 A production company helps to create a
film. This is achieved by assisting with the
funding, budgeting, scripting and casting.
They are also responsible for finding a
director, editor and actors.
 An example of an existing film production
company includes Warner Bros.

3. What does a distributor do?
 A distributor is in charge of marketing a
film. They also choose the release date.
 An example of an existing film distributor
in the UK is Revolver Entertainment

4. REVOLVER ENTERTAINMENT
 Our ideal distribution company will be Revolver Entertainment. They are one of
the UK's leading distribution and production companies. In the past 10 years,
they have been awarded with 18 of the industry's top awards for marketing
excellence.
 I believe that Revolver would be our ideal distributors as they have produced
many successful British films. These include Kidultood, Adulthood and
Anuvahood. These films are very much alike our film - 'Runaway Love'. Our
film explores similar themes such as; relationships, drugs, violence and sex.
Our film also shares similar Mise-en-scene. This includes the use of language,
setting and the costumes. Our plot and use of editing such as slow motion and
special effects are very similar to movies such as Kildulthood and Adulthood.
Our titles also appear almost in the same way as Kidulthoods Title sequence.
 Our film shares the uses and gratification from the audience such as
surveillance, entertainment and personal identity. Our film allows our teenage
audience to relate to the characters and it provides them with information that
young teenagers may go through. 'Runaway Love' also enables the audience to
escape from reality. This is very similar to those films distributed by Revolver
Entertainment, therefore I think that we could really benefit from this.
