Comparison Between The Bacchae and The Medea
In Euripides The Bacchae and in the Medea, there are significant binary oppositions in both
plays. Binary opposition is the two opposite terms, such as good versus bad. Binary opposition is
used to present both sides of a contrast (Marvin, 1). In The Bacchae and the Medea, Euripides used
binary opposition to highlight the central themes. The significant binary oppositions that are used
are men versus women, foreigner versus citizen, and god versus man. The contrast between men
versus women is an important opposition in both plays. The women in the Greek society have no
control of their life; the men are in control (Barlow 159). In The BacchaeDionysusunderminded the
Greek society point view on women and empowers... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The binary opposition of man versus woman starts off strong, but Euripides switches the roles in
both plays. In The Bacchae the woman worship Dionysus. Pentheus disguises himself as a
woman, and goes off to view the women in the mountains, which is Dionysus plan the whole
time. Pentheus dresses up as a woman and admits to wanting to see the women up at the
mountains, and this goes against Pentheus anger at the beginning of the play (Bacchae 813 814).
In the end of the play the women overpower Pentheus and destroy him to pieces (Bacchae 1125
1140). This is an example of the women being controlling of their own actions and being
stronger than the men. In Medea the stereotype of the man and the woman switch. Medea is no
longer going to sit around and let every man walk all over her; she states in her speech that she
will take revenge on everybody that caused her misery (Medea 364 409). Barlow emphasizes on
the reversal of the stereotype, stating that Medea, is a woman, moreover, who simply refuses to
any longer to accept at any rate Greek female stereotypes unless to use them with calculation to
gain her own immediate ends (158). Medea reversing the stereotype is the reversal of man
controlling the woman, and this shows that woman as well have the power to control their own life.
Euripides also highlights how

To My Dear And Loving Husband By Elizabeth Bradstreet
Poem analysis term 3 2015 Topic: Love A question that is often asked by many people is why do
poets write? There is no definitive answer to the question, as not all poets write for the same
reason or are inspired to write for the same reason. Some write as a means of expressing their
feelings to an audience as they face hardships or exiting times in their life; other reasons can just
simply be a conglomeration of images, perspectives and ideas developed in their mind. With this
being said the overarching idea behind the greatest poems is to create a poem that people can
relate to, for not only in that time period, but for years to come, therefore creating a timeless piece
of art. One of the key components of creating such a piece is... Show more content on

The desired effect of this idea is to leave it open for interpretation and therefore creating a
response in the audience and a discussion of what the true message is that s hidden behind the
ink. The poem to my dear loving husband is generally thought to give the message that love is
everlasting, even after death. In the first stanza of the poem the author puts out a challenge to
other women to compare their love to hers as she states if ever wife is happy in a man, compare
with me, ye woman, if you can . This engages the reader to really see how their love or marriage
really does compare to what the author is saying. In the next stanza with the lines I prize thy
love more than whole mines of gold, or all the riches in the east doth hold . This is her saying
that her love is of much greater importance to her than that of wealth and power. In the final
stanza she talks of her love being a gift that she has been given and of which she doesn t believe
she deserves but is accepting and thankful for it anyway. In the poem How do I love thee the how
is really emphasised due to her only talking about how much she loves him without explaining why
through the entirety of the poem. From the very start of the poem the writer starts a list of all the
different ways she loves her husband or boyfriend. This, along with the use of the word

Empirical Formula Of Hydrate Lab
The primary of this lab is about the hydrate. The hydrate is a compound formed by an ionic bond
combined with the water molecule (known as water of hydration ) attached to it. So for every
formula unit, there would be some amount of water molecule combined with the ionic compound
and would act as a single compound. Our theoretical hydrate for this lab was CuSO4 * 5H2O. To
remove the water from the compound and get the mass of the ionic compound, you need to follow
the dehydrating procedure by heating. That would separate the ionic bond (CuSO4) from the water
molecule(5H2O) once it reaches certain decomposition temperature. And to physically determine
whether or not the water of hydration is removed, see the color, in our case, turning white from
blue. Once the water molecules have entirely evaporated, the mass left would be the weight of the
ionic compound (mass of CuSO4 in grams).... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The empirical formula is a similar molecular formula but in its simplified ratio. While
calculating, you need to find the percent of a part of the compound from the whole compound.
Then find the moles of each composition and then calculate mole to mole ratio between
copper(II) sulfate and water to achieve the possible empirical formula. But for the mole to mole
ratio to work, you need to know the law of definite proportions. It says that every chemical
compound would have certain proportion, by mass, of its composition and that ratio cannot be
changed. So for example a mole of water would always have 1 mole of Oxygen and 2 moles of

Book Report On The Secret Life Of Bees By Sue Monk Kidd
Elizabeth Nosek Nosek Page 17 26 2015 English, Summer Reading The Secret Life of Bees By:
Sue Monk Kidd The Secret Life of Bees by: Sue Monk Kidd was a book that really showed me
how African American people were actually treated in the early 1960s. How they could actually
be beaten just for not apologizing to a white person. They were treated very cruel by some
people, but, not by all people. Lily Owens was a young girl in the year 1964; who lived in South
Carolina. She loved African American people. She loved how interesting they were, and she
adored the stories they had to tell. Her best friend was an African American woman who worked
on her father s peach farm. That woman s name was Rosaleen, and she helped Lily feel better all
the time when she was sad. Especially, when her father abused her. Lily thought Rosaleen was her
only friend, until she ran away to a place called... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I loved how she always showed a love for everything and knew everything was living. I loved
how she lured roaches out of the house with graham crackers and marshmallows. I loved her
idea of the Wailing Wall where she could go and put papers of prayers for people in the wall. I
was entirely devastated when she committed suicide after finding out that her godson, Zach, had
been arrested for a race related matter. It seemed that after her twin, April, died when she was
very young, May had been carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders. So, she had to finally
let it all go. My least favorite character in the story was T. Ray. I hated the way he treated Lily and
everyone else in life. I especially hated when he made Lily kneel on the grits for an hour as a
punishment. Those grits had hurt Lily so bad that her knees had swollen up! I was very proud of
Lily when she ran away from him. He was very abusive to

