STILL KICKING (ALIVE)

                                                                                                           The Brief – Strap In.
    Back in the day the graphic designer's portfolio was usually a black book or large binder in which samples of the artist's best printed
                                                                          pieces were carried to show prospective clients or employers.

  Your Brief is to create a sketchbook full of interesting visual imagery (some text) based on your research of the 3 or more of the above
artists( One from each column). You will need to read some things and play around with your images in your sketchbook. Photography,
     Found imagery (Old Photographs/Diagrams), Illustrations, Typography, Layout and Prints are all areas we would like you to explore.
                                  20-30 good pages will be sufficient, but do more if you start to feel it enthusiasm is always encouraged.)

 Then you must select you highlights and produce your first A3 Graphics Book (Portfolio). You must Re-do/Re-work the pieces you think
                                                                          have the most potential, that consist of the following things;

                                                                                                                          Image using Text

                                    Your own Typography that you have come up with illustrating a quirky side to your own personality.

                                                                           A piece using repetitive imagery laid out in an imaginative way.

     A Printed image (not from a computer) that only uses three colours (one being black, one white the other you can choose). Stencils
                                                                  would be most practical, but other prints can be experimented with.

                                                                                      A Story created using 4 Photographs you have taken.

                                       An illustration based on a piece of text you have read from you non-designer (Doing Other Tings).
