This document discusses horizontal projectile motion. It explains that horizontal projectile motion involves only horizontal velocity, while ignoring air resistance and only considering the downward force of gravity on vertical motion. The horizontal velocity does not affect the rate of fall. To analyze projectile motion, horizontal and vertical motions must be considered separately. The range of a projectile is equal to the initial horizontal velocity squared times the time in the air divided by twice the gravitational acceleration.
