Anthrone Test- a general color reaction test 
used to determine the concentration of
                 carbohydrates in a sample.
                   Carbohydrates react with 
the Anthrone reagent under acidic conditions
             to produce a blue-green color.
Observe the formation of
         color.

              Repeat the the same procedure
to the other samples. (Soya milk
                  and Shredded coconut).
LIQUID Soya Milk Top part- blue

SOLID Shredded Coconut Top part- blue

POWDER Dry Yeast Top part- red
Liquid solution (Milk) turned blue because of 
                the presence of carbohydrates
Solid solution turned blue because of the 
                    presence of carbohydrates
Powdered solution ( Dry Yeast) turned red 
           because carbohydrates was absent
