The Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum is located in Melaka and was built in 1986 to preserve the cultural heritage of the Baba Nyonya people. It displays traditional costumes, antique furniture, and other artifacts from the 19th century in order to educate future generations about this unique culture that was influenced by both Chinese and Malay traditions. Staff give tours to visitors to provide historical context for the items on display and help visitors learn about this important part of cultural heritage in Melaka.
