Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth of England
Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth of England
Sixteenth century England experienced a phenomenon sometimes referred to as the Age of
Queens. The decisive power of the country was placed in women s hands and their reigns were
watched with a reasonable doubt. There is contrast of rule in terms of reigns between Queen
Mary and Queen Elizabeth of England, both of whom were engaged in a protracted struggle for
the English throne. Beside the legitimacy of their claims, there are more significant considerations
which predestined them to either increase or lose their power. The rule and attitudes of the two
monarchs bore significant influence upon the times in which they lived, including social, political
and legal precedents which were being challenged and in some cases reversed. The fact that both
Queens encountered situations of striking similarity, serves as a suitable example for a
remarkable comparison, helping to analyze the lives of the two Queens and how their lives
diverged as a result of such encounters and their actions thereafter. They were both Queens,
struggling for the throne, they were women as well as rivals; they both had affairs with married
men, however, one managed a narrow escape from the disgraceful situation, while the other failed
to do so. Mary grew to hate Anne Boleyn, mother of Elizabeth, because he took the position of her
mother Catharine as Queen of England. Before Elizabeth came to the scene, Mary was loved and
was the only child of King Henry VIII of

different rules apply to those who have been practicing for a period of time. Gedes Grudzinskas

Religious Rights And Gay Rights
As stated directly in the Constitution, Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of
religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof... This means that one cannot be discriminated on
the basis of religion. In recent years, religious rights and gay rights have become tied together due
to the fact that some feel sexual orientationties into religious beliefs. There are some people who
are in agree with same sex marriage, while there are some that oppose it. It is stated that in The
Atlantic article that, In certain cases, extending new rights to LBGT workers will necessarily
lead to religious freedom objections, and vice versa. No matter what side you agree with in the
controversy of same sex marriages, it is important to remember that the Constitution states, all
men are created equal , therefore we must handle this controversy in a way that everyone is
treated equaled in the eyes of the law. Girgis and Anderson, the writers of What is Marriage?
Man and Woman: A Defense, are against same sex marriages. Their view on same sex marriage is
considered traditional. The framework that Girgis and Anderson erect for for approaching
questions of religious liberty is that when analyzing claims based on theoretical accounts of the
values served by religious liberty and antidiscrimination we can achieve win win outcomes by
respecting the moral and religious liberty claims in the debate without undoing anyone s legitimate
policy goals. Personally, I disagree

Hades, Persephone and Demeter
Page 1: Demeter 117
Have you ever sat and wondered how the four seasons were created? Are you curious to know
when Summer met the sun, or why Autumn first let go of its leaves? This tale goes back to
ancient times, back when people worshipped Demeter, the Greek goddess of the harvest. Demeter
cared for everything that grew on Earth, every plant, fruit and grain. She taught men and women
how to plant seeds and plough fields. She asked Sun to shine for the land, and Rain to bring water.
She helped farmers harvest their crops. The people loved their kind earth mother and listened
carefully to her good advice.

She has not eaten in a while. This illustration should really show how scary and dark the

The play is set in an imaginary town called Yakshapuri. (In Hindu mythology, the divine force of
riches guidelines over the city of this name), the play presents a society in which the storing of gold
demands strict discipline and a stratified class structure based on the prevention of human rights.
He had denounced the standards of organization for utilitarian purposes, which subjugates the

people regardless of their position. In the play there is a character named chandra she use to

different from all the villagers. She was the only one who never followed kings orders and she use
to deny the orders of king. Chandra was narrow minded and before she never thought of using her
own mind or listening to herself. She never though of having her own opinion. But, after she meet
Nandini she opens up, Change in her thinking, starts thinking for herself. She recognised herself

American Colonies Dbq
During the 1600s and 1700s, the English colonists established colonies in North America. There are
many reasons and people that were responsible for this movement.
For freedom or because of politics, many of the English colonists fled the English rule. Though,
there are two other reasons, economy and religion, that heavily influenced the creation and success
of the colonies; especially the Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and other Southern colonies.
Therefore, English colonists established some colonies in North America for economic and
religious reasons.
The Pennsylvania and Maryland colonies were established for religious reasons. First there was
Pennsylvania. It was founded by William Penn. He stated All men have a natural and indefeasible...

In Virginia their economy was based on tobacco sales. It was so valuable because it couldn t be
grown in England. English tobacco imports from America in 1620 to 1775 went up in weight
from 0.1 to 102.0 million pounds. Overall Virginia s profit came mainly from tobacco exports.
Along with the increase of tobacco, the number of slaves, in Virginia especially, also went up in
this time period. This was because the colonists used slaves to farm the tobacco; the more
tobacco the more slaves they needed . Virginia had resources besides tobacco, too; they were
pigs and corn. The other Southern colonies, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia, had
many other natural resources that made them a perfect spot for founding a colony, as well.
These resources were helpful for getting the colonies started, as well as providing a steady
profit from trading and selling. North Carolina had Naval stores, corn, rice, pigs, and tobacco. In
South Carolina, just like the North, had Naval stores, corn, rice, and pigs; South Carolina had
something else, indigo. This was also a valuable resource, as it could only be found in certain
places. Georgia had indigo too; as well as pigs and rice. Virginia had a strong economy because of
their tobacco production. The other southern colonies also had an abundance of other valuable
resources. All on the coast, exporting their goods was an easy way to strong

