems, since it has a
major impact on the health of a large section of the urban population. Carbon
monoxide (CO) can cause harmful effects on human health as it reduces the
oxygen supply to various organs of the body. Exposure to lower levels of carbon
monoxide is very serious for those who suffer from heart disease and can cause
chest pain while recurrent exposure may contribute to additional cardiovascular
disease. Even healthy people can be affected by high levels of carbon monoxide.
People who breathe in high levels of carbon monoxide can develop vision problems,
reduce the ability to work or learn, reduce the manual ability, and difficulty in
performing complicated tasks. At very high levels, carbon monoxide is poisonous
and can cause death. [1 5]. Consequently, the effects of carbon monoxide on human
health are significant and reinforce the need for appropriate measures to adequately
control the pollutionof the environment. For this reason, recording, studying and
predicting carbon monoxide concentrations are necessary.... Show more content on

The enormous increase in the price of heating oil imposed last winter [6] has led
many households to other heating modes. One of these was the burning of
firewood, but also of other fuels. The last two years we have seen that in the large
urban centers of Greece and in the villages the turning to firewood burning in the
fireplaces and stoves has caused a severe increase in air pollutants [7]. This is another
reason why an appropriate instrument is necessary for predicting air pollution.
However, in most air pollution records the phenomenon of incomplete data is
observed which is a great impediment to the successful performance of forecasting

part of the Indian Film Industry. Bollywood is one of the largest film producers in
India and one of the largest centers of film production in the world. However, the
first films India watched were not made in Bollywood. The various stages of

The Death of Sardanapalus Analysis
The Death Of Sardanapalus
Art has been classified into many different types of styles. Some artists reflect the
style perfectly in their works and others express elements from different styles in
their pieces. The frvdsRomantic art style was a unique art style which drew away
from the Neoclassical style, which was predominant. Romantic art was the complete
opposite of Neoclassicism. Where neoclassical artists favoured strict forms, rules and
reason and logic; Romantic artists strayed away from that form of painting and

In Liberty: Leading the People, Delacroix uses a triangle to compose the piece (Fig

balance out the composition, compared to The Death of Sardanapalus, Delacroix s
painting offers no clear recession into depth. There is no logical sense of scale or
perspective. (Walsh) The Death of Sardanapalus is just clustered and a mess with no
real balance or logic. Romantic art is characterized as straying away from traditional
art forms, thus this piece is a piece reminiscent to the art style known as Romanticism
. 84 years prior to the creation of the death of Sardanapalus, another renowned French
painter, Jacques Louis David painted the most famous piece of Neoclassical art, The
Oath of the Horatii. Neoclassicism and Romanticism are two completely opposite
things. Whereas Neoclassicism stresses the importance of balance, logic, and
objectivity; Romanticism tries to emphasize the individual, spontaneity, and intuition.

The Company s Supply Chain Management Processes
Before suggesting new initiatives for Air Products, this study will first discuss the
company s Supply Chain Management processes, processes that could be greatly
improved by BPR. A business process is a collection of linked tasks that result in the
delivery of a service or product to a client. A business processis also understood to be
a set or activities and tasks that once completed, will accomplish an organizational
goal. A business is an organizational system in which economic resources (input) are
transformed by various business processes (processing) into goods and services
(output). Business processes include marketing, developing, producing, and
delivering products and services that support customers (O Brien, 2011).

I will make recommendations for how this business process can be reengineered in
accordance to the company s values of quality, innovation, and service through
Business Process Reengineering (BPR) (Hammer, 110). BPR is a management
approach involving a fundamental rethinking and radical design of the business
process to achieve dramatic improvements in critical contemporary measures of
performance such as cost, quality, service and speed. BPR elevates efficiency and
effectiveness of the company s processes that exist within and across the
organizations. The key to BPR is for the company to examine its business processes
from a clean slate perspective and determine how they can best construct these
processes to improve how they conduct business. This perspective enables the
designers of the business processes to dissociate themselves from the current process
and focus on developing a new process.
The goals BPR seeks to accomplish can be achieved by taking steps such as 1)
subsuming information processing work into the real work that produces the
information; 2) Treat
The Threats To Sea Otters
In the 1700, the Sea Otter population across the Pacific coast ranged from 150,000 to
300,000. This skyrocketing population was before the maritime fur trade that lasted
till the 1900 s. By that time, there were less than 2000 Sea Otters.
The Sea Otter is one of the smallest marine mammals in the world. Male Otters are
approximately 150 cm long and weigh about 45 kilograms. They have a extremely
small ears, black eyes, and long stiff whiskers. Their large teeth are used to crush
hard materials such as shells and their dense but soft fur is used as protection from
the cold. It is used as an insulator by air being trapped between the coarse hairs on
their bodies. Out of all of the mammals, the Sea Otter has the finest and thickest fur.

The Myth And Possibility Of Cellulite
Cellulite is a common cosmestic condition that most women (and even some men)
have to deal with at some point in their lives. Surprisingly, there is a lot of
misinformation about such familiar condition. So before freaking out about cellulite,
let s have a look at what it really is, what causes it and how to make it go away. What
is cellulite? Cellulite refers to the dimples and bumps that usually appear on the
thighs, hips and buttocks. It is the result of the underlying fat being pushed against
the connective tissues, making the skin look lumpy. Although cellulite is not harmful

The easiest option is probably cellulite creams. These creams claim to smooth the
skin texture by dissolving the fat underneath it. Nevertheless, the active ingredient
of cellulite creams is aminophylline, which is prescibed for asthma. In addition to
the lack of scientific evidence of their effectiveness against cellulite, these creams
could cause allergic reaction and is harmful to people with circulatory condition.
Massages can smooth the skin temporarily. However, as the problem lies in the fat
beneath, external massages do not get rid of cellulite. For more stable improments,
you should consider mesotherapy a therapy involving the injection of vitamins,
minerals, amino acids and enzymes to break down fat and fix the skin texture.
Liposuction is another available option. It is a surgical procedure aimed to suck out

Rumours, by Fleetwood Mac Essay
In 1977, when Fleetwood Mac released their multi platinum album Rumours, I was
4 years old and far too young to appreciate music. As I entered my mid 20s, I had
acquired a passion for music of the 1970s and fell in love with the Eagles, Rush, Led
Zeppelin, but most importantly, Fleetwood Mac. Their music had become a part of
me. It had developed into my personal therapeutic outlet and helped to keep me sane
during any emotional upheaval that I might have been experiencing. It was then that
I realized that the passionate, heartfelt music of Fleetwood Maccaptured the very

