This document describes an experiment to quantify the amount of glucose in a potato. Researchers prepared various concentrations of glucose solutions and a potato solution by crushing potato in water. They added sulfuric acid and potassium permanganate to the solutions and recorded the time it took for the color to disappear, indicating the relative concentrations of glucose present. The results section shows the reaction times for each solution, with lower times correlating to higher glucose concentrations.
