ABSTRACTABSTRACT
The aim of this paper is to identify the factors that help to implement
the green manufacturing in the industry. The paper focus on the green
design for industry and environment of green manufacturing system,
energy conservation, development of product with less wastage. The
paper also highlights the use of green manufacturing to form a
sustainable product and to reuse the product, shorter life cycle.
Together, these incorporate design for environment criteria in product
and process design phases, monitor and control manufacturing
processes to minimize waste and use of materials, conserve water
through reuse, and reduce volatile organic compound emissions through
process and solvent replacement.

have started to realize the vulnerability of
nature and diasasters. It may bring as
response our negligence.

As much fresh water has been withdrawn
in the 30 years as in the last 3 centuries
The rate increase in atmospheric CO2
between 1970 and 2000 is nearly double
that between 1960 and 1970.
Carbon emissions have increased by more
than 1.5 times since 1970
Industrial waste “Minimize at source”
