Profile Summary:
 Working in Tailorman as Category Manager. This role includes handling the entire
operations of marketplace and internal online site management.

Merchandise Planning, Supply chain Operation, Order Management, Procurement;
currently spearheading as Vendor Operation specialist in amazon.

Work experience:
1. Tailorman, Bangalore, India – Category Manager
 Online operations of marketplaces
o Stock management – The stock we have in house will be spread
across multiple channels like internal online website, stores and
marketplaces. The stock has to be crucially managed across these
channels. This task includes replenishment of the low and out of stock
items.
o Onboarding new styles – This task includes onboarding new styles
across categories and also within categories. Depending upon the
season sales will have to add or delete the styles.
o Pricing competency – Analyze the pricing based on the discount and
other various attributes. Weekly analysis to check the sale based
upon the price discount.
o Managing returns – Created a process for the returns from
marketplaces and also the internal returns. Lowered the
marketplaces returns from 12% to 3%.
o Liquidation – Liquidated the returned items in the marketplaces with
the same discount percentage that was offered through deals.
o Catalog – Maintained the catalog of all the marketplaces
o Signed up Tailorman for the sponsored and display ads campaign in
Amazon.in and won the space in the Amazon page to display our ads
with the highest keyword bidding.
o Setup a process in Tailorman’s production team to deliver shirts on
time. Reduced the turnaround time for the shirts from 7 days to 2
days.
o Managing a team of 12 people with regards to all the operations and
content management.
o Launched a new website for Tailorman. Co-ordinated with the
software team with the corrections and worked towards bringing the
requirement live.
 Promotions management
o Deciding on the promotions that are run internal and external.
o Managed promotions for a golf event sponsored by Tailorman and
handed over discount vouchers to the winners and participants of the
events.
o Timely audit on the running promotions and configuring new
promotions in the admin panel.
o Notifying the new and exhausted promotions to the stores.
o Approving discounts from the stores.
o Tracking of daily discounts provided on the marketplaces and also
internal.
 Managing the catalog and backend correction of the internal website:
o Managed the catalog of the internal website.
o Correction in the order entry punched by the stores.
o Transitioning the stores to a new process.
 Buying/Merchandising:
o Procuring the OOS items and ensuring availability all the time.
o Bias for action on unavailable items.

 Catalog management: Driving selection and making sure to keep a high
quality catalog.
o Reviewing ISS (Problem reduction) Tickets, processes on a weekly
basis.
o Reviewing CS and Andon Cord (issues/ problems) tickets on a weekly
basis
o Discussing ongoing projects in your GL (category) with the vendor
managers.
 IDQ (data quality) checking for issues on high priority products
 Vendor management: Working and communicating with our vendors on a
daily basis for price update, creations, and other business relationships.

o Assisting vendors with their stock/price/catalog update.
o Handling the volumes given and ensuring the given SLAs and data

 Pricing: Updating and maintaining price uploads and updates.
o Working on Price Parity and Selection Parity for premium

o Analysis of the prices those are higher on our website and the other
competitive websites in order to provide competitive prices.
o Reporting the updates received from stakeholders on process to
Manager
 Problem resolution: Worked with different teams (customer service, FC,
TAM...) to resolve current operational issues in order to maintain business.
Found root causes and helped improve vendor/internal communication to
avoid future similar issues.
o Making reports on the trackers for price update/ NIS creation.
o Understand ‘Pricing update’ and product range (methodology,
purpose, workflow).
o Checking the catalog’s quality hence helped in the launch of Amazon
India.
o Creating SOPs to identify duplicates in the catalog depending on the