The Visual Reflection Of The Discoursee Community Of A...
The visual argumentation that I ended up creating was revising the information from my discourse
community of a marching band paper and turning it into an infographic. It consists of six
components of a marching band that are named and briefly explained, as well as an image of an
instrument found in the marching bandthat correlates to that component. My visual argumentation
shows the revision of my discourse paper, has stayed fairly similar to what my design plan has
dictated, and followed the principles given through the CRAP design principles.
Through the revision process of my design, I decided to only use some of Swale s components of a
discourse community. My design details the components of a marching band that are apparent
while the band is performing because I felt that there were some discourse community components
that aren t as valuable for the audience to know to understand how a band works. I also chose this
because the performance is the most important part of a marching band, so the components
understood should be the ones that are shown in a performance. This is also why I choose to
include the connection a marching band has with its audience as a component even though it isn t
one of Swales components of a discourse community. Having been in a marching band myself I
know that it is essential for the band to be able to connect with their audience during a performance
so that their audience is entertained and enjoying their music. I feel like the focusing on

Semantic And Semantics
1.1. Statement of the problem.
English is the language commonly used in the world. In the trend of globalization today, the
importance of English can t be denied and ignored because it is widely used everywhere in the
world. If learners want to learn better English, they not only develop skills: listening, speaking,
reading, writing, but also should have knowledge of grammar and semantics.
One of the factors to learn good English that is semantics. Semantics helps the students to
understand the basic concepts of meaning of the words, sentences and utterance. Understanding the
meaning of the language is important in learning a language. Semantic roles decide the meaning of
the words and sentences.
However, in the elements of the English language, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Design School Application Essay
I am stuck in a rut and sense that my life is going nowhere rapidly. Having an idea of what I
aspired to study in college, I found even the silliest excuses of why I couldn t attend school.
Previously, I have been weary of the costs, not having much, if any, of a portfolio, along with
choosing an accredited school. Ultimately, after discovering how effortless the search is to find a
design school that fits my needs, I finally know in my heart it s now or never. I first chose to

Write An Essay On Asphalt Pavement
For many people, winter is the most delightful season of all. For your asphalt parking lot, however,
winter can be the cruelest season that it will face. It is not at all uncommon for property owners to
be shocked by the amount of damage that their parking lots incurred between autumn and spring.
Understanding how winter weather can affect your asphalt pavement can help you minimize winter
s impact.
Freezing Temperatures
One of the worst things for your asphalt pavement is the repeated cycles of freezing and thawing
that can occur during the winter. Asphalt contracts and expands as temperatures fluctuate, and as
long as no water penetration occurs, your pavement should survive the winter in good shape.
However, if there are cracks in the pavement, water ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Inexperienced ones, however, can set the blade too low, resulting in gouges in the pavement.
Results: In addition to marring the pavement s appearance, tearing out chunks of asphalt can give
water another way to penetrate beneath the pavement

parking lot
Chemicals Used to Melt Ice
Chemical deicers and salt can take a heavy toll on asphalt that is already beginning to deteriorate
as well as asphalt pavement that is not protected by sealcoating. Traditional rock salt usually will
not be effective at temperatures below 15 degrees, increasing the chances of water penetration when
the melted ice refreezes and thaws again.
Results: Larger cracks, potential alligator cracking, potholes
Prevention: If you must use a deicing chemical, consider choosing calcium magnesium acetate,
calcium chloride or magnesium chloride. If possible, use sand

How The Grinch Stole Christmas Research Paper
Dr. Seuss, written many books such as Green Eggs and Ham and How the Grinch Stole
Christmas, has portrayed many morals that can be understood. My favorite Dr. Seuss book is
How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It is my favorite book because it tells a tale about how the
mischievous Grinch (who hates Christmas) plots to steal Christmas from the Whos. At the end of
the book the Grinch realizes that there is more to Christmas then presents. It is also my favorite
book because it teaches me that you don t need presents to celebrate Christmas. You can still

Taliesin And Merlin
Merlin, the wizard with a giant pointy hat on his head, doing magical acts to please the crowd.
That is what Merlin has become today, a shadow of his meaning in the Arthurian legends. Another
misconception of the stories are the stories of Taliesin and Merlin. Most confuse either or some
mix both and make them into one. The beginnings or Merlin are confusing and muddled within
the stories. While Taliesin has a set story similar to that of Moses in the Bible. Merlin appears in
history under many hats, none of which include the giant blue pointy hat with stars that we all
know today. He is known and seen as a great wizard/sorcerer, prophet, bard/storyteller,adviser, and

Merlin prophesies Arthur s life before he even is born and even contributes to the birth of
Arthur. Merlin s main role in the story is to guide Arthur into being king of Camelot. At this
point, many say that Arthur does not have a life of his own since everything has been set for
him and is being manipulated by Merlin. Though Merlin meddles with Arthur a lot, it is never
known to Arthur that he is meant to be a king until he decides for himself and pulls Excalibur
from the stone. Merlin directly led to the birth of Arthur by disguising his father, Uther, as
Gorlois the husband of Igraine and allowed Uther to inseminate Igraine and have Arthur. Some
stories even say he was Arthur s tutor and that he started the legend that whoever pulls the
Excalibur from the stone will be the right and truthful heir to the throne. At the same time, he
also persuaded the Lady of the Lake to present Excalibur, the real one, to Arthur. Although some
stories say that Merlin died before Arthur s birth, most of the main legends show that Merlin was
trapped by dark magic. Some legends say that Merlin fell in love with the Lady of the Lake and
taught her everything and after she supposedly grew stronger than Merlin, she trapped him in a
tower and that explains some of his disappearances in stories. Other accounts say that he also
guided Perceval, foretold the greatness of Lancelot and Tristan, but failed to guide Sir Balin in his

The Construction Of Roman Seagoing Warships
Whether you are transporting people, laying siege to a countryside, or simply shipping goods
down the coast, ships have always been the way to do it and the Romans have perfected this
method. Romans might not have been the first to build ships but they were the ones who were
able to master the art of naval warfare and shipping goods and people to and from Alexandria. To
this day we still base many of our shipping systems off of them and their influence on modern day
ship design is prevalent in documents that show the materials used for ships that we still use today.

