Corridors should be clear of obstruction from trolleys and housekeeping equipment.
Electrical cords and housekeeping equipment should not inconvenience guests and
where possible remain invisible.
“Wet Floor” signs must be displayed where appropriate.
Equipment should never be left unattended.
Hotel equipment, dirty dishes and ashtrays should be promptly removed to a service
area by the first team member noticing them.
Do not block exits with equipment.
Clean and vacuum all corridor surfaces; skirting and edges, door and picture
frames, extinguishers, and all signage.
4. CORRIDOR

Defects to wall paper, paint or carpet should be reported.
Corridor is been done by morning 8.30am and evening 4.00pm.
Clean from Top to Bottom.
Fold the cloth duster into four to fit into the palm of the hand.
For higher areas use the dusters along with window squeeze.
Start from one corner and move towards another.
Shaft door to be dusted from in and out.
Room number plate, Door frame to be dusted.
5. CORRIDOR

Room threshold to be mopped with towelling duster.
Elevator landing should be dusted, vacuumed and dry lamello to be passed.
Ensure Aroma pot is lit at point of times.
All the window glasses of service landing, guest landing & fire exit doors should be
water washed daily.
Carpet is been vacuumed from one end to another.
Spotting of carpet to be done then and there.
Do not vaccum outside DND rooms
Ensure in room dinning trays doesn't sit in the corridor.