The Bull-Leaping Art Analysis
The size of the left work, The Bull Leaping, is 30.8 x 41.1 (78.2cm x 104.5cm). And the size of
Achilles and Ajax playing a dice game is 21 7/8 x 13 3/8 (55.5cm x 34cm). The Bull Leaping is
bigger than the other one. While the left one has various color and the subject matters have the

Teacher Observation Essay
Consequently, high attrition rates characterize the first 3 years of teaching, underscoring a need to
provide better support for beginning teachers. Every new teacher becomes part of the school
community. The special education teachers must work across the boundaries of general and special
education and communicate effectively with general educationteachers, related services personnel,
administrators, and parents. They should know how to coordinate their work with other
professionals to accomplish important goals. I think that learning to interact in a positive and
productive manner with colleagues is a critically important part of the new teacher s work. As I
observed at school, the tension can arise if the paraprofessional keeps disagreeing with the teacher
s decision. It can easily happen if the teacher is new. I strongly believe that it is a responsibility of
every new teacher to take time to build relationships with others from the moment she/he begins
interacting with them. Strong partnerships with other teachers should lead to productive interaction
with other professionals in the school and better teaching. Building strong relationships are
important for helping students meet their goals. According to Billingsley, Brownell, Israel
Kamman (2013, p. 27), Teachers who establish positive relationships will be less stressed and
more satisfied with their work, and those who experience chronic interpersonal problems have
greater stress, withdraw, and will likely be

compassionate person, because she was the one who found Cossette.
Eponine had a miserable and in the end it led to a tragic ending for her life.
Another character that demonstrated a miserable was Jean
Vajean. He begins as a criminal and convict with absolutely no scruples. A kindly
prelate forgives him after a theft, and simply turns the other cheek. This act of
unexpected generosity inspires Valjean to turn his life around, and for the most
part, he succeeds in doing so. He becomes a wealthy respected philanthropist,
but doing so puts him in a conspicuous position. The merciless police officer J
Javert hounds him until his existence is discovered and he in again incarcerated.
By this time, Valjean has involved himself with a young girl and become her
father figure of sorts. He makes a daring escape from jail, and is able to hide
from the law with his daughter , Cossette. Valjean settles down for a good
while, until Cossette grows up. Valjean then decides to help fight in the
barricades. He escapes and meets Javert again and Javert sets him free again.

there are three women I will be focusing on called Pilar, Celia and Lourdes. The character Pilar,

Pilar through the book shows she is uncommitted to her family, and it can be assumed that she doesn

Faulty Truths In William Faulkner s Interview
William Faulkner s denial of differentiating between the factual truth and undeterminable
knowledge deviates readers attention from the direct significance of characters state of mind, which
also introduces an additional concept of their apparent insanity.
A reader of Faulkner s work possesses faulty truths, which are nothing but mere constructive
assumptions that have been built upon through a series of events taking place in the story. It is
often difficult to comprehend what message Faulkner is trying to convey, hence the blurry border
between truth and assumption becomes evident. Regardless, he still refuses to further explain
himself. For instance, during an interview, Jean Stein asked Faulkner, Some people say they can t
understand your writing, even after they read it two or three times. What approach would you
suggest for them? to which he responds, Read it four times (Faulkner Interview ). Faulkner is
suggesting much more.
Not only is the contrast of truth and assumption a reoccurring theme, but it is also represented by
many of Faulkner s fictional characters, settings, and plot events. This representation is also a key
factoring in diverting a reader s attention. For instance, in the case of Faulkner s fictional setting,
Yoknapatawpha County,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although such may be the case, it is important for readers to remember that they are being
presented with numerous personas, some of which may not have any true significance to the plot.
A key trait which seems to show up in many cases is that of a character s insanity. In A Rose for
Emily, Miss Emily is thought to be insane when she refuses to give up the corpse of her dead
father and takes the life of Homer Barron because of her powerful attachment to them. Her
apparently unstable state of mind reveals more information than what readers may have grasped

An Innovating Era
One of the most famous innovative engineers of all time, Henry Ford, once said, You can t build a
reputation on what you are going to do. Between 1850 and 1914 the American people happened to
be living by this. Everyone tried creating something to profit, not to satisfy American needs, but
some Americans built a reputation doing the opposite of that. During the years between 1850 and
1914, Americans were experiencing a lot of transformation. For example, Americans transformed
from a mainly agricultural society to more of a modern industrial nation while America so called
came of age. In addition, the Civil War was another huge struggle that the ... Show more content on

