The document discusses the various technologies and tools used to complete a music video project. These included cameras, iMovie, Photoshop, and Blogger. 2. • For the production of my products i used many different
types of technologies, new software's and cameras to
record my video.
• To research and present all research and work for this
music video and ancillary task I used the internet explorer
and blogger to blog all my work. I used both of these last
year as well so there was no problem as I knew how to
use blogger and and how it works.
• I used google to find out all my information and research
for this task. I found research such as clothes
CD covers, and music videos.

3. • For the filming of my music video, at first I used my own
camcorder instead of using one from our media
department.
• However my videos did not work on the apple macs so I
had re film everything mainly using my iPhone.
• Using camcorders I still learnt a lot as I have never really
used one so I learnt how to change the settings and film
videos better using different types of shots etc. However it
was still difficult to get the hang of these shots etc so I had
to practice a lot.
• Because the videos did not work from the camcorder I then
used my iphone to film, everything and this was very easy I
use my iphone every day and have made many videos on
it.
• I also used my iPhone to take the pictures for my poster
and CD digipack and they came out very clear and good. I
used my phone last year aswell to take some pictures so

4. • I used different programs to edit my products.
To edit my music video I used iMovie on the macs.
• I have never really used iMovie so I definitely
to play around with it first to get the hang of it as
it was very confusing and I wasn’t sure exactly what to doo
• After getting the hang of using it I focused on editing my video
so cropping, changing the effects, speed and sound and
adding the song to the video.
• However it still took a while to make my video and complete it
as I think I wasn’t very good with iMovie and it gave me many
problems with my videos such as the video was wide and I
tried everything to get it to normal screen but nothing worked
so that was one problem I couldn’t fix which wasted a lot of
time.
• Even though I couldn’t resolve this other problems were much
easier to resolve such as transition problems as at first they
wouldn’t work with my video but deleting them then adding
them again they finally worked.
• This has taught me that I should experiment more so I know
what I am doing.

5. • To make my ancillary task I mainly used photoshop.
• I used this because it was the best and easiest way to
edit the pictures and add the text to them.
• I mainly used Photoshop for the main task last year so I
knew exactly what I was doing and how to use Photoshop.
It is the best way to get certain effects and editing tools on
the picture to vget the best results.
• For anything I was unsure about, I asked my teacher and
friends who knew what to do, I also searched on Google
so I could make my products the best.
• As I used the main picture as the whole cover and poster I
changed the exposure and contrast to get the effect on
both pictures. This was harder than I expected as I didn’t
get the contrast and exposure levels right on both pictures
so they look slightly different which wasn’t what I had
planned.

6. • Another technology program i used was Blogger.
• I used this to display all my work and my evaluation for
this task.
• I also used other technologies to present my presentation
answers such as power point then I uploaded them onto
slideshare to share it onto blogger. i aslo wrote some of
my answers on blogger as a post.
