The target audience for the film trailer is 8-25 year olds, who love fairytales and Disney films. Specifically, the audience will be mostly female, as love stories appeal more to women. The income level of the audience will range from £0 to £30,000, as children under 16 cannot work, but income is not a limiting factor like it is for high-budget films. The education level just needs to be basic literacy since the youngest viewers are 8 years old. Genres the audience likes are fairytales, romance films, and comedies. The target socioeconomic classes are C1 through E, as a low-budget film may not appeal as much to higher classes A and B.

Our music video developed and challenged usual media texts in three ways:
1) It used common music video elements like a narrative, singer, and band to engage viewers, but also added comedy.
2) It developed the genre by combining a dramatic relationship breakup storyline with comedy, making the serious topic more lighthearted.
3) It challenged norms by depicting homosexuality, not often shown in music videos, and added a twist to make viewers re-examine their assumptions. This controversial element was intended to provoke thought while still entertaining viewers.

Our music video developed and challenged usual media texts in three ways:
1) It used common music video elements like a narrative, singer, and band to engage viewers, but also added comedy.
2) It developed the genre by combining a dramatic relationship breakup storyline with comedy, making the serious topic more lighthearted.
3) It challenged norms by depicting homosexuality, not often shown in music videos, and added a twist to make viewers re-examine their assumptions. This controversial element was intended to provoke thought while still entertaining viewers.
Element we insluded
The document discusses elements included in a video to attract a teenage target audience. It mentions including teenage relationships and friendship conflicts. As the protagonists are teenagers, the video is likely to attract other teens. An Xbox game console was included to relate to male viewers. These elements may relate to the target audience and attract them to watch the whole movie. Earlier research on the target audience's preferred genres helped inform the elements included in the opening.

Respondents confirmed that the video fit the pop genre due to its bright colors and costumes. They enjoyed the color scheme, different shots, scenes, and group shots most as these kept them engaged. Areas for improvement included lip syncing, adding more shots with the boyfriends, improving lighting, and strengthening the dance routine. However, for the thriller, they used better camera settings like night vision, ensured the tripod was leveled, and used more shots to engage the audience. The student also improved at editing using effects and joining clips, having gained more experience using the software. Overall, they believe taking more time to plan was key to the thriller being more successful than the preliminary task.

- 2. What Has Been Discussed? Our deadline is fast approaching with two weeks to go from today, as a group we still have got part of our narrative scenes which we need to film. We came together as a group to discuss what else we should add to make our music video look better and more realistic. We have decided that we are going to go to Brighton to film with the boys to make out that we had a good relationship before our boyfriends got a big “Ego.”
- 3. Plan This week and next week we will all be working individually on our blogs to get them up to a better standard. On the 4th of March, we will all be meeting to then go to Brighton to film the romantic scenes. Some of the ideas which we have had to film our; - Throwing Stones on the beach - Eating on the beach - Window shopping with the boyfriend & then him pulling the girl into the shop - Going on the Pier, winning teddies
- 4. Today, we all discussed how would be the best way to end our music video. I suggested that we could take helium love heart balloons to Brighton beach and all stand on the beach wearing our dresses and letting them off. By us doing this it can represent that we have had enough of relationships, which goes with our storylines.