Ford produced the automobile to satisfy Americans desires and to make it more affordable for the
society they currently lived in ( Henry Ford Changed the World 1). He was very determined to
build a simple, reliable, and affordable car (1). His early life helped shape his future and the
man he became. Ford actually left home to take a job offered to him in Detroit as a machinist, at
the age of sixteen ( Bio Henry Ford 1). His early interest in machinery helped him quickly get a
job as an engineer. One of his starting jobs was with the Edison Illuminating Company (2). At the
age of 33, in 1896, he constructed his very first model, called the Quadricycle (2). That same year,
Ford encountered with Thomas Edison, the lighting genius, and some of his executives. Edison
encouraged Ford to make a better, more efficient model (2).
The impact that Henry Ford had on this innovating era clearly cannot be underestimated. Ford had
the dream of creating a cheaper motorcar for the great multitude ( The Innovator and Ford Motor
Company 1). In fact, he came up with the first Model T on October 1, 1908. When that became
known worldwide, he began trying to make that automobile in quantity for sale at more affordable

The Star Of An Inconvenient Truth
Nowadays, individuals of societies have adapted a self centered mindset and a loss of
consideration for the world they live in. In order to come across an audience who have lost a sense
of ethical conduct, Al Gore, the star of An Inconvenient Truth, produced by Davis Guggenheim,
formulates a thorough presentation that exposes the foreboding threat of global warming,
proclaiming that humanity s only hope in resolving this worldwide issue will result from selfless,
human action. Gore s use of ethos through real life recordings and graphic simulations support Gore

Such a direct and visual exposure ensures that the audience can grasp a vivid and wholesome
comprehension of the foreboding disasters that can follow global warming, emphasized by Gore
s claim that, I don t really consider this a political issue, I consider it to be a moral issue
(Inconvenient). Gore s original claim, that moral and ethical reasons drive him towards raising
awareness of global warming, aligns with his heavy reliance on ethos from visual representation to
persuade the audience. However, Gore s ongoing references to his past history and recent success
challenges the notion that he finds inspiration from moral and ethical reasons alone, but rather
indicates Gore s underlying motivation to use pathos and gain validity from the audience in order
to make up for his past failure as a politician. During many occasions throughout the documentary,
Gore provides insight of his past experiences, showing real news broadcasts that outline his
presidency and even referencing directly to the audience, such as jokingly claiming, I m Al Gore, I
used to be the next president of the United States of America , and following up the audience s
laughter by humorously adding, I don t find that particularly funny as the first impression he has on
the viewers (Inconvenient). Later on,

Greenpeace s vision is that the researching new solutions and alternate approaches will lead to a

Personally, hope comes from seeing one individual change their stance or approach. When people

Essay on Professional Athletes as Role Models
Are Today s Professional Athletes Good Role Models? Everyday today s youth are asked what
they want to be when they grow up. Some say teachers, firemen, police officers and a large
response to that question is a professional athlete. Something that all these professions have in
common is that they are all role models to children. Firemen, teachers, police officers have an
easy job at doing this; they are after all the people that save children, teach children and protect
children. But professional athletes on the other hand have a difficult task assigned to them when it
comes to being role models. Professional athletes are not given an option as to be a role model or

If she were to give a percentage of athletes who do this it could be more valid. After looking
through all the research I have done I have found more high profile playerswho have done time
in jail than have done for a charity. For instance, Kobe Bryant was recently on trial for the rape
of a young girl in Colorado. Mike Tyson was in jail for physically harming is wife, not to
mention biting the ear off of Evander Holyfield. Leon Lett of the Dallas Cowboys was put to jail
for selling cocaine. All these professional athletes are people that kids know. They don t know
the guys who are spending their free time helping a charity. Athletes should not be role models
because of the things they do off the court or field. They do way too many bad things that youth
hear about which might make them want to follow the same path. According to Gary Sailes in
his essay Professional Athletes: Cultural Icons or Social Anomalies: 16 players from the 2001
Super Bowl were involved in a crime one way or another. Those crimes range from drunk driving
to assault to murder threats. These are things that everyone hears about. A child may not be a

Brown Vs Board Of Education
Yesterday my best friend, Brandon, and I went to the library located on Savannah State s
campus to study for our upcoming final exam. Even though Brandon is a Caucasian, people don
t have a negative outlook on our relationship just because I am an African American. It doesn t
make much of a difference to society when we are seen together, considering America symbolizes
unity. Must I remind you, it hasn t always been this way in America. in fact, Whites and Blacks
weren t allowed to attend the same school, let alone the same water fountain because of
segregation. to many people this situation was looked upon as ridiculous. Why should a person s
skin tone determine where they should be allowed to go? I shouldn t. This was going on way
too long without anything being done about it. Finally someone decided to take the problem to
a new extent to bring about change. Brown vs Board of education is one case that still has great
significance in history. Not only did it have a huge effect on segregation, but America as well
would not be the same. My surroundings would totally change if this case had not been
established. Brandon would not be my best friend, and sadly without the desegregation in schools,
we would have never crossed paths. Oliver Brown stood as the representative plaintiff in the case
Brown vs. Borad of Education. He felt so strong about segregated schools, becuase his daughter

The color green has been associated with monsters such as Shrek, Frankenstein, The Wicked Witch
of the West, the Hulk, and the Green Goblin. Although this color is associated with life, renewal,
and nature, it has a double entendre and can be associated with greed, jealousy, and envy. For
example, the common phrase that corresponds to jealousy is the green eyed monster , which is the
term personified. These traits are exposed in Norman Osborn through his counterpart, the Green
Goblin. Before the chaos, Norman Osborn was just the average successful white businessman.
However, through the injection of the enhancing green serum, the immoral parts of himself
emerged and turned him into this villain. The storyline of Osborn was used to show the unethical
side of corporate businesses. He was used to show that everyone, including the upper class society,