The Day Of The Holiday Shopping Season Essay
Thanksgiving day marks the beginning of the holiday shopping season. Americans
are more inclined to take out their credit cards tis the season to be jolly and shop.
One would think that consumers holiday shopping greatly affects gross domestic
product (GDP). After all, personal consumption expenditure is roughly 70% of U.S.
GDP. GDP growth in the last quarters however, have not consistently exceeded the
other three quarters of the year looking at data after the 2007 2009 Great Recession.
Nevertheless, retail sales a leading indicator provide clues on the economy s overall
consumption activity.
An uptick in retails sales is expected in December each year. Based on historical
data, monthly retail sales that is retail trade and food services excluding autos,
show a definitive pattern: December retail sales are higher than other months of
the year. Data going back the last 23 years show double digit retail sales growth in
each December. In December last year, monthly retail sales increased 17.9% from
November a $64.7 billion increase. In 2014 the increase in retail sales from
November to December was $55.8 billion.
American s shopping spree affects credit union operations. Unlike auto and mortgage

credit card loans was 6.2% of loan portfolio. In the last five years, credit card loans
stayed above 6.0% (but under 7.0%) of credit unions loan portfolio with a high of

predictable, yet unpredictable. They constantly are having new things added to the
menu that you can try, but if you know that you won t like something, they have
the things you know you will like to fall back on, making customers have more

Special Effect Of Special Effects
Movies have been another form of media to bring little dreams into big
realities, through cameras, acting, and many different special effects. Special effects
have played a special part of the filmmaking process and has evolved through the
years using a combination of improved practical effects, and computer generated
effects to provide a visually stimulating movie experience. Special effectscan only do
so much, however successful movies have been comprised with a proper balance of
all the elements of a movie, such as story, acting, and also the concept as well. The
movie industry currently relies too heavily on special effects rather than plot and
other elements which compromises the cinematic integrity;therefore to protect the
filmindustry, future special effects should be used to compliment a film s thematic
direction. The first special effect was in 1985 created by a man named Alfred
Clarke, who was filming for a beheading scene in a movie (New World
Encyclopedia). This scene was executed by having them film normally up to the
beheading, once it got up to there Alfred Clarke paused the camera and told
everyone to stop at their place in which the person being beheaded would be
switched out with a dummy and the dummy would be the one being beheaded. This
technique would then be called the stop trick and would be classified as a practical
effect (New World Encyclopedia). This would open up a lot of possibilities for the
cinema world because even with this simple trick

Kant s Thesis For The Tuality Of Morality
According to Kant (1982: 117), the goal for philosophical ethics is to create a
definitive basis for the legitimacy of moral rules. Kant attempts to prove that the
definitive basis lies within reason, not in intuition or conscience. Kant opposes what
the utilitarian say, they state that pleasure is the object of morality(Beauchamp, 1982:
117). Kant believes that an action is deemed as correct if only it conforms to a moral
rule that an individual would follow if they were using their reasoning (Beauchamp,
1982: 117).
Kant was a German philosopher born1724 and died 1804 (McCormick, 2017). He
was born in Konigsberg (McCormick, 2017). He received his education at the
University of Konigsberg where he obtained his Ph.D. in 1755 (McCormick, 2017).

People s ability to make decisions happens because they possess rationality or
reason (Beauchamp, 1982: 121). Morality and reasoning go hand in hand because
they share certain characteristics (Beauchamp, 1982: 117). Morality is universal,
and so is reason (Beauchamp, 1982: 117). Being moral or rational, does not stop
applying to an individual just because they do not care for morality or rationality,
this makes them categorical (Beauchamp, 1982: 117). Neither morality nor
rationality depends on what we want (Beauchamp, 1982: 122). A universal law is a
law that everyone must abide by; there are no exceptions for a certain person
(Ellington, 1981: iv). For example when something is a universal law, even the
president must abide by this law. Kant also states that an individual should Act in
such a way that you treat humanity, whether in your own person or in the person of
another, always at the same time as an end and never simply as a means
(Beauchamp, 1982: 123). For example when an individual goes to a shop to buy
their groceries, there is cashier there to help. The cashier is there at your disposal,
you use the cashier to pay for the food you bought, and you use her to obtain what
you want. What Kant is saying is that just because you are using the cashier to get
what you want, you should not feel the need not to treat the person with the respect
and moral dignity that they deserve. Just because they are carrying out a task for
you, you do not have to disrespect their essence (Beauchamp, 1982: 124). This also
applies to people that volunteer to test a new drug that has been discovered. The
person doing the testing has to treat the person with the respect and dignity that they
deserve, not as a mere object. Lerato is going to need the help of her doctor to be

The Influence of Pressure Groups on the Government Essay
The Influence of Pressure Groups on the Government
This essay will outline the significance to which pressure groups have an influence on
government and explain how they have fared under New Labour governments.
Whilst the term pressure groups may be relatively new, the concept itself dates
back as far as 1787. The Society for Effecting the Abolition of the Slave Trade was
led by William Wilberforce and Thomas Clarkson and successfully campaigned for
the abolition of the slave trade. (Jones, 2004, p233)
Pressure groups are formed by a group of people who share a common interest or

Insider groups will regularly be consulted by the government. This consultative role
is built up if a group has demonstrated a number of features: Authority the ability of
the group to speak on behalf of all of its members. Information the group has
expertise and information on a specific subject. Compatibility of the objectives with
that of the government. Compatibility of the groups objectives with public
sympathies. Track record of giving good advice. Possession of powerful sanctions if
a group has the ability to seriously affect society through withdrawal of their services
their interests may be viewed more sympathetically. (Jones, 2004, p239)
Governments recognise the usefulness of pressure groups as a valuable source of
information and expertise in helping them formulate policies. Governments will
often consult with insider groups to find out about problems with their current
policies along with suggestions for how this could be improved or to gauge
negative feedback to new policies. By consulting the insider groups, government can
also lend legitimacy to the policy. This is referred to as policy networking. (Jones,
2004 p237)
In complete contrast to insiders groups, outsider groups have no direct access to the
decision makers, as they do not fulfil the criteria laid down previously.