Roman ships are rather simple in design. Many ships simply had a single main mast which
carried a rectangular sail. However some ships also had small sails at the bow and stern. Roman
ships were steered by large oars as opposed to rudders. Lighthouses were placed by Romans to
aid shipping to avoid crashes into dangerous cliff sides and rocks.Romans built large merchant
ships called cortia. These large ships could carry up to 1,000 tons of cargo easily.Majority of
Roman merchant ships transported a wide range of commodities, including wine, garum, fruit,
nuts, oil, and fish, in two handled clay storage jars called amphoras. Shipwrights were called
either a faber navalis or an architectus navalis. These shipwrights organized themselves into
collegia, or guilds, and excavations. Ancient ships were made of wood and water proofed using
pitch and paint. Commanders began to favor smaller more maneuverable ships called liburna.
Liburna played a huge role in helping Octavian defeat Marc Antony. Ships with multiple levels of
rowers were manoeuvrable enough to attack enemy vessels by ramming into the sides of them.
The trireme was a ship that literally translated into three banks of oars. The quinqueremes were
the largest ships. They had three banks of rowers with two each for the upper two oars and one
rower on the lower oar. There

Professional Codes And Standards Of Practice
In order to resolve any ethical issue, a certain approach to address the case is necessary to reach
the solution. Several of the most important techniques is to fully acknowledge the problem by
gathering all of the facts, using problem solving methods, and appealing to professional codes and
standards of practice. In this paper, the following scenario will be addressed and analyzed:
Professor Xavier is a tenured professor of engineeringwho teaches at a large institution as a
licensed professional engineer. One of his students, Jean Grey, tells him that during an exam for
another class taught by Professor Osterman, a classmate named Scott Summers apparently used his
phone to take a picture of an exam question and sent it to someone. Jean also tells Professor Xavier
that she had informed Professor Osterman about Scott, and then Professor Osterman spoke to Scott
about his actions. However, Scott did not face any further consequences resulting from his behavior.
Given this situation, the actions of each person will be discussed using ethical theories, along with
the application of professional codes of ethicsto the responses of Professor Xavier and Professor
Osterman, as well as applying the line drawing method to discuss the ethical obligations of both
professors. It is essential to point out the actions of each individual in the scenario mentioned and
discuss the ethics each person exhibits. It begins with Jean Grey, who first reported the case of

Analysis of Politics in The Republic of Turkey
The book follows the author s preceding work on the two Ankara parliaments during the War of
Independence and studies the parliaments of the Republic of Turkey from 1923 to 1946, roughly
the time known as the single party period when the political power was monopolized by the
Republican People s Party (CHP Cumhuriyet Halk FД±rkasД±/Partisi). In his former research
Demirel had given a large place to political disputes in the Turkish parliament by highlighting the
actions of the fraction opposed to the group under the guidance of Mustafa Kemal (AtatГјrk). The
scope of his research has changed, since the parliaments he deals with were composed nearly
exclusively by deputies of the single party, giving way to what Mete Tunçay has called an
unanimous democracy (24). Nevertheless, the book is part of a historiographical current that
challenges the discourse the kemalist regime has had on its proper history and insists on political
contradictions in the formative processes of the early Republic. In his analysis, the author draws
mostly upon the official parliamentary publication, with some references to the press and to
memoirs by leading politicians. He meticulously scrutinizes the composition of the six parliaments
from 1923 to 1946 and presents valuable empirical data on the deputies, like age, geographical
origin, education, profession, or seniority in parliament. Demirel processes the empirical data by
analyzing the transition between two parliaments, and highlighting the

20 some odd years. I am not familiar with the process or writing styles like Chicago or any
others, and definitely without plagiarizing something, definitely not my intention. Hoping I
caught enough of the citations but again very new to this system. As mentioned before, I am
already registered for the Developmental Reading and Writing class that starts on the 14th.
Looking forward to reading any ideas and criticism on this paper. This book was very hard for

C. Hildren s Literature
C hildren s literature is universally known for its wide range of works, including acknowledged
classics of world literature, picture books and easy to read stories written expressly for children,
in addition to its many fairy tales, lullabies, fables, folk songs, and other primarily orally
transmitted materials (Encyclopedia of Literature 237). In this encyclopedic denotation, we fail to
see the presence of realistic fiction, wherein everyday events, particularized settings, and
characters from all ranks on life are portrayed (Segel 417). Most people hold firm to the belief
that children s literature is only limited to hope and happy endings, when it is truly unbounded and
free to be expressed in whatsoever way is possible.
Moreover, in recent debates discussing realism or mimesis in children s literature and its ongoing
aim to reflect more accurately the random and inclusive nature of actual events and the complex
individuality of actual people (Segel 417), the problematic issue that continues to arise is whether
realistic fiction is too realistic for the children it is ostensibly written for. Two books that are in
question specifically at the moment are Kimberly Willis Holt s My Louisiana Sky and Rita Williams
Garcia s One Crazy Summer. In both narratives, authors Holt and Williams Garcia take their
implied audiences (children) on a journey through explicit subject matter foreign and forbidden in
the fruitful and fantastical garden of conventional children s

The Jilting Of Granny Weatherall Themes
The only cruelty greater than death is the nature of the life that precedes it. One s reflection before
nothingness is lost with the person, and will never truly be known nor understood. Katherine Anne
Porter s The Jilting of Granny Weatherall speaks to humanity s difficulty with accepting the finality
of deaththrough the denial of a dying old woman. The story s themes of memory by emotion and
the fault of denial as a solution for grief are underlined by the use of prominent symbols within
broken flashbacks, and intrusions by the story s setting. As Granny Weatherall moves closer to
death, her memories turn from details and stories into her reactions and thoughts from the period.

Weatherall, but leaves the reader in the dark as to what was not given back. Instead, the narration
focuses on the pain she felt in relation to the Something not given back. The pain is not only related
to her emotional connection, as her death outside of her mind is happening with great realism. The
snapping back to reality aspect of the story parallels the theme of the eventual failure of denial, and
reflects the events Granny Weatherall is recalling. As she lapses into thinking about her typical

Our Secret Susan Kriffin Analysis
Everyone has experienced a dark moment in their lives. It is in these dark moments that turn out
to be the most profound. In the story Our Secret by Susan Griffin, it talks about the connection
of the past lives of those in Nazi Germany and about Griffin s own family. Griffin has also talked
about an artist named Kathe Kollwitz. Kathe Kollwitz has created many self portraits relating
and expressing the emotions of the people of Nazi Germany. During this time, many people have
gone through hardships such as poverty and war. Through poverty some may have experience or
gone through some emotional situations. During war, people may have lost someone close to
them or even the peace they had before the chaos have occurred. Griffin has related a painting by
Kollwitz with her personal life. In the story, Griffin is trying to portray through this connection
how people feel emotionally and physically in the midst of war and violence. War and expressions
of emotions are common themes in most great works of art. In the painting by Kollwitz called
Poverty, it shows a woman holding her head in her hands. The woman is looking at an infant
sleeping in its bed. You can see the light from the background shining through the window unto the
baby. Although there is light shining on the baby, it also shows that the baby is dying and the
woman is actually crying. The portrait also shows two figures standing in the background in
darkness. On page 390 it states, Though the infant and the

For many years, test score banding has been a prevalent topic among researchers and a method
many organizations have relied on as a tool to select applicants. While many researchers have
negated the use of banding, specifically SED banding, as an accurate selection procedure, other
researchers have supported the method through statistically based evidence and other factors
contributing to the idea others have on banding being a poor selection measure. Furthermore, the
extensive use of banding throughout organizations and the reasoning behind the use, regardless of
the critiques, strengthens the argument that banding is a valid and useful selection procedure.