Write An Argumentative Essay On Flibanserin
Female Viagra May Get Approved by FDA This Week Flibanserin, a drug designed to increase
libido in women also known as female Viagra , could be approved by the U.S. Food and Drug
Administration this week. FDA approval of the female Viagra would be unprecedented, as no
such drug has ever been approved before. WHAT IS FLIBANSERIN? Unlike Viagra, flibanserin
aims to raise libido by targeting the female brain s pleasure center instead of the genitals.
Proponents of the cite the lack of a female equivalent to Viagra. Unlike men, there is no drug on
the market to combat persistent low sexual desire in women, a condition also known as
hypoactive sexual disorder (HSDD). But critics of flibanserin say that the negative side effects
associated with the drug are too large for it to be released.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

And aside from these side effects, opponents of the drug say that the cause of HSDD can be
psychological, not physical. For these reasons, flibanserin was rejected by the FDA drug safety
advisory committee in 2010 and 2013. Despite these concerns, it is likely that flibanserin will
receive FDA approval this week. The drug was passed in June (with the condition that the
manufacturer take measures to limit safety risks) by the drug safety advisory panel, which it
usually follows in approval. As Liz Szabo of USA Today reported, flibanserin manufacturer
Sprout Pharmaceuticals has supported a large public relations campaign to get the the pill passed.

The New Ways Of Thinking Influenced The Renaissance
Humanism is derived from the movement that happened from the fourteenth to the sixteenth
centuries. The start point of Humanism is in Italy. It is an important development during the
Renaissance. Because of the terrible Black Death in 14th century. The population of Europeans
decreased extremely. A lot of people died of the Black Death. At the beginning of that time, people
thought the Black Death is God s punishment for living life in sin. People went to Church and hope
the forgiveness of God. However, the wide spread of the Black Death didn t stop. The dead body
forced the people started finding the other new way. Instead of believing in God, people started to
think about science. The scientists did the research and treated the Black Death by more scientific
way. People started thinking about the man himself and explored natural environment by more
scientific method. The new ways of thinking influenced the development of Humanism in art
during the Renaissance. The Renaissance artworks are about the re discovery of ancient Greek and
Roman artworks and their way of life. Humanists rejected the religion concept and not believe in
the supernaturalism. They tried to discover the natural creatures and destiny of man. Artists learned
the human beauty from the ancient Greek and Roman artworks and architectures. They began to
find out more ideas about the human experience, personal independence and social community.

Installing Bamboo Flooring Essay
Usually there are no instructions in the box on installing bamboo flooring, but it is done just like
ordinary hardwood flooring. The proper floor preparation is essential before any installation. It is
important that all sub flooring be flat with a tolerance of no more than one half inch over a twelve
foot span. If the sub floor is made of wood, staples are better to use than flooringcleats. Staples
hold better and do not squeak when stepped upon. If you decide to use a glue down installation,
use the adhesive that is specified by the manufacturer. Be sure to avoid water based adhesives at all
costs.

The oil urethane wood finish supplies a highly durable coating that allows the beauty of the
wood to shine through while minimizing discoloration due to age. A lambs wool applicator is
required for even coating, and one gallon can cover over 600 square feet. The water based
urethane finish can be used only on previously sealed surfaces. The crystal clear coating shows
off the natural wood beauty, and it dries very fast. No mixing is required, and it is very economical
to use. One gallon will cover up to 1000 square feet.

Polyurethane hardwood floor finishes are blends of synthetic resins that protect the surface of
wood. They are moisture resistant and available in high gloss and semi gloss as well as satin and
matte. The finish is recommended for kitchens where splashing water may be a problem. The
polyurethane finish is the most common and it turns a lovely shade of amber as it ages. Do not
shake the polyurethane container because air bubbles will appear in the final finish. Instead, stir
the container to avoid any mishaps. The coating should be applied with a brush or roller going with
the grain to avoid marking the finish.

The types of hardwood floor finishes determine the kind of maintenance you must use to keep the
floor new looking. Most of the time all you have to do is sweep the floor with a broom or dust

Section D: Analysis
This paper is answering to the question: to what extent did the left wing political opposition lead
to the Spanish Civil War, 1936 1939? There are many factors that influenced and that caused the
Spanish Civil War breakout, however this essay is focusing in 4 long run causes, more specifically:
the role of the Spanish Army, the role of the Church, the nature of the economy and the new left
wing ideologies.
The Spanish army had a very powerful influence in politics, due to its role in Spain s imperial past.
It was likely to be compared as the protector of the nation. The Spanish army had already
intervened before in politics several times, the last one in 1936, breaking out the war. It did not
have an appeal on the working class, since they were very brutal, and more important, very
expensive to maintain with very high taxes. They were more likely to be related to the middle
high class, and therefore even more unlikely to cause an appeal on the Spanish labour force. For
this labour force the Spanish Army was just a symbol of fascist authority. After the progressive
Popular Front was selected, the middle high class already planned a military offensive against the
leftists ideologies.
The second factor discussed is the role of the Church. The Church, as always has been,

With wireless sensor network, the applications are cost effective and people can use it. The main
disadvantage of the wireless sensor network is that it have the limited energy and computational
power so it is impossible to make traditional security methodologies to use. Many of the
researchers (A.Perrig, et.al 2001) and (Karlof. C., et.al, 2004) have given attention on this
problem in there research paper. There are some devices which work with sensor network which
use Check, Track and Trace , this type of functionality is used by most of the companies for
example check determines the wind monitoring ability to sense what is going around the

of sensors. The large application in the Wireless sensor networks make it hard to discuss security
without any specific context. In wireless sensor networks, the security is the main problem.