Demetrius And Helena In A Midsummer Night s Dream By...
In A Midsummer Night s Dream, William Shakespeare heavily expresses the distinct
characteristics of Demetrius and Helena through the direct and indirect
characterizations that affect them in the play.
Demetrius character is best emphasized, directly and indirectly, through the dialogue
and actions of himself and those around him. In Act One, Scene One, after Egeus
explains to King Theseus that he wants his daughter, Hermia, to marry Demetrius
instead of Lysander, Demetrius demands that Lysander relinquish his loveand control
over Hermia because marrying her is his certain right . After the demand, King
Theseus is reminded that Demetrius made love to...Helena and won her soul and that
Helena still devoutly dotes over him. In this scene, ... Show more content on

Helena is first introduced storming past Hermia and Lysander, being quick to
accuse Hermia of stealing Demetrius love from her. Helena s lengthy response, use
of exclamations, sarcastic and whiney tone, and admitted jealousy, portray her
perfectly. In fact, the audience better comes to understand the character in her
following monologue containing phrases such as: ...how happy some o er other
some can be! Through Athens I am thought to be as fair as she ; ...he hailed down
oaths that he was only mine... heat from Hermia...dissolved, and showers of oaths
did melt ; I will go tell him of fair Hermia s flight...if I have thanks, it is a dear
expense. This shows that Helena isn t just a jealous friend, but a hurt girl with low
self esteem; she is desperate to have love and happiness again to extent of giving
Demetrius what he wants at the expense of her friends wellbeing. Despite the late
hours, dangers of the night, and Demetrius annoyance with her, Hermia expresses
her desperation and relentless love for him by proclaiming ...you [Demetrius]
draw me, you hard hearted adamant , I love you the more , and ... spurn me, strike
me...only give me leave... to follow you . Humorously enough, even when
Demetrius does not grant Helena permission, she still devotedly follows him. Due
to the constant flow of insults and abuses from Demetrius, Helena s character is
pushed to the point where she wallows in self pity and despair as well as further
compare her darker, less attractive complexion to Hermia s. When Lysander
awakens under a love spell and professes his undying love for her, she runs away in
distress believing he is implementing a cruel joke on her. When Demetrius follows in
the same love struck manner, she becomes exasperated and falls further into her self
pity. Helena s tone even become satirical towards the two men and Hermia which not

Is Holden Caulfield Relevant Today
A popular read for teenagers, The Catcher in the Rye, written by J.D. Salinger,
follows Holden Caulfield during his time alone in New York City. During this time
he faces many challenges and makes difficult choices that help him mature. Although
The Catcher in the Rye was written in the 1940s, the novel still continues to be
relevant to today s adolescents. The Catcher in the Rye features issues that are
prevalent in modern times. Unfortunately, many teenagers face family problems
where someone falls ill. When Holden is thirteen, his brother Allie dies of leukemia.
Many years later, he still has Allie s baseball mitt and carries it around with him
(Salinger 43). According to Crisis Support, one of the common reactions some people

Even though technology has deeply taken hold of modern times, that doesn t
mean that the novel s meaning and themes are alien to the human race. For
example, Holden unknowingly suffers from depression. While he is in New York,
he reads a magazine about cancer, and It said if you had any sores in your mouth
that didn t heal pretty quickly, it was a sign that you probably had cancer. I d had
this sort on the inside of my lip for about two weeks. So figured I was getting
cancer (215). According to Help Guide, a common symptom of depression is a
sense of hopelessness. As shown on page 215, Holden feels like he has cancer
without a doubt, which is one of the many occurrence of his depression. Nowadays,
9.5% of teens are affected by depression, in contrast to only 6% in 1955 (
Depression: Some Astounding Statistics and What You Should Do If You or a
Loved One Is Confronting It ). Although this unfortunate increase is saddening,
this drastic jump in numbers can partially be explained by the excessive use of
technology. 32% of teens who use social media and cellphones for more than
sixteen hours a day tend to be unhappy more often, as opposed to the 22% of teens
who use technology fewer than three hours a day (the ERIAL Project). Because of
the excessive use of technology, more teens are sad or depressed, meaning that more
people are able to relate to Holden s problems. Therefore, The Catcher
Sorority Girl Stereotypes
Target Audience In this memo, I will discuss the stereotypes of sorority girls do to
the public and media. Also, I will discuss what sorority girls believe in and what
they do in their chapters. I created a Sororities Life PSA to target market girls who
are afraid of joining a sorority because of false accusations they hear and see about
Greek life. I chose this PSA because I was one of those girls who were afraid of
joining a sorority because of all the negative effects it had. Stereotypes vs. Reality
This PSA was to stop people from judging girls who are in sororities. To this day,
we have professors, students, and many others who believe that we Greeks are up
to no good, party all the time, don t take school seriously and think we are better
than everyone else. Right below I will talk about important viewpoints the PSA
video had. The images I chose were pictures I found online under sorority girl
stereotypes. These images represented the negative effect sorority girls are believed
to have. The first song played was Promiscuous by Nelly Furtado, which was one of
the negative stereotypes sorority girls are known for. Many believe that life of a

Monster By Walter Dean Myers Essay
The novel Monster by Walter Dean Myers is the book I chose to read and do my
essay on. The genre Walter chose for the book Monster is realistic fiction. The novel
was published in 1999 which is a year after I was borning. The reason why I chose
this Novel is because a teacher recommended the book to me a couple year ago but, I
never got a chance to read it. I always assumed the book was good because it won
three awards. The first award the book won was the National Book Award for
young people s literature. The second award the book won was the Michael L.
Printz Awards. The third award the book won was called the Coretta Scott King
Award Honor all in which the book won in the same year 2000. The book is told
from the perspective of a young african americanteenager named steve harmon.
Steve lives in harlem where the story takes place. One night steve chose to hang
with a bad group of friends and was in a robbery. During the robbery one of Steve s
friend kills the cashier. Now Steve is in jail and going back and forth to court
hoping to be proven not guilty of felony murder. Steve and I lives are alike in many
different ways although we come from different backgrounds.
In the beginning of the story everyone views steve as a monster. ... Show more

The reason why is because there really isn t much you can do about it except maybe
sleep everyday away. I think writing down everything that happens day by day is a
good way and a fun way to deal with this type of situation. If you write down what
happens day by day you can always go back to it just to reminisce. You may even
want to make it into a book or even a movie in the future. Steve also stayed to himself
in jail and didn t make really make any new friends. I would also stay to myself
because I feel like most people in jail are nothing but trouble. I feel like the people in

In the case of the California s Corcoran State Prison the prisoners were being

Tate and his cellmate fought against two rival Hispanic gang member. Tate death was

The correctional officer chose to become whistle Blowers after the death of inmate

However, the correctional officers main allegations was of brutality that the

when to use it. This created a much higher risk of inmates getting hurt because all the

Life, Death, and the Political Issues Surrounding Abortion
Life, Death, and the Political
issues surrounding Abortion
Few issues have embodied such controversy as abortion has. The various people
involved in the abortion debate not only have strong beliefs, but each group has a
self appeal that clearly reflects what they believe to be the essential issues. The
abortion supporters see individual choice as central to the debate: If a woman cannot
choose to terminate an unwanted pregnancy, a condition which affects her body and
possibly her entire life, then she has lost one of her most basic human rights. These
issues of abortion believe that while a fetus is a potential life, its life cannot be
placed on the same level with that of a woman. On the other side, the anti abortionist

