In cultural diversity and cross cultural work flow, you have to visualize your ideation process, if you want to create empathy and a creative knowledge transfer. It's another challenge for global workers, if they want also take advantage of the the global connectivity. Instant communication, decentralized hubs, but how to proceed efficiently when you want to aggregate knowledge? How to get access to informal knowledge, skills and know-how in cross-cultural diversity? How to set up design thinking processes in real life, visual, intelligible beyond the languages?
Visualized Thinking is creating a meta-language.
By breaking your ideation process down into a sketch note or an image, you are synthesizing your idea. You step out of your own mind set.
Thinking visually in the cross-cultural communication flow is the best way to adapt to the 21st century communication flow. People are collaborating and coworking in decentralized environments. Often visual thinking supports ideation and design thinking beyond the language.
Pre-Conference Course: Cross-Cultural User Experience Design - Aaron MarcusUXPA International

User experiences/user interfaces for mobile, desktop, Web, and vehicle platforms reach across culturally diverse user communities, sometimes within a single country/language group, and certainly internationally. If user experiences/user interfaces are to be usable, useful, and appealing to such a wide range of users, developers/designers/analysts must account for cultural aspects in globalizing/localizing products and services. In this course, participants will learn about culture theories/models, and about practical principles and techniques that are immediately useful in terms of both analysis and design tasks. Through exercises (as time permits), they will put principles learned into practice.

A 101 Introductory presentation about Cross Cultural Communication. Many and more companies are working in different geographic locations and hire their staff on local level, this is part of the Globalization. Some, if not the major, obstacles that multinational companies meet are related to miss understanding the cultural differences. In this presentation I gave basics on what is all about and I draw some basic lines that must be developed and continued, to avoid cross cultural issues.

159 slides include: 21+ slides on cross-cultural regional attributes: Asia, Africa, Europe, Middle East, North American, and Latin America, religious belief systems & practices, Non-verbal languages across cultures, noting the global challenges and looking for intercultural/cross-cultural opportunities, 9 tips dealing with cultural differences, tips and techniques on intercultural adjustments for expatriates, intercultural dialogue tips and techniques, negotiation across cultures, conflict resolution across cultures, how toโs and more.
The project aims to solve the problem of communicating between deaf and hearing impaired parents, and also to solve the problem of developing language skills in children with deaf parents compared to the average age group.
We created IoT devices which is collecting words from children.
By communicating between IoT devices and servers using LoRa, which is a low-powered network manager, it eliminates battery problems and guides children on language development metrics through the frequently used words. I've developed a way to store data using the Adono + Raspberry Pi, a child speech recognition device. In addition, we have developed a function to transmit data stored in raspberry pie to the server, to filter and store the correct voice data at the server level, and to develop the rest application required by the client. And I also developed with IOS client and connecting api.
