• Google is an online every motor which joins all the pertinent data on the web in
one place. I utilized google for a lot of my work. For instance I utilized it to
discover magazine pages which I could later examine to take in the traditions of
music magazines, I could then encode these components into my item to look
more expert looking substance. I used Google to help me find other magazines
and it gave me understanding and knowledge of different conventions that
helped my production. I used goggles many company's to help my work such as
their product: Blogger. As well as I used google for research of other publications
and magazines to base mine on .
• Benefits:
• Quick, easy to access, lots of variety of options, research
• Negatives:
• There are so many options I didn’t know want ones to choose
• Blogger is an online way of posting your opinions on certain topics. It is a platform for
submitting my coursework all in one place to be marked. It focus's on the feedback, and
planning of my coursework. Each submission up's my grade. My blog has 31 posts
currently, using a bog showed me different technology's you can use, to get your work
out to other people on various platforms. I already knew how to make a blog post and
how to add pictures, however I was unaware of how to embed the HTML. And I learned
that in media. I didn’t have any problems using my blog.
• I have used blogger as a platform to vote for my magazine name and as a way to get
ideas from other people.
• Benefits:
• Quick, easy to upload and use this website, helps you detail your progression and see
your completed tasks
• Negatives:
• Cant upload Microsoft word or PowerPoint with ought slide share,
• Slide share is a way of getting your work uploaded to
blogger. It works by embedding a code into blogger
transferring your work is a slide format. It enable's you to
upload any work n Microsoft and PowerPoint to blogger. Its
very similar t Prezi and is important to use showing
variation in technology when you upload different things. I
have used slide hare a lot. By using this soft wear it allowed
me to change how I presented my work on my blog, using;
PowerPoint and word exc… I found it easy to upload things
and share them to my blog, by embedding the coding which
transferred my work top my blog, going from one
publishing website to an other.
• My mobile phone was used to
keep in contact with the models
and with organising my
photoshoots. The notes section on
my phone was used to type in my
article and also to take notes that I
needed to remember about my
shoot and models. The camera on
my phone was used to capture the
locations we could possibly use for
our music magazine. As well as the
research on my brand. There are
multiple functions for an iPhone in
the media it can be used for
editing as well as research.
• I used my mums camera to take my photos so I could get the
best quality for my music magazine. As well as there easiest
transfer onto the computer due to her camera being digital and
my phone to edit. I used my phone to edit my models first as
the screen was smaller I found it easier. The camera was also
useful due to different zooms and lenses to capture different
angles. The quality of my pictures were not perfectly clear and I
know I could have improved if my mums camera had a higher
number of Pixels. I also due to the easy access could show the
different photos that I took and how my ideas changed.
• Computers I used this through the whole process of
my blog. It was used for designing, planning,
research, uploading. It was the most helpful thing
using this piece of technology, The Apple Macs
especially made everything easier and faster to
complete. I used the Dell computer for my blogs and
the Mac for Photoshop and other trickier tasks. We
used the internet to look at other magazines and
websites, as well as work on various locations and I
could move my work using my USB. I needed to write
up my research and planning as well as uploading my
final products. Doing it by hand wouldn’t be the
same thing, due to it looking less professional
and harder to upload to my blog.
• Benefits:
• Quick, easy, everything accessible always
• Negatives:
• The computer might not save your work, virus,
crashing, easier to copy other work
I used YouTube in the beginning because I found
Photoshop confusing to use, and watching others
use it helped me and gave me a heads up in
lessons so I could work faster and so I would know
what I was doing. It helped me develop my
knowledge and my idea that Photoshop could be
easy.
• The Photoshop allowed me to edit my images and
produce all 3 of my coursework pieces. This was the
main soft wear that I used in the process of this year.
It h helped to create everything. They were all equally
challenging, and Photoshop was hard to get the hang
of. It was very fiddly and hard to undo mistakes and
change on. I was able to pick up tools and use things I
never normally would. It was easy towards the end
and effective; I would be able to use this in the
future.
• Once you have developed your cover . There are a lot
cover layers. I had to enhance and emend my images,
and for my front cover had to edit my model out of
her background. I got basic skills and developed my
knowledge on technology. Produce all my magazine
covers, I found it very easy to get used to, which is
meant to learn tools and features it was easy for me
to edit, and to move my images and content around.
What have you learned - what skills do you now have
that you did not have previously?
• I am able to advertise and appeal to certain target
audiences. As well as using Photoshop to a high
standard, and all the different tools. I have got good
time management and submit my work on time. I am
able to brainstorm my ideas, and use different media
platforms and am able to use slide share. I am able
to work in a team environment and am able to ask
my peers for help and peer assessments.
What knowledge do you now have about the
best way to use these technologies?
• I know how to use Photoshop and the
different stages and layers. I can edit photos
and edit them out of backgrounds as well as
changing the contrast and image of my
pictures. I am able to use a camera and the
different variation; I know how to get the
camera to focus and zoom in to change the
angles of my pictures. I know the set up of a
phtoshoot and how to use white background
and lighting, to change my pictures.
Conclusion:

work how it is. Each product has helped me
produce my covers and media work. As well as