The Effects Of Violent Video Games On Children
The question is why children are being affected by these games. Is it that the child are
mimicking what they see or is it effecting the child s brain. At Indiana University, Dr. Vincent

They performed three different tests to find out how these games impacted the brain. They
picked out 28 students from campus to play either violent video games, first person shooter
games, or non violent games. What they found was after a couple hours playing these games
that those who play violent video games showed no brain activity in areas involving emotions,

cards with non violent words like run or walk, and they were in different colors. They also held

Throughout history people s views on certain subjects have often changed, and with these

Sandra Harding s Science And Social Inequality
A Review of Sandra Harding s Science and Social Inequality
In Science and Social Inequality, Sandra Harding argues that both the philosophy and practices of
modern Western science ultimately function to advance global social inequalities. Drawing on
feminist, postcolonialist, multicultural, and antiracist critiques of Western science, Harding supports
this argument and exposes the ways in which modern Western science engenders social injustices
particularly within the contexts of militarism, environmental destruction, and Western expansion.
Through the nuanced and multilayered review and analysis of these critiques, Harding proposes
ways to re conceptualize the sciences and formulates a persuasive case for the emergence of
feminist, practice focused philosophies of science.
Science and Social Inequality is divided into two sections; this paper will examine the structural
organization of Harding s text with particular attention to how the initial section supports her
proposed reconceptualization of the sciences on a global scale. My aim is to review themes and
key points of the text in order to evaluate the case Harding presents for the utility and necessity of a
postcolonial, feminist science studies.

situate science firmly within the social and political world and ultimately serve to question the

ABSTRACT
Designing and embedding a watermark for VoIP is the main goal of this paper, A new model is
introduced and characterized by high robustness, high security and must be non perceptual. The
watermarking model is suitable for real time service and supports the needs of embedding the
watermark into the traffic of VoIP and its extraction additionally this model offers authentication
and integrity. The model based on digital watermarkingand steganography. Another factor was
taken in consideration; the amount of data used and its influence on the voice quality of service. the
model is implemented using C# code for both embedding and extracting the watermarking spite of
the intended cheating mechanisms that might complicate the send/receive conditions. In addition,
the model performance has confirmed its robustness and quality of service.

Furthermore, they can be also responsible for the choices that they are making in life because they
may affect their body and create a door for a physical problem. Furthermore, people need to be
responsible for their intellectual growth as well. In order to be self sufficient, individuals need
to be prepared for life challenges. They can start by going to college to become well educated,
and receive a degree, find a job, and be able to take care of themselves without expecting
assistance from government, parents, or others. When people are able to keep the balance, they
will not be a charge or a problem to the public. Ericsson argues in her classification and division

have different faces in life that may qualify them at an extent. The way they dress, behave socially
and personally. Therefore, if individuals are well maintained physically and intellectually that will
impact their life one way or another. By taking care of themselves, they make decisions in life that
will be greatly beneficial to them. Besides physical and intellectual appearances, they need to be

Ethical Dilemma
Ethics, also known as moral philosophy, is a subdivision of philosophy, dealing with questions
about morality. Societies, religions, professional groups all around the globe have their own
principles or standards of conduct, which are followed by their members (Davis, Fowler, amp;
Aroskar, 1997). Ethicsis concerned with what is right, and what is wrong, good or bad, fair or
unfair, responsible or irresponsible, it relates to what we ought to do in terms of rights,
obligations, and benefits to society, fairness, or specific virtues. It is not just about what the case
is or what is most acceptable or convenient (Preston, 1996). In the case study The Typo, writer is

Oppositely subjective site of an ethical dilemma is when an emotional component has affected
an individual s response the way a dilemma was seen and settled (MacNiven, 1993). As a guide
by solving ethical dilemmas moral judgements are used. Shaw at al. (2009, p. 28) highlights, a
moral judgement to be strong, it must be supportable by a defensible moral standard, together
with relevant facts. People are using moral standards as a guide on what is right and what is
wrong. To make morally strong, justifiable, right decision marketing manager of pharmaceutical
company should consider three factors. Firstly, moral judgement needs to be logical, therefore
marketing manager should not follow his personal preferences and feelings, instead he should
look for motives and proofs to support the judgements. Logical judgements need to match with
our other moral and non moral beliefs (Shaw et al, 2009). For that reason marketing manager
should not simply follow his personal preferences by keeping his job. He should consider option
about informing doctors of typographical error, by doing so matching his moral and non moral
beliefs. To be in a good position to make an informed judgment, marketing manager should collect
as much as possible evidence; for instance, what could happen if patients with acute or chronically
gastrointestinal or diarrhoea problems will be taking