The argument over abortion has avoided the real issue facing today s woman, her
need to grow beyond stereotypes. Whenever an individual or group realizes it has
been treated unjustly, the first reaction is anger, but often the anger is firs
expressed as aggression. People outgrowing oppression have so much built up
inside, so many memories of powerlessness, and so little knowledge of how to
make themselves be heard. Violence towards others usually end up as the result.
American men and women are among the most fair minded, but have slowly
begun to feel that 4,000 abortions a day is enough. The abortion mentality has
encouraged women to think of themselves as victims. Much emphasis is placed on
pregnancy as a result of rape, even though the statistics show only about .1% of all
rapes actually resulting in conception. That means that a large majority of
pregnancies that resulted in abortion were the result of free choice. The
assumption is that a woman does not have control over her own body until after a
male partner is finished with it. Why is that? Where is their sense of pride? Maybe
they re just looking at responsibilities as well as rights, and choosing instead of
reacting. Pro choice supporters argue that abortion should be viewed as not be
immoral, and sometimes a necessary choice a woman must make in order to be in
charge of her life. Considering pregnancy from a woman s point of view, it can be
very dangerous to
The Installation of Technology in Sport Stadium Essay
Goal! The fans rise in celebration as the ball crosses the line. Or does it? The ball
was just over the line according to the referee. However, technology says otherwise.
Over the years, there have been many controversial calls in all sports. Human
referees have always made mistakes. It has been debated whether technology should
take over refereeing. Some argue that technology will improve the accuracy of calls
in sports, while others claim that it will remove from the human aspect in sports.
Technology should not be used instead of referees in sports, because it is costly to
operate, occupies more time during matches, and takes away from the human element
of sports.

Introducing technology to sports would result in frequent stoppages during games,
and would take away from the excitement of the matches.
Although many argue that technology will make decisions in sports more accurate,
it is believed that human error actually makes sports more exciting. Errors made by
referees can create make games more engaging for viewers and fun to watch. Next,
technology puts a lot of pressure on referees to make correct calls. Refereeing is a
stressful job by itself, and technology would put more stress on referees. Fans,
because of available technology, will begin to lose respect for referees if they
make mistakes. In addition, sports are a human activity, and should remain this way.
FIFA general secretary Jerome Valcke says that, we should trust and keep football as
a human game ( Goal line... ). Also, introduction of technology into sports would
miss a huge opportunity to educate people about the role of uncertainty in science
(Pielke). Lastly, use of technology would increase the risk of hacking and fake video
footage (Pielke). In conclusion, human error is an essential part of sports, and
eliminating mistakes by introducing technology would make sports less exciting and
appealing.
Technology should not be used in refereeing in sports, since it is time occupying,
requires a lot of funds to manage, and takes away the element of human error from
sports. Referee errors do not make a sport less
European Union Policies and the Czech Republic
Czech Republic has gone through two major transformations in less than eleven
years. In 1993, what was formerly known as Czechoslovakia, split into two separate
countries. Both Czech Republic and Slovakia joined the European Union in 2004
along with eight other nations. Two EU policy issues that affected or continue to
affect Czech Republic were the adoption of the euro and ratification of the Lisbon
Treaty of 2009. Czech Republic s president is anti EU and this plays a significant
role in showing that it is important who is in power. One of the major requirements a
candidate country must have in order to join the European Unionis a democratic
government. Czechoslovakia had a rather tumultuous journey towards democracy,

The majority of countries adopted the euro after joining the European Union.
However, Czech Republic has continued to use their currency, the Czech koruna or
Czech crown, since 1993 (Taus Bolstad 2003, p.68). Both the head of the state and
head of government oppose adopting the euro. There have been discussions
regarding the date of euro adoption in Czech Republic. Every date previously
proposed has passed and the integration of the euro in Czech society has been put on
hold.
According to the Czech National Bank website, the euro will only be adopted when
Czech Republic meets the criteria set in the Maastricht Treaty and when the Czech
economy is aligned with those of Eurozone members ( The Czech Republic s
Intergration, n.d.). Furthermore, Czech Republic will be looking at how Eurozone
members manage the economic crisis. JiЕ™Г Rusnok, former Minister of Industry
and Trade, believes 2015 is a realistic date of euro adoption (Kovanda, 2008). Since
President Klaus was elected for a five year term in 2008 and has an anti EU stance,
it is not realistic that the adoption of the euro will happen under his leadership
(Taus Bolstad 2003, p.37; Kovanda, 2008). The failure to adopt the euro currency
can be seen as a reflection on the Czech sentiment. According to a 2011 Centre for

Speech On Herbal Medicine
Over the past few decades, herbal drugs have become more popular among the
people in the world. A regular and widespread use of herbs throughout the world
has increased serious concerns over their quality, safety and efficacy. Further about
80% of world population depends on herbal preparations for primary healthcare
needs. In many developed countries, 70 to 80 per cent of the populations have used
some form of complementary or alternative medicines composed primarily of herbal

Symbolism In Trifles By Susan Glaspell
The short story Trifles by the author Susan Glaspell, she writes about a woman who
may or may not have murdered her husband because she felt as though he was to
blame for her boring life. The women in the play, Mrs. Hale and Mrs. Peters, are
the ones solving the murder, while the men, the county attorney and sheriff, and are
questioning things also trying to figure things out. In this story there was a lot of
symbolism used as clues to show Mrs. Wright way of knowing that only the women
she knew may be the only ones to figure out. The objects that were used as well
known symbols were Mrs. Wright s apron, the quilt, and bird. The first example of
symbolism seen in the playis that Mrs. Wright was going to knot the quilt .... Show

When the investigators were going through the kitchen looking for evidence they
came across Mrs. Wright s food that had frozen and gone bad. Later when the
women were alone in the kitchen Mrs. Hale noticed that there was one jar of
cherries that were still good. The single jar of cherries that was not broken, may
symbolize the one and only remaining clue/ secret, the motive to complete the
investigators case. The jar represents Mrs. Wright and how she stayed on the shelf,
alone and befriended on the farm, until the darkness of her marriage, her life in
general, fell apart. This shows that Mrs. Wright s secrets were out from all the
pressure. She could no longer take living with Mr. Wright because she was too
lonely and sad. The only people who came to understand this were the other women
because of the female bond that most women have. The similarities between Trifles
and Legally Blonde underline the continuity in women s issues: the importance of
sisterhood, the need to provide options for the disadvantaged or abused women, and
the destructive potential of the devaluation of women by men (Marsh 3). A
relationship that a woman has with another woman is important so that the fact that
Mrs. Wright didn t just tell the others is shocking, that Elle was defending Mrs.
Windham is the right thing only if she really is innocent. Mrs. Wright s crime was
not only that she killed a man in this case her
The Second Sex Simone De Beauvoir Essay
It may be possible to imagine a place where no one would make a fuss over the
differences between a white or a black man, but unfortunately, it is likely impossible
to imagine a society that would not comment on the differences between a man and a
woman (Heinämaa, 127). Simone de Beauvoir was quite determined to give society
a glimpse into what it meant to be a womanwithin her time period, and did so by
writing her novel The Second Sexwhich brought many controversial topics to light.
There are four concepts I will be mentioning in different sections of this paper, and it
is best to know how Beauvoir personally defines these terms. Firstly, alienation refers
to the action of projecting oneself into a different person or object, thereby losing all
responsibility for yourself (Moi,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Lastly, femininity refers to behavioural activities or interests that are assigned to the
female sex, such as cleaning and cooking (Beauvoir, 617). Although many critics
have read her text and become confused due to her stylistic choice to fuse her voice
with the voices of famous men, it can be said that the text ultimately leads the
reader to begin to question what society sees as a woman (Zerilli, 1 2). Despite
Beauvoir s The Second Sex appearing to recognize the oppression of women
throughout the world without giving an actual solution, I will argue that Beauvoir s
evaluation of each natural aspect of female oppression allows readers to recognize
that the only thing holding themselves back as a woman is society s unnatural
definition of their body, relation to men, and personal freedoms. Of course, when it
comes to one s freedom, it is difficult to obtain when your body feels like a