There are several quality outcomes I hope to achieve through the implementation of this initiative.
The most important outcome is to improve the quality of patient care and minimize hospitalization
lengths. The second outcome is to improve the process used in the hospital status post insertion of

The third outcome is to decrease the monetary toll that CAUTI takes on the facility by working to

Chip Cards V.S. Magnetic Stripe Cards Nowadays, the use of cards is becoming more and more
frequent because of its convenience. And the technology provides the way to make cards
become more practical. Two most common types of cards that people use are chip cards and
magnetic cards. Both chip cards and magnetic stripe cards are broadly used all over the world in
diverse areas of people s life. However, chip cards and magnetic stripe cards are different from
the security, function, and the process of the transaction. The first difference between chip
cards and magnetic stripe cards is the security of the cards. Due to people put the data into the

that the data leaks out, the owner of the card will suffer a large loss. The data includes the

element is the money that is in the credit cards and debit cards. Basically, people pay the greatest
attention to whether the money in the card is safe or not. Chip card has high standard on the

response, Iran announced that they would resume uranium enrichment activities and end
implementation of the Additional Protocol ( Iran 1). Before advancing further, it is necessary to
analyze the events of 2003 2005 to understand the role of the IAEA during this period and why
such broad international assistance was needed to achieve the slightest of results. After receiving
the Board of Director s resolution of September 2003, Iran immediately questioned its authority as

Essay about History of the Eartly Christian Church
Throughout the early centuries of the church s existence, the Roman government suppressed the
spread of Christianity. Many emperors did their absolute best to try to stop the Christian populace
from spreading with none succeeding (demonstrated by the fact that Christianity is still in existence
today). It was not until 322 A.D. when Constantine united all of Europe under his throne that
Christianity could be spread without threat of persecution. Under Constantine, Christianity, in terms
of numerically, thrived. Councils were held, doctrine developed, and great strides were taken in
order to have Christianity be one catholic church. However, in the next couple centuries, the church

The eastern half of the empire believed that the center of the church should be located in
Constantinople with the emperor, but the western half believed that Rome should be the center of
church life. Rome believed that the church center should be located there because, according to the
bishops of Rome, Peter is claimed to have been the first bishop of Rome. Therefore, since Peter,
who was given the keys to the church by Jesus, was the first bishop of Rome, the Roman Bishop
was over the other bishops and was the head of the church at large. Under this truth, various bishops
have risen to power with eventually taking on the title of Pope.
The first Roman Bishop to claim direct Apostolic succession from Peter was
Damasus I. Damasus went to great lengths to attempt to convince the other churches and cities of
this so called truth but to no avail. However, his work was not in vain. The next bishop of Rome,
Siricus, held the same stance as Damasus; however, he took the desire for authority from the other
cities farther. Siricus claimed inherent authority without consideration of the
Scriptures. He believed that because he was Bishop of Rome, he was a direct descendant of Peter
(instead of simply having the same position as Peter), which, according to Siricus, gave him
authority over the rest of the church as Peter was supposedly given. In addition to Siricus belief in
his authority, he also was the first bishop to give himself the title of

Driving Under The Influence Of Impairing And Driving
CJM 309 paper 5 Kevin
Driving under the influence of alcohol brings fatalities. The National Highway, traffic, and Safety
administration have the mandate of carrying out research geared towards achieving safety in the
American highways. According to the National Highway, traffic Safety Administration (2013),
alcoholic impairment whilst driving depends on the driver s blood alcohol concentration (BAC).
According to National Highway, traffic Safety Administration (2013), a BAC higher or equal to.08
g/dl renders the driver impaired and thus should not operate any vehicle or any machinery in this
state. Therefore, deaths arising out of scenarios involving an alcohol impaired driver brings forth
alcoholic impaired fatalities. According to National Highway, traffic Safety Administration (2013),
such fatalities does not occur solely on the notion that alcohol impairment caused it, but also that a
driver harboring a BAC of 0.8 or higher was involved in the accident. In 2013, NHTSA determined
that alcohol impairment resulted to about 10,070 deaths. This number amounted to about 30
percent of the total number of traffic related deaths in that year. The numbers above indicate that

before 1700 is housed.
The first piece of art I focused on was the painting titled Allegory of Fortune by Dosso Dossi.
Dosso painted it around 1530 in Italy. The painting depicts a man and a woman, the man is
sitting with a robe over his lap and the woman is sitting with her breasts exposed and her body
positioned such that you can t see full frontal nudity. The woman represents fortune, and she is
holding a cornucopia, representing the bounty she may bring. She is sitting on a bubble which
denotes that her favors are fleeting. The man in the painting represents chance. He is looking
longingly at fortune as he deposits lottery tickets into a golden urn. During the time of the
painting, civic lotteries were becoming popular in Italy. It is believed that the painting s probable
patron was Isabella d Este, Marchioness of Mantua. Isabella s emblem included a bundle of lots,
signifying her personal experience with varying fortunes. One interesting fact about this painting is
that it was found and purchased for a modest sum at a flea market. The seven foot painting was