Think about fever. It is nothing else, than the response of the body to make its defenses more active.
This was one type of tendon problem: Tendonitis. De Quervain tendonitis, for instance, in the wrist.
Tendinosis
Second tendon problem that occurs invariably with athletic activity, especially when starting is
tendinosis.
It has to do simply with normal growth of tendons in the body, when they are subjected to increased
loads.
A normal process, but nonetheless painful.
How is that?
Think about growing pains in children.
If you have children or younger brothers and sisters, you know they all complain from pain, usually
in the lower extremities, during maximal growth, especially during early adolescence.
Tendons subjected to bigger loads than usual, grow in a similar way.
How does this problem manifest itself?
Deep pain, or discomfort in tendons or fasciae (Flat tendon structures).
Painful limitation of movements even is frequently associated.
So if such pain occurs after you increased tremendously your maximal load, then you don t need to
bother!
It s normal.
Sometimes, it lasts for one whole year or even 18 months.
This is again not abnormal.
And all of a sudden it

Why Was King Arthur Popular
The tale of a boy who pulled a magic sword out of a stone, became king and ruled Camelot for
many years is a tale that has been popular throughout the years. Thousands of books, films, poems,
and comics have all been inspired by this famous story about King Arthur. So the question is why
has this story been around so long? Why is King Arthurs story still popular today?
According to earlybritishkingdoms.com, King Arthur was a legendary British ruler who ruled
during the late 5th and early 6th century. When King Arthur s father died, no one knew he had a
son, so Britain wasn t sure who should be king. That led to Merlin the magician to making a
magical stone with a sword in it, and said that whoever pulled the sword out would be the King of

One reason is that it had all the elements of a good story drama, adventure, romance, conflict,
betrayal, and interesting characters with interesting backstories. It featured Merlin and his magical
powers, Guinevere and her beauty, and more. It featured a number of different knights that ended
up betraying each other like the brothers Balan and Balyn, who killed each other in war.
Something else that made his story so popular was the Round Table. King Arthur was the first
ruler to ever use that table. The Round Table was symbolic in Britain s history. In signified that
everyone was equal, because there was no head of the table. Without the Round Table, there wouldn
t be any stories about knights like Sir Galahad, Sir Lancelot, and Sir Tristram to make this legend
even more interesting.
History.co.uk stated that King Arthur and his legend are particularly popular during times of
social unrest due to its unfaltering moral stability. The way he came in was similar to that of a
superhero he came in the middle ages, when the world was corrupt and there was an imbalance
of power. Then, there was a glimmer of hope because of him. He made Britain truly believe that
he was the one , the one that could bring them out of this Dark Age. People believed that he had
all the features of a good leader. As mentioned in kingarthursknights.com, he had excellent skills as
a general and a knight. had kingly leadership , and was known for his loving

The Ideas, Meanings, And Power Dynamics
The ideas, meanings, and power dynamics in the three books we read are very different, however
some similarities are present. As far as veiling, the meanings within each book are primarily
complimentary. When looking at the views on how certain affairs, such as veiling, should be
enforced and interacted with, we see more skewed ideas. In general, all three show hegemonic
qualities, yet Young and Defiant in Tehran reveals more dominating than hegemonic qualities.
Veiling is an extremely debated and controversial topic all over the world. From what has been
revealed, it can be presumed that a substantial difference of veiling across the board, is
enforcement. From Veiled Sentiments to Young and Defiant in Tehran, the differences in ideas
regarding veiling are noticeably contrasting. The three anthropology texts involved, include further
inside information and feelings regarding veiling. In Veiled Sentiments by Lila Abu Lughod,
veiling is a choice and is not forced on women. Due to the faith and freedom of choice, most
women willingly and happily veilproperly. Although sexuality is not a popular norm among the
Bedouin, it is not the sole reason for veiling. Granted, women will be criticized and mocked for not
veiling or taking part in sexual affiliations. Such mockery is described in a story where
grandmothers react to the granddaughters Western style negligees. Once the grandmothers had
found out about them, they put them on, initially embarrassing the girls,

Taxing Fast Food
The first reason that the government should place tax on fast food is because it is seriously
dangerous for our health. As we all know, eating a lot of unhealthy food such as fast food can lead
to obesity which is a really big problem in the US. That is why placing tax on fast food would
really discourage people from eatingunhealthy food. However, taxing fast foodmay not stop people
from eating it totally, but it will certainly reduce the consumption of fast food or unhealthy food.
As a matter of fact, the main reason behind buying fast food or unhealthy food is because it is not
expensive; it won t cost people a lot of money to get it. As well, nobody buys expensive food every
day, what we can see in real life people prefer to buy low