In 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne, three men are captured by a
captain the forces them on an underwater adventure. Captain Nemo uses his

Coal is most thought of as a land resource, and because he can get it underwater he
doesn t have to get it from land. Back in the 1860s the ocean was not a very
discovered place, so Nemo could go there without being discovered. Nemo says on

piece of technology Nemo uses is his submarine, the Nautilus. The Nautilus protects

depth it does. Also, the electricity in the hatches shoots people backwards even if
they do get on top. on page 192 it says, ... was thrown back by some invisible force.
Even if men did open the hatches it was still impossible for people to get in. Also

Why to Select Third Party Tools to Manage Server and...
Microsoft has equipped the organizations with the Windows server operating system
and other server tools like Exchange Server, SQL Server, SharePoint Server, etc. In
addition, there are inbuilt server tools like DNS Server, DHCP Server, File Server,
and Active Directory to create a complete networking infrastructure inside an

Microsofttools become obsolete at a level. In this blog post, we ll discuss how these
tools fail to serve the purpose and why the need of using third party tools arises.

1.Managing Users in Large Organizations
Let us suppose a case of a large organization has fifty different departments, each of
which contains hundreds of employees segregated on different positions. A large IT
helpdesk of at least 70 or more members is at least required to meet the IT
requirements in this case. Suppose the IT staff is required to create the user accounts
of 200 new users who ve to join in the different departments next week, audit 300
users of five departments, and to keep a check on the file modifications on the file
server to trace the unauthorized accesses to the sensitive data. How much time will
they take for these three tasks? Almost three to four weeks, but the management
wants them to complete this task in four days without a hit to the daily demands of
troubleshooting the computers, managing the networks, seeing the logon/logoff, and
other work. Is it possible? The

The Ingenious Gentleman, Don Quixote de la Mancha was written by Miguel de

and as Cervantes jokingly predicted in Part II Chapter III, In short, I feel certain that
there will soon not be a nation that does not know it or a language into which it has
not been translated. Since Cervantes died within six months of the completion of his
novel, he didn t get to see his prediction come to fruition in his lifetime, though
recently The Guardian reported that Don Quixotehas been voted the best novel of all

The Diversity Of The Workforce
Today when you look at our country you think of it a somewhat of a melting pot or
a mixed and diverse population. When you look at the populations, even in small
towns you see multiple different races and cultures. This then leads to our
workforce where you see that same type of diverse culture entering the workforce in
the communities they live in and the ones around them. Our workforce hasn t only
changed to multicultural, it also has more and more woman as well.. If we look
back 50 years you see that woman and individuals with a raceother than caucasian
had a very hard time finding a place where they would be welcomed in the
workforce. Today woman, our international population, and races other than
caucasian are finding the task of working to be a little easier. (Older Workers,
2008) Today we have programs in high schools and college that allow international
students to go to college, work, and live here with an overall acceptance from
Americans. Our diverse population also includes the age that we work. With
improved healthcare and the advances in technology, men and women are working
well into their senior years. Some may debate that it is because they have to with our
declining economy, but the fact still remains that they are able to continue in the
workforce. With all of these factors it is very important that we work together to
improve our communication abilities through our school building by using the
application of diverse skills (Linn, 2013).

A History Of The World In 6 Glasses Analysis
From the first living creatures to modern day homo sapiens, we all have at least one
thing in common: the way that drinks affect survival, culture, and day to day life.
Water is not the only drink that humans have become, in a sense, reliant on over
time, as shown in Tom Standage s novel A History of the World in 6 Glasses .
Standage states, other than water, that beer, wine, spirits, coffee, tea, and Coca Cola
greatly shape the events of our world s history. Beer has been around since the time
of the hunter gatherers in Egypt and Mesopotamia, otherwise known as the Fertile
Crescent. Around 10,000 BCE, these hunter gatherers used crushed up wheat and
barley to add to food, such as soup, and stored it for long periods of time. The first

  • 2. Renzo Piano As A Approach To Architecture Renzo Piano was born September 14, 1937 in Genoa, Italy, To a family of Genoese builders. He graduated from the school of Architecture, Milan Polytechnic in 1964. He later expressed dissatisfaction with the academic approach to architecture, describing it as without rebellion . During his studies he was working under the guidance of Franco Albini, his spare time was spent working steadily at his fathers construction company. This is where he developed an inspiring love for the architecture. After graduation, he was initially employed by his father s construction company before collaborating with Louis Kahn in the United States and Z.S. This building was designed to house some of the worlds most exquisite modern art, so naturally the design had to be modern. It is constructed mostly of high tech steel and glass, with a beautifully designed exoskeleton adding to its complexion (Renzo Piano Building Workshop Official Site). Renzo Piano has designed and brought to life so many structures all over the world. Some of his most famous include Kansai, the world s largest air terminal in Osaka Bay, Japan, where Piano proved himself a master of the gigantic project and again with the imposing Bercy Shopping Center in Paris, as well as a massive and beautiful National Science Museum in Amsterdam. His soccer stadium in Bari, Italy is like no other in the world, with its great swaths of blue sky interrupting the usual monotony of stadium seating. His versatility is displayed further in such projects as the beautiful sweep of a nearly one thousand foot long bridge that curves across Ushibuka Bay in Southern Japan, with the design of a 70,000 ton luxury ocean liner (Great Buildings On line). In 1998 Piano was selected as the Laureate of the Pritzker Architecture
  • 3. Bilingual Vs. Foreign Language Skills Essay Final Paper In today s increasingly globalized world, the ability to speak a second or multiple languages provides a wide range of benefits. Since people who have foreign language skills surely spent much time not only in studying the language itself but also in engaging with its culture, they can see things from other different perspectives, not from a single perspective. The latest study actually shows that bilingual children are more capable of understanding others perspectives than those who speak only one language(Whyte, 2016). Moreover being multilingual can also prevent Alzheimer s and other diseases that affect the brain. In the international business world, workers who can speak foreign languages have more flexibility to choose their jobs than monolingual workers. Foreign languageskills allow people to communicate with each other and to negotiate more successfully. Foreign language skills also can be a useful tool to fill a gap between different cultures, which leads to the success in building a good business relationships. English is the accepted first language of international business, and because of this, Americans may feel foreign language is unnecessary. However, Americans who lack foreign language skills will face competition for jobs as more and more well educated graduates who are multilingual from Europe, China, India, and many other countries are entering the global job market. The United States is a monolingual nation. In this increasingly

