GOAL SETTING
• Goal setting is a powerful process for thinking about your ideal
future, and for motivating yourself to turn your vision of this
future into reality.
• Goal setting is to set up a target that we want to achieve.
• It is a time based concept.
WHY SET GOALS?
• By setting sharp, clearly defined goals, you can measure and take pride in the
achievement of those goals, and you'll see forward progress in what might
previously have seemed a long pointless grind.
• You will also raise your self-confidence as you recognize your own ability and
competence in achieving the goals that you've set.

TYPES OF GOALS
LONG TERM GOALS
• A long-term goal is something you want to accomplish in the future. Long-
term goals requiretime and planning. They are not something you can do this
a day or even two. Long-term goals are usually at least several months or
year.

for a bank
SHORT TERM GOALS
• A short-term goal is something you want to do in the near future. The near future can mean today, this
week or this month.
• Daily Goals
• Weekly Goals
• Monthly goals
• Example will make the 5 units by the end of the day in manufacturing concern
