Gi-Fi is a new wireless technology that offers faster data transfer rates than Wi-Fi. It uses integrated transceiver chips and small antennas to transmit and receive signals on a single chip. Gi-Fi operates at 60GHz and can transfer data at rates up to 5 gigabits per second, which is around 10 times faster than current wireless technologies but at around one-tenth the cost. It was developed for applications requiring high data transfer speeds like transferring video and audio files.