It will also explore the competition and interdependence of the characters; a personal view of the economies of each species and the final point will explain some similarities between the movie and real life historical and modern day events. The Relationship Formed Ethics describes the principles or standards of human conflict. In the case of the movie, the standards between Draag and Om. In the movie the viewer is introduced to the Draags, blue alien beings and the Oms, the humans. Immediately we see some sort of human conflict emerging. Since the Draags are fairly larger in size than the Oms, the Oms are belittled and treated as pets. This... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... To me it was clear that the Draags were in control of everything. They owned the Oms. The Oms on the other hand have no choice but to confirm to the ways of the Draags. They re smaller and have little to offer, nor do they possess any weapons to fight with. Terr who is an Om, becomes a pet of a Draag girl but soon escapes from his Draag host and joins a league with the wild Oms who are hidden in an abandon Draag park. Here the Oms are independent and fend for themselves. They even learn for the first time, gaining new knowledge to broaden their intelligence spectrum. Making them aware of the urgency to flee the Draags planet and to move to a new artificial planet called Terr. The new palnet was named after the Om, Terr, who later becomes the saviour for all Oms. In terms of being independent the Oms needed the Draags for their food and intelligent feeding head band. This head band helped the Oms to gain knowledge. They learnt to read and write for the first time. The Draags also needed the Oms for a place to reside peacefully, without any chance of another war. I thought that it came across that both species depended on one another and that the Oms really weren t that necessary for the

Since then every dress I buy is a strapless empire waist dress and I plan on keeping it that way. I want my wedding dress to be crГЁme with lots of lace and a vintage type feel as well as floor length with a short train. I also plan on being barefoot, because the odds of my husband being that much taller than me that I need to wear heels is slim to none. Plus, I have never actually worn heels in my life and I do not plan on starting anytime soon. I also want some type of maroon colored flowers to go with our color scheme. I also like the idea of having pinecones or ivy tied into the bouquets, I m an outdoorsy person and would like to have that showing throughout the wedding. As for the men I think a maroon and orange type lily would look good in there pockets. My bridesmaids will have bouquet s that look close to mine, but not as big. I do not want to be over looked after all. As for attendant gifts, I plan on giving the bridesmaids and the groomsmen some sort of little gift. For the groomsmen probably a nice shaving kit with there initials on it or something, so they do not look scruffy and homeless during the wedding. As for the bridesmaids I m not one of those people who would write on cute little mugs will you hold my dress while pee? or whatever. That s not really my taste. I will probably give them nail polish to match the wedding colors or take them for a manicure so they all have nice manicured hands with the right colors for the wedding. Most of my friends are always outside and their hands look like crap which I don t necessarily want for the wedding. For everyone who attends the wedding I plan on just having decorative cake boxes that people can take filled with wedding cake. That way it will be
  • 7. The Stop And Frisk Policy Patrol officers spend numerous hours a day patrolling the streets; many of these hours are used executing the Stop and Frisk Policy. The Stop and Frisk Policy has caused a lot of controversy nationwide. Recently there have been many cases where the Stop and Frisk Policy has resulted in the death of an unarmed individual, typically an African Americanmale. On July 17, 2014, Eric Gardner died while being arrested for selling individual cigarettes. The policeused the Stop and Frisk Policy because they had reasonable suspicion. While police were arresting Garner an officer placed him in a choke hold, while three other man were attempting to take him down as well. The officer that had him in the choke hold ended his life. This incident was caught on camera and caused a lot of controversy because the officer that had him in the choke hold was found innocent by the grand jury (Mathias, 2014, p. 1). Although it has been proven that the Stop and Frisk Policy has prevented some crime, the communities reaction to it demonstrates that the policy creates a negative impact in communities where this policy is implemented. Many individuals feel that this policy is a violation of the Fourth Amendment right, is typically only used on minorities, and is very ineffective. Stop and frisk is a practice that permits a police officer to stop any individual if the officer has reason to believe criminal activity may be afoot (Fallon, 2013, p. 321). There are many cases that ruled in favor

Although their images differ, what do all these poets seem to be saying about time? Be specific when referring to the poems. The imagery is very different, but all of the poems and poets seem to be saying time is important in life. In Shakespeare s Sonnet 18 he says, And every fair from fair sometime declines, when explaining the inevitable decline in appearance of his friend (Line 7). In Shakespeare s Sonnet 29 he says, I all alone beweep my outcast state, suggesting that he regrets the decisions he has made in his life and might have made different decisions if he was given... Although she deliberately states that she will not judge his actions one way or the other, this is the only play she vocally states that judgment is needed, thus her implication of his disagreeable actions. The irony with this belief is that she is clearly anti slavery, but alludes to women following their husbands rather than having a say in important decisions. For instance, when Tuscan informs Oroonoko that his wife and children may not be fit to escape through the mountains and woods Oroonoko says, if there were a woman among them so degenerate from love and virtue to choose slavery before the pursuit of her husband, and with the hazard of her life to share with him in his fortunes, that such a one out to be abandoned (2217). This is interesting because Behn has had personal experience with being oppressed as a result of her gender, yet in this story she condemns slavery while the hero degrades women. 4. Jonathan Swift outlines two main points for those who find fault with his proposal to consider. • 10. Snow s Day In London Chapter Summary The story takes place during an epidemic outbreak that spread rapidly as well as vigorously. Steven Johnson begins the book in London during the nineteenth century (1854). The book discusses the contaminated conditions in England. More than two million people were living within a 10 mile radius. In particular, he starts by painting a picture of the lower class. He calls them rag gatherers, deredgermen, bone pickers, myud larks, night soil men, and more. The main character in the story is a man named Dr. John Snow. While everyone is convinced that people are dying because of the terrible smell, Snow spends his time trying to prove that the smell isn t what s killed people. He didn t know it at first, but research and proof supporting his research proved time and time again that it was a bigger deal than smell. In his book, Johnson says, Great breakthroughs are closer to what happens in a floodplain: a dozen separate tributaries converge, and the rising waters lift the genius high enough that he or she can see around the conceptual obstructions of the age. (pg. 149). His belief was that cholera, a disease commonly spread through water is what s causing all the deaths. Johnson gives the reader a view of Snow s day to day efforts of proving himself. The Ghost Map tells a story of a very innovative time. Dr. Snow and Reverend Whitehead were able to work together to identify a disease and its source without having any modern