The Inferno And What Dante
Introduction
This paper critically analyzes the character Dante in the Comedia. The paper analyzes the nature of
the journey in the Inferno and what Dante needed to learn from it. The changes that were
experienced have been analyzed in addition to the important parts of the text that are related to the
changes. Moreover, the discussion has been keen to provide relevant illustrations as the case may
be in order to emphasize on the character and the changes that are being addressed.
Discussion
The Inferno within the context of this discussion refers to the first part of Dante Alighieri s poem.
This is a chronicle of a journey to God by the leading character in the form of Dante. It is worth
noting that the journey has been split into three classical parts, each depicting the changes that are
being portrayed throughout the journey of Dante. The first part is the inferno, which is a loose
interpretation of hell and with it comes the changes that are being portrayed in the character s
story journey. The second part is the purgatorio, which can be interpreted to refer to the purgatory
of the story and the changes that occur at this point are characterized by the ever present notion of
a sense of undertaking. In this part, Dante is confronted by a series of situations in which he has
to reach a mental decision ,while at the same time taking a purge of his internal thoughts. The last
and final part of the change is depicted in Paradiso, a reference to paradise. Here, Dante has

The Role Of Education In Waiting For Superman
One of Superman s famous quotes is, [The symbol] is not an S, on my world it means hope. Hope
represents the foundation on which children and adults cling to day by day. People all across
America wait for Superman to save them from the evils in their lives. For the children highlighted
in the documentary Waiting for Superman, hope is the only thing driving them to achieve a
commendable educationin today s failing school system. Davis Guggenheim, an American film and
tv director, produced this documentary in hopes of eliciting a worried response for the future of
education in the United States. He reflects the individual struggles of students as well as a general
view of the education system through animations and the overall structure of the documentary.
Guggenheim urges the audience to notice the system s detrimental aspects and take action in order
to save our prospective students.
Animation: a dynamic visual medium produced from static drawings, models, or objects posed in
a series of incremental movements that are then rapidly sequenced to give the illusion of lifelike

moments when a great amount of facts and statistics are presented. These clips are included within
the film to break up the scenes of real life footage. For example, Guggenheim uses hand drawn
images to make the claim that it is less expensive to send students to private schools than it is to

From a historical perspective it was intriguing to discover how dyes affected the hierarchy in the
ancient world. The repeated use of dyes represented a transition in humanity from simple hunting
and gathering societies; to well developed structured governments and economies where people
focused less on survival and more on status. Colors in ancient times represented political, military,
and social status. Without the discovery of dyes kings would be clothed just like the normal
people giving them a less godly appearance and less power. Even today certain connotations exist
with colors like black for evil white for good, etc... The authors include this essay to demonstrate
man s first foray into chemistry by mixing and blending dyes to create more extravagant colors to
sell. The lust for colorful clothes drove vendors to create more eccentric dyes, thereby forcing
them to utilize experimental chemistry to create new shades and hues. The book here focuses too
much on the historical aspects. I can see the relationship but it is weak and describing the
chemical make up of colors doesn t explain why it relates to history. Essay twelve discusses a dark
time for chemists. Suddenly, in the mid 1500 s chemists went from being priests and healers to
witches and devils. Chemistry during this period is limited and men known as alchemists ran the

Types Of Investment Risks And Their Sources
Q.7: DEFINE RISK. DISCUSS THE TYPES OF INVESTMENT RISKS AND THEIR SOURCES.
ALSO EXPLAIN THE CAUSES OF RISK.
ANS.: INTRODUCTION:
Risk is explained theoretically as the fluctuation in returns from a security. A security that yields
consistent returns over a period of time is termed as riskless security or risk free security . Risk is
inherent in all walks of life. An investor cannot foresee the future definitely; hence, risk will
always exist for an investor. Risk is in fact the watch word for all investors who enter capital
markets.
Risk refers to the possibility that the actual outcome of an investment will differ from its expected
outcome. More specifically, most investors are concerned about the actual outcome being less than
the expected outcome. The wider the range of possible outcome, the greater the risk.
DEFINITION:
пЃ†According to Fischer and Jordon,
Risk is the, Variability of return around the expected average is thus a quantitative description of
risk.
пЃ†Dictionary meaning of risk:
It is the possibilities of losses or injury, the degree of probability of such loss. Risk is the
composed of the demand that bring in variations in return of income.
KEY DIFFERENCES BETWEEN RISK AND UNCERTAINTY:

duties, especially after force feeding women for over 3 months. A couple of years after my fifth
arrest of Ms. Pankhurst, I traveled to the United States by boat to witness the woman s suffrage
amendment being passed in the House of Representatives. After being forced to witness so many
horrific events in England, it felt only right to show my support of the Nineteenth Amendment. I
would later go back to England to report what had happened. In 1923, I married one of the
Suffragettes working with Emmeline, and I asked her to tell me all about their efforts to give
women voting rights. Because of what she told me, I was able to increase my efforts to grant
women voting equality with men in

Reasons To Choose The Electoral College
The Electoral College is a body of electors who are selected by a larger group of people. The
smaller group, the electors, represent the votes for the larger group, or a state. Each state gets a
certain amount of electoral votes based on the population of the state. A candidate gets all the
electoral votes for the state if they win the majority of the popular votes for that state. There are
many reasons why the United States uses an Electoral Collegeinstead of a popular electionand how
to determine the majority.
The Constitution explains the Electoral College in Article II, Section I ( U. S. Electoral College,
Official What Is the Electoral College? ). The founding fathers established the Electoral College
instead of a popular election for President because they were afraid of democracy. They thought
one highly populated area would control the election (Miller). They worried that the citizens would
make an unfit decision, so they wanted to build a foolproof system where citizens chose people to

Members of the House and Senate meet in the House chamber to conduct the official tally of
electoral votes, done by the Vice President ( Justice Network 2016 Election Rules. ). The popular
vote simply means a total of all votes from all states in America. All the electoral votes for a state
go to the candidate who gets the majority of the popular for that one state ( Electoral Vote vs
Popular Vote. ).
As confusing as the Electoral College may seem it is not very hard to understand after reading
just a little about it. This system was created so the small states get a more equal amount of votes
and one big state cannot control all the votes. They also tried to make it easy for the electors
having them only need to meet once a year. The founding fathers believed this would be the fairest

Data was collected via primary and secondary sources. Descriptive statistical tools for data analysis
i.e. table, histogram and graph were used in analysing data collected. The study confirmed that
margin loans have a positive effect on the stock market and investors during periods of boom and
the opposite during periods of economic downturn and further revealed that investors have little or
no idea of the terms and conditions attached to margin loan contracts.
The study therefore recommends that investors should be properly oriented on the terms and
conditions of a margin loan contract before the extension of such facilities to them and that the
CBN should restructure margin debts/interests and that toxic assets in the market should be bought
by the FGN in order to restore sanity and stability in the Nigerian Capital Market.

