 Caused by Salmonella typhi,
 Laboratory diagnosis include blood culture and
serological test, it helps to detect the presence of
salmonella antibodies in patient’s serum.

• Pre-meal glucose level = 70- 130 mg/dL
• Post-meal glucose level < 180mg/dL
