This document describes a GSM-based LED notice board system that allows users to remotely control and change messages displayed on an LED notice board via SMS from a mobile phone. The system includes an embedded controller, GSM modem, LED display board, and LCD. It connects the display board to a GSM modem so users can send SMS messages from their mobile phones to control and update the messages, styles, and information shown on the LED notice board from a remote location. This remote control capability makes the system useful for applications like police, army, schools, industries, and other public places to quickly display important notices or messages via SMS from anywhere.

ABSTRACT
Now a day’s every advertisement is going to be digital. The big shops and
shopping centers are using the digital moving displays now. In Railway station
and bus stands everything that is ticket information, platform number etc is
displaying in digital moving display. But in these displays if they wants to
change the message or style they have to go there and connect the display to
PC or laptop. Suppose the same message if the person wants to display in main
centers of the cities means he can use the mobile to change the message .This
project we can use mainly for police or army .I.e. displays will be connected to
all the main centers in city if they wants to display messages about something
crucial within 5 minute, they can’t.
Especially in the field of electronic security
systems are doing better performance. So flexibility, reliabilities are high and
accurate. For utilization new concept has been thought to manage them
remotely by using GSM MODEM, which enables the user to remotely by
sending SMS about the status of secured area, sending the SMS about the
name the location using GPS modem. Probably the most useful thing to know
about the global system for mobile communication is that it is an international
standard. If you travel in parts of world, GSM is only type of cellular service
available. Instead of analog services, GSM was developed as a digital system
using TDMA technology.

3. ADVANTAGES
1. In place of paper we use electronic board for important notices to issue
or display, thus saving environment.
2. Mainly used in schools, industries ,bus station, railway stations and
public utility places etc
3. Also used in the advertising agencies.