Stereotypes Of Optimism
Optimism. What is it really? Many people misjudge what it really means to be optimistic. As
someone who likes to think of themselves as an optimistic person, I understand how you could be
stereotyped. Someone who is optimistic doesn t necessarily fall under the guidelines, stereotyped
by society. The first thing that comes to most people s minds when they think of someone being
optimistic might be, unrealistic, cheesy, or sounds like a guidance counselor . But being optimistic
doesn t mean you are unrealistic, simply hopeful. I m not talking Snow and Charming from Once
Upon a Time, it is not humanly possible to be that hopeful. Hopefulness comes with the territory
when one is optimistic. If you are thinking right now that hope... Show more content on

Are you ready? Optimistic people have doubts about things too. OH. MY. GOD. Janice Litman
(FRIENDS). I know such a shock. But in all seriousness, just because someone is optimistic about
life does not mean they aren t human, I mean Nobody s Perfect (Hannah Montana). So, those of
you who think you can t classify yourselves as being optimistic because you have doubts, go ahead
and change your Facebook/Instagram statuses now. Just because you are not techniquly optimistic
all the time, doesn t mean you can t be optimistic. Some people use optimism for reassurance.
Though they may not be optimistic on the inside, in able to seem confident, they use it. Most of
the time those who are insecure don t appear it because they use optimism to cover it up. Take a
bully for example, they might appear tough on the outside, but they really are struggling deep
within. Just as many optimistic people are at first. The thing with this is, happy thoughts lead to a

Descriptive Essay On Rockefeller Chapel
Rockefeller Chapel is an enormous space neither religious nor secular, but teetering on the rims
of both in its uses as a prayer hall, concert space, and location for the College s convocation
ceremony. On April 22nd, 2017, the chapel is used as a divine space, bringing two religions, two
cultures, and numerous ethnicities together in A Meeting of Two Seas, a concert celebrating the
contributions of Hindus and Muslims to the arts of South Asia. As a performer, I enter
Rockefeller Chapel through its West Entrance, two hours before the concert begins for a quick
rehearsal and sound check I am an insider, not only as a Carnatic vocalist, but as a Hindu, who has
observed the rifts between Hindus and Muslims, which have lasted seemingly through antiquity.
Through the concert, I hope to observe a beautiful amalgamation of these two religions and
cultures and possibly, see the rifts begin to subside. Before guests begin to usher in, I take a seat
in the front row next to my friends and fellow performers and prepare to take notes for my sketch.
My friends giggle and chatter about their daily struggles, tuning out the sitar music playing softly in
the background, but I tell them to quiet down so that I can pay attention during the concert. After a
brief introduction from co hosts Nikhil and Nur Banu, Minu Pasupathi, one of my South Asian
Music Ensemble (SAME) directors, ascends the stage to perform the first act, an assemblage of two
unconventional Carnatic pieces: Allahvai

Health Policy Debate
Health Policy Debate The Affordable Care Act ACA has provided some needed changes to the
healthcare landscape of this great country. With these changes there have been many debates about
different aspects of the bill. The United States faces many ongoing challenges that include high
cost of healthcare, access to healthcare and the social aspect of government regulated healthcare.
One of the foundations of the ACA was to provide individuals with affordable healthcare and
access to preventative wellness as well as the reduction of preexisting conditions. In regards to the
ACA, the context of values, markets and morals will all be disused and the ongoing debate of the
ACA. Values Religion has always played a major role in the foundations of laws and values in the
United States. From money to monuments, the religious history has played major roles in this
country s establishment. According to Shaw (2015) delivering participant value requires more than
cost containment strategies that simply cut benefits and requires programs that provide better
quality and more cost effective care .
Americans are made up of many different ethnic groups and classes. This variation of incomes and
access to healthcare creates many ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The moral aspect of healthcare has always been a topic that is widely debated. As a country, we
should be responsible for providing care and services for those in need. According to Saloner
Daniels (2011) the citizens of the U.S have a social obligation to preserve the opportunities of its s
citizens by achieving the health needs through insurance and by providing a form of insurance that
protects people from finical hardships. This moral responsibility to our citizens can be arguably
debated from both aspects but I believe that we must have some form of insurance to protect the
wellbeing of every citizen in the United