  • 2. Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth of England Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth of England Sixteenth century England experienced a phenomenon sometimes referred to as the Age of Queens. The decisive power of the country was placed in women s hands and their reigns were watched with a reasonable doubt. There is contrast of rule in terms of reigns between Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth of England, both of whom were engaged in a protracted struggle for the English throne. Beside the legitimacy of their claims, there are more significant considerations which predestined them to either increase or lose their power. The rule and attitudes of the two monarchs bore significant influence upon the times in which they lived, including social, political and legal precedents which were being challenged and in some cases reversed. The fact that both Queens encountered situations of striking similarity, serves as a suitable example for a remarkable comparison, helping to analyze the lives of the two Queens and how their lives diverged as a result of such encounters and their actions thereafter. They were both Queens, struggling for the throne, they were women as well as rivals; they both had affairs with married men, however, one managed a narrow escape from the disgraceful situation, while the other failed to do so. Mary grew to hate Anne Boleyn, mother of Elizabeth, because he took the position of her mother Catharine as Queen of England. Before Elizabeth came to the scene, Mary was loved and was the only child of King Henry VIII of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In recent years, religious rights and gay rights have become tied together due to the fact that some feel sexual orientationties into religious beliefs. There are some people who are in agree with same sex marriage, while there are some that oppose it. It is stated that in The Atlantic article that, In certain cases, extending new rights to LBGT workers will necessarily lead to religious freedom objections, and vice versa. No matter what side you agree with in the controversy of same sex marriages, it is important to remember that the Constitution states, all men are created equal , therefore we must handle this controversy in a way that everyone is treated equaled in the eyes of the law. Girgis and Anderson, the writers of What is Marriage? Man and Woman: A Defense, are against same sex marriages. Their view on same sex marriage is considered traditional. The framework that Girgis and Anderson erect for for approaching questions of religious liberty is that when analyzing claims based on theoretical accounts of the values served by religious liberty and antidiscrimination we can achieve win win outcomes by respecting the moral and religious liberty claims in the debate without undoing anyone s legitimate policy goals. Along with the increase of tobacco, the number of slaves, in Virginia especially, also went up in this time period. This was because the colonists used slaves to farm the tobacco; the more tobacco the more slaves they needed . Virginia had resources besides tobacco, too; they were pigs and corn. The other Southern colonies, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia, had many other natural resources that made them a perfect spot for founding a colony, as well. These resources were helpful for getting the colonies started, as well as providing a steady profit from trading and selling. North Carolina had Naval stores, corn, rice, pigs, and tobacco. • 10. Teacher Observation Essay Consequently, high attrition rates characterize the first 3 years of teaching, underscoring a need to provide better support for beginning teachers. Every new teacher becomes part of the school community. The special education teachers must work across the boundaries of general and special education and communicate effectively with general educationteachers, related services personnel, administrators, and parents. They should know how to coordinate their work with other professionals to accomplish important goals. I think that learning to interact in a positive and productive manner with colleagues is a critically important part of the new teacher s work. As I observed at school, the tension can arise if the paraprofessional keeps disagreeing with the teacher s decision. It can easily happen if the teacher is new. I strongly believe that it is a responsibility of every new teacher to take time to build relationships with others from the moment she/he begins interacting with them. Strong partnerships with other teachers should lead to productive interaction with other professionals in the school and better teaching. Building strong relationships are important for helping students meet their goals. According to Billingsley, Brownell, Israel Kamman (2013, p. 27), Teachers who establish positive relationships will be less stressed and more satisfied with their work, and those who experience chronic interpersonal problems have greater stress, withdraw, and will likely be ... • 14. Faulty Truths In William Faulkner s Interview William Faulkner s denial of differentiating between the factual truth and undeterminable knowledge deviates readers attention from the direct significance of characters state of mind, which also introduces an additional concept of their apparent insanity. A reader of Faulkner s work possesses faulty truths, which are nothing but mere constructive assumptions that have been built upon through a series of events taking place in the story. It is often difficult to comprehend what message Faulkner is trying to convey, hence the blurry border between truth and assumption becomes evident. Regardless, he still refuses to further explain himself. For instance, during an interview, Jean Stein asked Faulkner, Some people say they can t understand your writing, even after they read it two or three times. What approach would you suggest for them? to which he responds, Read it four times (Faulkner Interview ). Faulkner is suggesting much more. Not only is the contrast of truth and assumption a reoccurring theme, but it is also represented by many of Faulkner s fictional characters, settings, and plot events. This representation is also a key factoring in diverting a reader s attention. For instance, in the case of Faulkner s fictional setting, Yoknapatawpha County,... Between 1850 and 1914 the American people happened to be living by this. Everyone tried creating something to profit, not to satisfy American needs, but some Americans built a reputation doing the opposite of that. During the years between 1850 and 1914, Americans were experiencing a lot of transformation. Ford actually left home to take a job offered to him in Detroit as a machinist, at the age of sixteen ( Bio Henry Ford 1). His early interest in machinery helped him quickly get a job as an engineer. In order to come across an audience who have lost a sense of ethical conduct, Al Gore, the star of An Inconvenient Truth, produced by Davis Guggenheim, formulates a thorough presentation that exposes the foreboding threat of global warming, proclaiming that humanity s only hope in resolving this worldwide issue will result from