The student learned a great deal from their preliminary task to the full thriller product. For the preliminary task, they did not properly use camera angles or the tripod, resulting in shaky footage. However, for the thriller, they used better camera settings like night vision, ensured the tripod was leveled, and used more shots to engage the audience. The student also improved at editing using effects and joining clips, having gained more experience using the software. Overall, they believe taking more time to plan was key to the thriller being more successful than the preliminary task.