  • 2. Comparison Between The Bacchae and The Medea In Euripides The Bacchae and in the Medea, there are significant binary oppositions in both plays. Binary opposition is the two opposite terms, such as good versus bad. Binary opposition is used to present both sides of a contrast (Marvin, 1). In The Bacchae and the Medea, Euripides used binary opposition to highlight the central themes. The significant binary oppositions that are used are men versus women, foreigner versus citizen, and god versus man. The contrast between men versus women is an important opposition in both plays. The women in the Greek society have no control of their life; the men are in control (Barlow 159). In The BacchaeDionysusunderminded the Greek society point view on women and empowers... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The binary opposition of man versus woman starts off strong, but Euripides switches the roles in both plays. In The Bacchae the woman worship Dionysus. Pentheus disguises himself as a woman, and goes off to view the women in the mountains, which is Dionysus plan the whole time. Pentheus dresses up as a woman and admits to wanting to see the women up at the mountains, and this goes against Pentheus anger at the beginning of the play (Bacchae 813 814). In the end of the play the women overpower Pentheus and destroy him to pieces (Bacchae 1125 1140). This is an example of the women being controlling of their own actions and being stronger than the men. In Medea the stereotype of the man and the woman switch. Medea is no longer going to sit around and let every man walk all over her; she states in her speech that she will take revenge on everybody that caused her misery (Medea 364 409). Barlow emphasizes on the reversal of the stereotype, stating that Medea, is a woman, moreover, who simply refuses to any longer to accept at any rate Greek female stereotypes unless to use them with calculation to gain her own immediate ends (158). Medea reversing the stereotype is the reversal of man controlling the woman, and this shows that woman as well have the power to control their own life. Euripides also highlights how ... • 3. To My Dear And Loving Husband By Elizabeth Bradstreet Poem analysis term 3 2015 Topic: Love A question that is often asked by many people is why do poets write? There is no definitive answer to the question, as not all poets write for the same reason or are inspired to write for the same reason. Some write as a means of expressing their feelings to an audience as they face hardships or exiting times in their life; other reasons can just simply be a conglomeration of images, perspectives and ideas developed in their mind. With this being said the overarching idea behind the greatest poems is to create a poem that people can relate to, for not only in that time period, but for years to come, therefore creating a timeless piece of art. One of the key components of creating such a piece is... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The desired effect of this idea is to leave it open for interpretation and therefore creating a response in the audience and a discussion of what the true message is that s hidden behind the ink. The poem to my dear loving husband is generally thought to give the message that love is everlasting, even after death. In the first stanza of the poem the author puts out a challenge to other women to compare their love to hers as she states if ever wife is happy in a man, compare with me, ye woman, if you can . This engages the reader to really see how their love or marriage really does compare to what the author is saying. In the next stanza with the lines I prize thy love more than whole mines of gold, or all the riches in the east doth hold . This is her saying that her love is of much greater importance to her than that of wealth and power. In the final stanza she talks of her love being a gift that she has been given and of which she doesn t believe she deserves but is accepting and thankful for it anyway. In the poem How do I love thee the how is really emphasised due to her only talking about how much she loves him without explaining why through the entirety of the poem. From the very start of the poem the writer starts a list of all the different ways she loves her husband or boyfriend. This, along with the use of the word ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Empirical Formula Of Hydrate Lab The primary of this lab is about the hydrate. The hydrate is a compound formed by an ionic bond combined with the water molecule (known as water of hydration ) attached to it. So for every formula unit, there would be some amount of water molecule combined with the ionic compound and would act as a single compound. Our theoretical hydrate for this lab was CuSO4 * 5H2O. To remove the water from the compound and get the mass of the ionic compound, you need to follow the dehydrating procedure by heating. That would separate the ionic bond (CuSO4) from the water molecule(5H2O) once it reaches certain decomposition temperature. And to physically determine whether or not the water of hydration is removed, see the color, in our case, turning white from blue. Once the water molecules have entirely evaporated, the mass left would be the weight of the ionic compound (mass of CuSO4 in grams).... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The empirical formula is a similar molecular formula but in its simplified ratio. While calculating, you need to find the percent of a part of the compound from the whole compound. Then find the moles of each composition and then calculate mole to mole ratio between copper(II) sulfate and water to achieve the possible empirical formula. But for the mole to mole ratio to work, you need to know the law of definite proportions. It says that every chemical compound would have certain proportion, by mass, of its composition and that ratio cannot be changed. So for example a mole of water would always have 1 mole of Oxygen and 2 moles of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Book Report On The Secret Life Of Bees By Sue Monk Kidd Elizabeth Nosek Nosek Page 17 26 2015 English, Summer Reading The Secret Life of Bees By: Sue Monk Kidd The Secret Life of Bees by: Sue Monk Kidd was a book that really showed me how African American people were actually treated in the early 1960s. How they could actually be beaten just for not apologizing to a white person. They were treated very cruel by some people, but, not by all people. Lily Owens was a young girl in the year 1964; who lived in South Carolina. She loved African American people. She loved how interesting they were, and she adored the stories they had to tell. Her best friend was an African American woman who worked on her father s peach farm. That woman s name was Rosaleen, and she helped Lily feel better all the time when she was sad. The visual argumentation that I ended up creating was revising the information from my discourse community of a marching band paper and turning it into an infographic. It consists of six components of a marching band that are named and briefly explained, as well as an image of an instrument found in the marching bandthat correlates to that component. My visual argumentation shows the revision of my discourse paper, has stayed fairly similar to what my design plan has dictated, and followed the principles given through the CRAP design principles. Through the revision process of my design, I decided to only use some of Swale s components of a discourse community. My design details the components of a marching band that are apparent while the band is performing because I felt that there were some discourse community components that aren t as valuable for the audience to know to understand how a band works. I also chose this because the performance is the most important part of a marching band, so the components understood should be the ones that are shown in a performance. This is also why I choose to include the connection a marching band has with its audience as a component even though it isn t one of Swales components of a discourse community. Having been in a marching band myself I know that it is essential for the band to be able to connect with their audience during a performance so that their audience is entertained and enjoying their music. Though Merlin meddles with Arthur a lot, it is never known to Arthur that he is meant to be a king until he decides for himself and pulls Excalibur from the stone. Merlin directly led to the birth of Arthur by disguising his father, Uther, as Gorlois the husband of Igraine and allowed Uther to inseminate Igraine and have Arthur. Some stories even say he was Arthur s tutor and that he started the legend that whoever pulls the Excalibur from the stone will be the right and truthful heir to the throne. At the same time, he also persuaded the Lady of the Lake to present Excalibur, the real one, to Arthur. Although some stories say that Merlin died before Arthur s birth, most of the main legends show that Merlin was trapped by dark magic. Some legends say that Merlin fell in love with the Lady of the Lake and taught her everything and after she supposedly grew stronger than Merlin, she trapped him in a tower and that explains some of his disappearances in stories. • 20. Analysis of Politics in The Republic of Turkey The book follows the author s preceding work on the two Ankara parliaments during the War of Independence and studies the parliaments of the Republic of Turkey from 1923 to 1946, roughly the time known as the single party period when the political power was monopolized by the Republican People s Party (CHP Cumhuriyet Halk FД±rkasД±/Partisi). In his former research Demirel had given a large place to political disputes in the Turkish parliament by highlighting the actions of the fraction opposed to the group under the guidance of Mustafa Kemal (AtatГјrk). The scope of his research