 Structured 25 week program
 Each training session to last roughly one hour

 Classroom - Mentoring 101 (5 Weeks)
 Classroom - Attitude 101 (5 Weeks)
 Job Training Manual Review (5 Weeks)

Welcome to Mentorship!
HEXPOL Compounding views mentorship as the
future of our organization because you grow an
organization by growing its people.
The best way to do this is by people developing
people through a structured mentoring program
utilizing our skilled associates with knowledge to
share with those that are less experienced. This
intentional process develops people faster through
trusting relationships that promote the transferring
of knowledge, character, skills and competency.
This knowledge sharing helps to improve our
safety, builds relationships, improves associate
retention and promotes HEXPOL’s culture.
HEXPOL is dedicated to the continual investment
in our associates and their future. We have
developed a consistent mentor training platform
to develop the skills of those that choose to get
involved to grow themselves and pay it forward
to others. Those who choose to commit to the
mentorship program to become a servant leader
and model the way for others will become a better
versions of who they are today.
Five-Step Mentor Process
 I model: The process begins with the mentor
doing the tasks while the mentee watches.
This gives the mentee an opportunity to see
the process being performed.
 I mentor: The mentor continues to perform
the task, but this time the mentee comes
alongside and assists in the process.
The mentor takes time to explain not only
the how, but also the why of each step.
 I monitor: The mentor and mentee exchange
places this time. The mentee performs the
task and the mentor assists and corrects.
Once the mentee has gotten the process
down, they explain it to the mentor.
 I motivate: The mentor takes themself out of
the task and lets the mentee go. The mentor’s
task is to insure that the mentee can complete
the job without any assistance and continue to
encourage the mentee in their development.
 I multiply: Once the mentee does the job
well, it is up to them to teach – (pay it forward)
The best way to learn something is to teach it.

Mentorship Training Program  Structured 25 week program  Each training session to last roughly one hour  Pre competency evaluation  Safety training  Classroom - Mentoring 101 (5 Weeks)  Classroom - Attitude 101 (5 Weeks)  Job Training Manual Review (5 Weeks) - How to Teach  25 Ways To Win with People (10 Weeks)  Their Moment In the Spotlight - What does Mentoring mean to me? - Who was a Mentor in my life?  Competence evaluation at the end of the training  Receive mentor patch and graduation plaque  Celebration of the mentors accomplishment  Continuous training to remain a qualified mentor How to Join the Program  Applications are available in the HR department  Interested associates fill out an application  Criteria for consideration to join the program - Must have good attendance record - No performance issues - Demonstrate a positive attitude - Ambition to teach others - Willingness to learn - Dedication to perform at your best - Ability to relate and work with others - Great work ethic - Job specific knowledge Welcome to Mentorship! HEXPOL Compounding views mentorship as the future of our organization because you grow an organization by growing its people. The best way to do this is by people developing people through a structured mentoring program utilizing our skilled associates with knowledge to share with those that are less experienced. This intentional process develops people faster through trusting relationships that promote the transferring of knowledge, character, skills and competency. This knowledge sharing helps to improve our safety, builds relationships, improves associate retention and promotes HEXPOL’s culture. HEXPOL is dedicated to the continual investment in our associates and their future. We have developed a consistent mentor training platform to develop the skills of those that choose to get involved to grow themselves and pay it forward to others. Those who choose to commit to the mentorship program to become a servant leader and model the way for others will become a better versions of who they are today. Five-Step Mentor Process  I model: The process begins with the mentor doing the tasks while the mentee watches. This gives the mentee an opportunity to see the process being performed.  I mentor: The mentor continues to perform the task, but this time the mentee comes alongside and assists in the process. The mentor takes time to explain not only the how, but also the why of each step.  I monitor: The mentor and mentee exchange places this time. The mentee performs the task and the mentor assists and corrects. Once the mentee has gotten the process down, they explain it to the mentor.  I motivate: The mentor takes themself out of the task and lets the mentee go. The mentor’s task is to insure that the mentee can complete the job without any assistance and continue to encourage the mentee in their development.  I multiply: Once the mentee does the job well, it is up to them to teach – (pay it forward) The best way to learn something is to teach it.
