This document discusses an energy efficient mechanism for green computing in wireless storage area networks (WSANs). It presents a formal approach to green computing using a Green Cloud simulator. The simulator uses a load dispatching algorithm to keep an optimal number of active servers and supports energy management techniques like DNS and DVFS. The analysis tool takes the energy consumption model as input and characterizes the energy used by each task. The proposed technique reduces energy consumption in a WSAN and supports effective storage device mobilization in data centers.

• It follows load dispatching algorithm – That keeps almost least needed
number of active servers.
•In this we set every active server a set of discrete descending priorities of
request assignment.
• The servers are responsible for task execution.
•
•Supported modes of energy management in the simulator are DNS &
DVFS
•The analysis tool will take the ECM as input & characterized energy
consumed by each task based on the parameters
9. Advantages
Less complex.
Simpler to manage.
It released under the general public license agreement.
And also prevent increasing the amount of harmful gases
in environment
Higher latency.
High cost.

Disadvantage
10. Applications
Green cloud computing is providing utility based services to all
the users world wide.
In Data centers.
It leads to an abrupt level of power consumption.

11. Conclusion
Wireless storage area network model for energy consumption
using Green Cloud simulator. From this analysis we conclude that
using single user with two servers, the energy consumed by the
server is reduced using the DNS power management in WSAN. This
proposed technique will be a huge support for an Effective
mobilization of storage devices in data center.
