Watching the movie 102 minutes for the second time opened my eyes to the tragedy of 9/11 more than
it did the first time. Being only six years old at the time of the incident, I didn t truly understand the
magnitude of the disaster until years later. The quality of the movie made it very clear to me just how
painful being around the World Trade Center buildings during the attack was, not only for the people
in the buildings that were hit, but for the people around as well. The feeling of helplessness that the
bystanders must have felt in addition to the feeling of fear must have been unbearable. Seeing the

Second I think that people weren t necessarily sure that what they saw was a real event. Sure, it clearly
happened, but the events seemed fictional because of their magnitude. I know that even though I saw
footage of the attacks, it still seems surreal. The magnitude of the attack makes it seem like something
that no one would expect to actually happen to us. Overall I think that those who did not turn off their
cameras did something positive because we would not see so much about the attacks or ever forget
them with this much visual coverage of it.
I think that the events of 9/11 made a huge impact on those around that survived. In my opinion, I
think that I would have felt so unbearable helpless in a situation like this. I have an altruistic sense of

perspectives and real experiences. It shows the true, raw emotions of the attacks rather than just

neck out for nobody. Rick is portrayed as America, although he seemed as if he was neutral he started
to show that he was caving in for the underdog, just as America did when we started to get involved in
the War. During the film when the Germans come into Rick s café, Rick shows that he is aware of
what is going on in the War, just as we Americans knew about all the concentration camps. Also, when

Executive Summary/Abstract
More than half of all women of reproductive age in the United States use some form of contraceptive
(Daniels, Daugherty, and Jones, 2014). Of those, most are on the oral contraceptive pill. Even with
new regulations in place to supposedly increase access to preventive services, there is still an issue of
women who are sexually active, do not wish to become pregnant within the next year, and who are not
using a form of contraception. Clinician and facility based barriers are the largest deterrent for these
women. By removing the barriers to contraceptive counseling and services, women will have greater
access to their health.
Where Are the Barriers?
One of the highlighted provisions within the Affordable Care Act of 2010 was the coverage for all
FDA approved forms of contraception without a co pay. For many patients, this was able to eliminate
a financial barrier. However, the largest barriers remain with the clinicians who provide contraception
to patients. In a 2014 report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, unnecessary
medical procedures were cited as barriers to accessing contraception. Among these were pelvic
examinations, routine pregnancy testing, HIV screening, and cervical cytology exams. Notably, there
are some instances, as listed out in the United States Medical Eligibility Criteria for Contraceptive Use

The art piece that I selected for my analysis is called The Triumph of Divine Love by Peter Paul
Rubens. The artwork is an oil painting on canvas, circa 1625. This piece of art was commission by
Isabella Clara Eugenia, Infanta of Spain and Portugal. The Triumph of Divine Love was one of eleven
art pieces in a series portraying the Eucharist cycle, an important issue in the Catholic Protestant strife.
Its purpose was to aid in the Catholic Reformation and the artwork was to be displayed at the

This is shown by the lighting in the painting being directly on her, the bright red that she is wearing,

is an example of tenebrism. The flying putti are shown in a ring around the woman, some holding

individual faces and expressions and all express happiness. The putti are contorted in different
positions as they fly in the air, and Rubens uses foreshortening with the limbs to achieve this and show
movement and action in the piece, especially with the two putti directly above the woman s head and

My colleague, Alison Guest, and I were assigned to travel to Rome to visit the beautiful Colosseum
where we needed to record out findings and reveal the history of the structure. We traveled over eight
hours from New York to Piazza del Colosseo, Rome, Italy to learn about the history behind the
Colosseum. Being a new archeologist, it is mandatory to travel all over the world to cites to get a
better understanding of history. Before traveling to Rome, I knew very little of the Colosseum. I knew
it was made of cement and destroyed but I did not know much of the history behind its creation and its
destruction. Little did I know, I would fall in love with the history and the beauty of the ancient
Colosseum. Once we arrived, the first thing you noticed was how big the Colosseum was. I never
imagined how big it could actually be. It covered six acres of land and stood at 157 feet tall. Another
leading archeologist who joined us for the trip had mentioned that took 1.1 million tons of concrete,
stone and bricks to complete the whole structure. (The Colosseum, 2002) The Colosseum was a
massive structure made of stone. It has an elliptical shape, allowing a nice view no matter where you