has changed, since the parliaments he deals with were composed nearly exclusively by deputies of the single party, giving way to what Mete TunГ§ay has called an unanimous democracy (24). Nevertheless, the book is part of a historiographical current that challenges the discourse the kemalist regime has had on its proper history and insists on political contradictions in the formative processes of the early Republic. In his analysis, the author draws mostly upon the official parliamentary publication, with some references to the press and to memoirs by leading politicians. He meticulously scrutinizes the composition of the six parliaments from 1923 to 1946 and presents valuable empirical data on the deputies, like age, geographical origin, education, profession, or seniority in parliament. Demirel processes the empirical data by analyzing the transition between two parliaments, and highlighting the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 22. C. Hildren s Literature C hildren s literature is universally known for its wide range of works, including acknowledged classics of world literature, picture books and easy to read stories written expressly for children, in addition to its many fairy tales, lullabies, fables, folk songs, and other primarily orally transmitted materials (Encyclopedia of Literature 237). In this encyclopedic denotation, we fail to see the presence of realistic fiction, wherein everyday events, particularized settings, and characters from all ranks on life are portrayed (Segel 417). Most people hold firm to the belief that children s literature is only limited to hope and happy endings, when it is truly unbounded and free to be expressed in whatsoever way is possible. Moreover, in recent debates discussing realism or mimesis in children s literature and its ongoing aim to reflect more accurately the random and inclusive nature of actual events and the complex individuality of actual people (Segel 417), the problematic issue that continues to arise is whether realistic fiction is too realistic for the children it is ostensibly written for. Two books that are in question specifically at the moment are Kimberly Willis Holt s My Louisiana Sky and Rita Williams Garcia s One Crazy Summer. In both narratives, authors Holt and Williams Garcia take their implied audiences (children) on a journey through explicit subject matter foreign and forbidden in the fruitful and fantastical garden of conventional children s ... In the story Our Secret by Susan Griffin, it talks about the connection of the past lives of those in Nazi Germany and about Griffin s own family. Griffin has also talked about an artist named Kathe Kollwitz. Kathe Kollwitz has created many self portraits relating and expressing the emotions of the people of Nazi Germany. During this time, many people have gone through hardships such as poverty and war. Through poverty some may have experience or gone through some emotional situations. During war, people may have lost someone close to them or even the peace they had before the chaos have occurred. Griffin has related a painting by Kollwitz with her personal life. In the story, Griffin is trying to portray through this connection how people feel emotionally and physically in the midst of war and violence. War and expressions of emotions are common themes in most great works of art. In the painting by Kollwitz called Poverty, it shows a woman holding her head in her hands. The woman is looking at an infant sleeping in its bed. You can see the light from the background shining through the window unto the baby. The National Highway, traffic, and Safety administration have the mandate of carrying out research geared towards achieving safety in the American highways. According to the National Highway, traffic Safety Administration (2013), alcoholic impairment whilst driving depends on the driver s blood alcohol concentration (BAC). According to National Highway, traffic Safety Administration (2013), a BAC higher or equal to.08 g/dl renders the driver impaired and thus should not operate any vehicle or any machinery in this state. Therefore, deaths arising out of scenarios involving an alcohol impaired driver brings forth alcoholic impaired fatalities. In 1923, I married one of the Suffragettes working with Emmeline, and I asked her to tell me all about their efforts to give women voting rights. Because of what she told me, I was able to increase my efforts to grant women voting equality with men in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The smaller group, the electors, represent the votes for the larger group, or a state. Each state gets a certain amount of electoral votes based on the population of the state. A candidate gets all the electoral votes for the state if they win the majority of the popular votes for that state. There are many reasons why the United States uses an Electoral Collegeinstead of a popular electionand how to determine the majority. The Constitution explains the Electoral College in Article II, Section I ( U. S. Electoral College, Official What Is the Electoral College? ). The founding fathers established the Electoral College instead of a popular election for President because they were afraid of democracy. They thought one highly populated area would control the election (Miller). They worried that the citizens would make an unfit decision, so they wanted to build a foolproof system where citizens chose people to represent their ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Members of the House and Senate meet in the House chamber to conduct the official tally of electoral votes, done by the Vice President ( Justice Network 2016 Election Rules. ). The popular vote simply means a total of all votes from all states in America. All the electoral votes for a state go to the candidate who gets the majority of the popular for that one state ( Electoral Vote vs Popular Vote. ). As confusing as the Electoral College may seem it is not very hard to understand after reading just a little about it. This system was created so the small states get a more equal amount of votes and one big state cannot control all the votes. They also tried to make it easy for the electors having them only need to meet once a year. The founding fathers believed this would be the fairest possible ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Descriptive statistical tools for data analysis i.e. table, histogram and graph were used in analysing data collected. The study confirmed that margin loans have a positive effect on the stock market and investors during periods of boom and the opposite during periods of economic downturn and further revealed that investors have little or no idea of the terms and conditions attached to margin loan contracts. The study therefore recommends that investors should be properly oriented on the terms and conditions of a margin loan contract before the extension of such facilities to them and that the CBN should restructure margin debts/interests and that toxic assets in the market should be bought by the FGN in order to restore sanity and stability in the Nigerian Capital Market. • 47. Stereotypes Of Optimism Optimism. What is it really? Many people misjudge what it really means to be optimistic. As someone who likes to think of themselves as an optimistic person, I understand how you could be stereotyped. Someone who is optimistic doesn t necessarily fall under the guidelines, stereotyped by society. The first thing that comes to most people s minds when they think of someone being optimistic might be, unrealistic, cheesy, or sounds like a guidance counselor . But being optimistic doesn t mean you are unrealistic, simply hopeful. I m not talking Snow and Charming from Once Upon a Time, it is not humanly possible to be that hopeful. Hopefulness comes with the territory when one is optimistic. If you are thinking right now that hope... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Are you ready? • 48. Descriptive Essay On Rockefeller Chapel Rockefeller Chapel is an enormous space neither religious nor secular, but teetering on the rims of both in its uses as a prayer hall, concert space, and location for the College s convocation ceremony. On April 22nd, 2017, the chapel is used as a divine space, bringing two religions, two cultures, and numerous ethnicities together in A Meeting of Two Seas, a concert celebrating the contributions of Hindus and Muslims to the arts of South Asia. As a performer, I enter Rockefeller Chapel through its West Entrance, two hours before the concert begins for a quick rehearsal and sound check I am an insider, not only as a Carnatic vocalist, but as a Hindu, who has observed the rifts between Hindus and Muslims, which have lasted seemingly through antiquity. Through the concert, I hope to observe a beautiful amalgamation of these two religions and cultures and possibly, see the rifts begin to subside. Before guests begin to usher in, I take a seat in the front row next to my friends and fellow performers and prepare to take notes for my sketch. My friends giggle and chatter about their daily struggles, tuning out the sitar music playing softly in the background, but I tell them to quiet down so that I can pay attention during the concert. After a brief introduction from co hosts Nikhil and Nur Banu, Minu Pasupathi, one of my South Asian Music Ensemble (SAME) directors, ascends the stage to perform the first act, an assemblage of two unconventional Carnatic pieces: Allahvai ... The moral aspect of healthcare has always been a topic that is widely debated. As a country, we should be responsible for providing care and services for those in need. According to Saloner Daniels (2011) the citizens of the U.S have a social obligation to preserve the opportunities of its s citizens by achieving the health needs through insurance and by providing a form of insurance that protects people from finical hardships.