selfless, human action. Some say teachers, firemen, police officers and a large response to that question is a professional athlete. Something that all these professions have in common is that they are all role models to children. Firemen, teachers, police officers have an easy job at doing this; they are after all the people that save children, teach children and protect children. Mike Tyson was in jail for physically harming is wife, not to mention biting the ear off of Evander Holyfield. Leon Lett of the Dallas Cowboys was put to jail for selling cocaine. All these professional athletes are people that kids know. They don t know the guys who are spending their free time helping a charity. Athletes should not be role models because of the things they do off the court or field. They do way too many bad things that youth hear about which might make them want to follow the same path. According to Gary Sailes in his essay Professional Athletes: Cultural Icons or Social Anomalies: 16 players from the 2001 Super Bowl were involved in a crime one way or another. Those crimes range from drunk driving to assault to murder threats. These are things that everyone hears about. Even though Brandon is a Caucasian, people don t have a negative outlook on our relationship just because I am an African American. It doesn t make much of a difference to society when we are seen together, considering America symbolizes unity. Must I remind you, it hasn t always been this way in America. in fact, Whites and Blacks weren t allowed to attend the same school, let alone the same water fountain because of segregation. to many people this situation was looked upon as ridiculous. Why should a person s skin tone determine where they should be allowed to go? I shouldn t. This was going on way too long without anything being done about it. Finally someone decided to take the problem to a new extent to bring about change. Brown vs Board of education is one case that still has great significance in history. As a result, they plan different strategies to help improve the quality of life, so they start working on themselves by being more responsible for their actions and helping others in different ways for a better society. Some authors debate several circumstances to encourage people to participate in each other s life for the good of everyone in their community. Ericson is a screenwriter and an advertising copywriter. Furthermore, they can be also responsible for the choices that they are making in life because they may affect their body and create a door for a physical problem. Furthermore, people need to be responsible for their intellectual growth as well. In order to be self sufficient, individuals need to be prepared for life challenges. They can start by going to college to become well educated, and receive a degree, find a job, and be able to take care of themselves without expecting assistance from government, parents, or others. When people are able to keep the balance, they will not be a charge or a problem to the public. Ericsson argues in her classification and division essay We all put up facades to one degree or another (473). The author debates that people can have different faces in life that may qualify them at an extent. The way they dress, behave socially and personally. Therefore, if individuals are well maintained physically and intellectually that will impact their life one way or another. By taking care of themselves, they make decisions in life that will be greatly beneficial to them. Besides physical and intellectual appearances, they need to be careful to avoid situations that may endanger their safety. They need to make good choices of people and company that they keep places that they are visiting, and recognize the choices that will benefit them in life. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Societies, religions, professional groups all around the globe have their own principles or standards of conduct, which are followed by their members (Davis, Fowler, amp; Aroskar, 1997). Ethicsis concerned with what is right, and what is wrong, good or bad, fair or unfair, responsible or irresponsible, it relates to what we ought to do in terms of rights, obligations, and benefits to society, fairness, or specific virtues. People are using moral standards as a guide on what is right and what is wrong. To make morally strong, justifiable, right decision marketing manager of pharmaceutical company should consider three factors. De Quervain tendonitis, for instance, in the wrist. Tendinosis Second tendon problem that occurs invariably with athletic activity, especially when starting is tendinosis. It has to do simply with normal growth of tendons in the body, when they are subjected to increased loads. A normal process, but nonetheless painful. How is that? Think about growing pains in children. If you have children or younger brothers and sisters, you know they all complain from pain, usually in the lower extremities, during maximal growth, especially during early adolescence. Tendons subjected to bigger loads than usual, grow in a similar way. How does this problem manifest itself? Deep pain, or discomfort in tendons or fasciae (Flat tendon structures). Painful limitation of movements even is frequently associated. So if such pain occurs after you increased tremendously your maximal load, then you don t need to bother! It s normal. Something else that made his story so popular was the Round Table. King Arthur was the first ruler to ever use that table. The Round Table was symbolic in Britain s history. In signified that everyone was equal, because there was no head of the table. Without the Round Table, there wouldn t be any stories about knights like Sir Galahad, Sir Lancelot, and Sir Tristram to make this legend even more interesting. • 46. The Ideas, Meanings, And Power Dynamics The ideas, meanings, and power dynamics in the three books we read are very different, however some similarities are present. As far as veiling, the meanings within each book are primarily complimentary. When looking at the views on how certain affairs, such as veiling, should be enforced and interacted with, we see more skewed ideas. In general, all three show hegemonic qualities, yet Young and Defiant in Tehran reveals more dominating than hegemonic qualities. Veiling is an extremely debated and controversial topic all over the world. From what has been revealed, it can be presumed that a substantial difference of veiling across the board, is enforcement. From Veiled Sentiments to Young and Defiant in Tehran, the differences in ideas regarding veiling are noticeably contrasting. The three anthropology texts involved, include further inside information and feelings regarding veiling. In Veiled Sentiments by Lila Abu Lughod, veiling is a choice and is not forced on women. Due to the faith and freedom of choice, most women willingly and happily veilproperly. Although sexuality is not a popular norm among the Bedouin, it is not the sole reason for veiling. Granted, women will be criticized and mocked for not veiling or taking part in sexual affiliations. Such mockery is described in a story where grandmothers react to the granddaughters Western style negligees.