Frost s neighbor, like the neighbor in the poem, always believed in the same saying good fences make good neighbors. The only major difference between the poem and Frost s actual experiences is that in the poem the farmer and his neighbor had orchards, while Frost had a poultry farm ( History ). This proves that everything he wrote had an impact on the literary world and what he wrote was important too. Furthermore, Frost was nominated for the Nobel Prize in 1950 and was close to winning it again in 1961, but failed to win it because of his advanced age (Kainzow). To be so close to winning one of the most recognized awards at the age of 86, further proves his significance in the literary canon. Frost was so important to the literary world that Poet Society of America named an award after him. The Robert Frost Medal is awarded to poets for their distinguished lifetime achievement in American poetry ( Frost ). In 1960 Frost was presented with the Congressional Gold Medal, which is the highest award an American civilian can win. President John F. Kennedy presented him with the award in 1960 and a year later President Kennedy asked Frost to recite a poem at his inauguration (Biography). Frost recited The Gift Outright but because his vision was begging to fail he had to memorize the poem. This shows just how popular Frost was, and how well respect he was too. Frost s importance to the literary canon can be shown by more than the awards he has won. Frost was able to reach a large and diversified readership (Caravantes), unlike poets like Shakespear whose work can be found harder to read and comprehend, Frost s work consisted of colloquial language which allowed him to be able to speak in poetic but plain language

A person with asthma has bronchial tubes that are super sensitive to various stimuli, or triggers, that can produce asthma symptom. In other words, asthmatics have special sensitivity that causes their lung tissue to react far more than is should to various stimulating factors or triggers. For this reason, people with asthma are said to have quot;twitchy airways. quot; Some symptoms that people with asthma commonly experience are chesttightenings, difficulty inhaling and exhaling, wheezing, production of large amounts of mucous in their windpipes and coughing.Coughing can be frequent or intermittent, and can be... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... To make matters worse, mucous enters the narrowed bronchial tubes and plugs them up, causing a further decrease in air flow. The bronchial tubes seem to close down, and air moving through these narrowed breathing passages can cause wheezing which is a high pithched whistlelike sound. Wheezing can be loud enough to be heard across a room, or it can be so slight that is takes a stethoscope to hear it. Airflow obstructions leads to air trapping in lungs. Once trapped, stale air builds up in the lungs.Asthma attacks can be so mild they re hardly noticed or so severe that asthmatics can feel like they re suffocating. Although more attacks seem to occur at night, they can virtually happen anytime. Attacks may come on very suddenly, or they may develop slowly over a period of hours or days.Among other contributing factors, asthmatics have an imbalance in their autonomic nervous system that controls the reactivity of their windpipes. The imbalance causes their windpipes to become over reactive to many different stimulating factors, or triggers. An asthmatic trigger can be any stimulus that brings about or sets off asthma symptoms.Asthma triggers vary widely among asthmatics. The most common triggers are allergies, irritating substances such as dust, fumes, odors and vapors. Environmental factors, including weather changes and air

This led me to wonder just how difficult it was mathematically, and how much previous periods affected the final one. In this project, I will investigate whether the scores at the end of the first period affect the final score of NHL games. The formula on the right is the formula of the line of best fit. As can be observed from these plots, teams who win at the end of the first period have a much larger range of data, with 26 separate points versus 14 separate points on Team B s graph. Since the scatter plot does not use a thicker dot when numerous teams share one place on the plot, this suggests that teams who lose at the end of the first period tend to have similar scores, as they have twelve fewer points than teams who win. If a team loses in the first period, this means that its X range must be smaller than that of the winning team. Since 9/26, or almost 35%, of Team A s points are on 3 or 4 on the X axis, it is logical for Team A to have a larger range. However, even disregarding 3 and 4 on the X axis, Team A s range is still larger than that of Team B s. There is a greater spread of data on the Y axis of Team A, as well. Note that when Team A scores one goal in the first period, there are instances of them ending the third period with five or six goals. However, when Team B scores one goal in the first period, the most goals they ended up with is only four. This pattern is repeated when the teams score two goals in the first period. With Team A, there are instance(s) when they end up with seven; with

  • 16. The Causes Of Climate Change Climate change is a major issue that has been gaining political debate over the past few decades. According to Britain s former Chief Scientific Advisor David King, climate change is the most severe problem we are facing today more serious even than the threat of terrorism (Worldwatch.org). Research shows that the overall temperature of the earth s atmosphere has been increasing at an alarming rate. This change has not only sparked the rapid melting of polar ice caps, which are subsequently raising sea levels, but it is also believed to be the cause of extreme weather patterns such as heat waves, droughts, and most recently, hurricanes. With the rise of sea levels being coupled with warmer temperatures, ideal conditions are created for hurricanes to not only form, but also greatly intensify. The general understanding many researchers have is that climatechange is at least partially caused by human activity. Where the difference in opinions emerge, is how great of an effect humans have on global warming. In August 2017, Hurricane Harvey struck a devastating blow to Houston (The Weather Channel). The effects of the storm were unprecedented; both with the amount of lives lost as well as economic damage. With Вј of U.S. refineries still working to get back to full strength, officials are scrambling in search of what measures can be taken against the severe effects of climate change. This leads us to several big questions: what is the cause of global warming, and more

Carbon monoxide (CO) can cause harmful effects on human health as it reduces the oxygen supply to various organs of the body. Exposure to lower levels of carbon monoxide is very serious for those who suffer from heart disease and can cause chest pain while recurrent exposure may contribute to additional cardiovascular disease. Even healthy people can be affected by high levels of carbon monoxide. People who breathe in high levels of carbon monoxide can develop vision problems, reduce the ability to work or learn, reduce the manual ability, and difficulty in performing complicated tasks. He received his education at the University of Konigsberg where he obtained his Ph.D. in 1755 (McCormick, 2017). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... People s ability to make decisions happens because they possess rationality or reason (Beauchamp, 1982: 121). Morality and reasoning go hand in hand because they share certain characteristics (Beauchamp, 1982: 117). Morality is universal, and so is reason (Beauchamp, 1982: 117). Being moral or rational, does not stop applying to an individual just because they do not care for morality or rationality, this makes them categorical (Beauchamp, 1982: 117). Neither morality nor rationality depends on what we want (Beauchamp, 1982: 122). A universal law is a law that everyone must abide by; there are no exceptions for a certain person (Ellington, 1981: iv). For example when something is a universal law, even the president must abide by this law. Kant also states that an individual should Act in such a way that you treat humanity, whether in your own person or in the person of another, always at the same time as an end and never simply as a means (Beauchamp, 1982: 123). For example when an individual goes to a shop to buy their groceries, there is cashier there to help. The cashier is there at your disposal, you use the cashier to pay for the food you bought, and you use her to obtain what you want. What Kant is saying is that just because you are using the cashier to get what you want, you should not feel the need not to treat the person with the respect and moral dignity that they deserve. Just because they are carrying out a task for you, you do not have to disrespect their essence (Beauchamp, 1982: 124). This also applies to people that volunteer to test a new drug that has been discovered. The person doing the testing has to treat the person with the respect and dignity that they deserve, not as a mere object. Lerato is going to need the help of her doctor to be

