Saul Bass was an American graphic designer best known for designing title sequences and film posters using simple geometric shapes and symbols to convey meaning and set the mood. Some of his most famous works included title designs for films by Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick, and Martin Scorsese. His designs were often hand-drawn and used basic elements like lines and silhouettes rather than photographs to capture the essence of a film in a subtle, abstract way.