  • 35. Demetrius And Helena In A Midsummer Night s Dream By... In A Midsummer Night s Dream, William Shakespeare heavily expresses the distinct characteristics of Demetrius and Helena through the direct and indirect characterizations that affect them in the play. Demetrius character is best emphasized, directly and indirectly, through the dialogue and actions of himself and those around him. In Act One, Scene One, after Egeus explains to King Theseus that he wants his daughter, Hermia, to marry Demetrius instead of Lysander, Demetrius demands that Lysander relinquish his loveand control over Hermia because marrying her is his certain right . Helena s lengthy response, use of exclamations, sarcastic and whiney tone, and admitted jealousy, portray her perfectly. Through Athens I am thought to be as fair as she ; ...he hailed down oaths that he was only mine... heat from Hermia...dissolved, and showers of oaths did melt ; I will go tell him of fair Hermia s flight...if I have thanks, it is a dear expense. This shows that Helena isn t just a jealous friend, but a hurt girl with low self esteem; she is desperate to have love and happiness again to extent of giving Demetrius what he wants at the expense of her friends wellbeing. Despite the late hours, dangers of the night, and Demetrius annoyance with her, Hermia expresses her desperation and relentless love for him by proclaiming ...you [Demetrius] draw me, you hard hearted adamant , I love you the more , and ... spurn me, strike me...only give me leave... to follow you . Humorously enough, even when Demetrius does not grant Helena permission, she still devotedly follows him. Due to the constant flow of insults and abuses from Demetrius, Helena s character is pushed to the point where she wallows in self pity and despair as well as further compare her darker, less attractive complexion to Hermia s. When Lysander awakens under a love spell and professes his undying love for her, she runs away in distress believing he is implementing a cruel joke on her. When Demetrius follows in the same love struck manner, she becomes exasperated and falls further into her self pity. Violence towards others usually end up as the result. American men and women are among the most fair minded, but have slowly begun to feel that 4,000 abortions a day is enough. The abortion mentality has encouraged women to think of themselves as victims. Much emphasis is placed on pregnancy as a result of rape, even though the statistics show only about .1% of all rapes actually resulting in conception. That means that a large majority of pregnancies that resulted in abortion were the result of free choice. Even if men did open the hatches it was still impossible for people to get in. Also the Nautilus can explore places that other ships can not reach. One example is, No, not over it, but under it... Things you can do with an ordinary ship become easy with the Nautilus. This means that the Nautilus is very ahead of its

Microsoft has equipped the organizations with the Windows server operating system and other server tools like Exchange Server, SQL Server, SharePoint Server, etc. In addition, there are inbuilt server tools like DNS Server, DHCP Server, File Server, and Active Directory to create a complete networking infrastructure inside an organization. However, the server and networking management using the traditional Microsofttools become obsolete at a level. In this blog post, we ll discuss how these tools fail to serve the purpose and why the need of using third party tools arises. Scenarios 1.Managing Users in Large Organizations Let us suppose a case of a large organization has fifty different departments, each of which contains hundreds of employees segregated on different positions. A large IT helpdesk of at least 70 or more members is at least required to meet the IT requirements in this case. Suppose the IT staff is required to create the user accounts of 200 new users who ve to join in the different departments next week, audit 300 users of five departments, and to keep a check on the file modifications on the file server to trace the unauthorized accesses to the sensitive data. How much time will they take for these three tasks? Almost three to four weeks, but the management wants them to complete this task in four days without a hit to the daily demands of troubleshooting the computers, managing the networks, seeing the logon/logoff, and other work. Is it possible? The

The book quickly gained esteem, and as Cervantes jokingly predicted in Part II Chapter III, In short, I feel certain that there will soon not be a nation that does not know it or a language into which it has not been translated. Since Cervantes died within six months of the completion of his novel, he didn t get to see his prediction come to fruition in his lifetime, though recently The Guardian reported that Don Quixotehas been voted the best novel of all time in a poll of 100 of the most highly regarded modern authors (2002). With this in mind, Don Quixote really is a must read; Cervantes s biographer, Aubrey... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Throughout the novel Sancho is often referred to, by Cervantes and by other characters, as dim witted. Sancho even points this out himself on occasion. However, as the novel progresses, his wit, cunning, and lucid decision making save the day on multiple occasions. In the first part of the book Sancho truly behaves like a simpleton, buying into his master s talk of enchantments, castles, and sorcerers. In this part, readers are introduced to a specific side of Sancho, just to Cervantes can dash that interpretation, albeit slowly dash that interpretation, in the second part of the novel, which can almost be considered a different novel altogether due to its difference in tone and

When you look at the populations, even in small towns you see multiple different races and cultures. This then leads to our workforce where you see that same type of diverse culture entering the workforce in the communities they live in and the ones around them. Our workforce hasn t only changed to multicultural, it also has more and more woman as well.. If we look back 50 years you see that woman and individuals with a raceother than caucasian had a very hard time finding a place where they would be welcomed in the workforce. Today woman, our international population, and races other than caucasian are finding the task of working to be a little easier. (Older Workers, 2008) Today we have programs in high schools and college that allow international students to go to college, work, and live here with an overall acceptance from Americans. Our diverse population also includes the age that we work. With improved healthcare and the advances in technology, men and women are working well into their senior years. Some may debate that it is because they have to with our declining economy, but the fact still remains that they are able to continue in the workforce. With all of these factors it is very important that we work together to improve our communication abilities through our school building by using the application of diverse skills (Linn, 2013). A.1.

A History Of The World In 6 Glasses Analysis From the first living creatures to modern day homo sapiens, we all have at least one thing in common: the way that drinks affect survival, culture, and day to day life. Water is not the only drink that humans have become, in a sense, reliant on over time, as shown in Tom Standage s novel A History of the World in 6 Glasses . Standage states, other than water, that beer, wine, spirits, coffee, tea, and Coca Cola greatly shape the events of our world s history. Beer has been around since the time of the hunter gatherers in Egypt and Mesopotamia, otherwise known as the Fertile Crescent. Around 10,000 BCE, these hunter gatherers used crushed up wheat and barley to add to food, such as soup, and stored it for long periods of time. The first settlements
