was born in Southampton County, Virginia. He and his original owner, Peter Blow, moved from
Virginia to St. Louis to attempt farming. Shortly after his owner s death on June 23, 1832 in
Missouri, Scott believed that this transaction should entitle him to his freedom. However, an
assistant surgeon of the U.S. Army, named Dr. John Emerson, purchased Scott. In 1836, Emerson
moved to a fort in Wisconsin Territory and took Scott with him. After living in free soil with his

Acute Renal Failure
Although the function of the urinary system is used to filter and eliminate waste from the body, it
also contributes with maintenance of homeostasis of water and blood pressure, regulates
electrolytes, pH balance, and activates vitamin D. The urinary system consists of 2 kidneys which
extract wastes from the blood, balance body fluid, and converts it into urine. It also includes 2
ureters which conduct urine from the kidneys to the urinary bladder via peristalsis, a urinary
bladder which serves as a reservoir for urine and finally a urethra which conducts urine from the
bladder to the outside of the body for elimination. The ureters, urinary bladder, and urethra together
form the urinary tract, which acts as a plumbing system to drain urine from the kidneys, store it,
and then release it during urination (Taylor, 1999).
As simple as this urinary system may sound there are also complication such as acute renal failure
or acute kidney failure, this occurs when the kidneys suddenly are unable to filter waste products
from the blood. When kidneys lose their filtering ability, dangerous levels of wastes may
accumulate and the blood s chemical makeup may get out of balance (mayo clinic, 1998). Acute
renal failure is categories into three different stages prerenal, intrarenal, and postrenal.

In many ways, Europa Universalis 4 is less of a game about history, and more of a game about
understanding history. In this game, you play as any nation from 1444 until 1821, from the
dawn of the fall of the Western Roman Empire until the death of Napoleon, and your goals as a
state are only limited by your imagination and skill. Accomplishing a world conquest is
completely within the realm of possibility for a skilled player, or you could be the type of player
who simply wants to form Germany or unite the Holy Roman Empire.
The player can begin the game at any date during the period which the game takes place, with the
map of the world being representative of the actual world at that time, but players will often find
that their games do not come close to this accuracy even when the player has nothing to do with it.
Because every nation is played by an AI just as long as you have been playing your nation,
sometimes variation happens. From personal experience, I have seen
Venice control almost all of Greece when I was playing an Asian country. It is this variation
which gives the game excitement; if I knew how the game would progress every single time, I
would play one game and never play again.
On one hand, you have a serious, historical simulation of the world and how it progressed, and on
the other hand you have a game where Ulm, a German minor, can take over the entire European
continent within several hundred

Dr. Jorsch Dr. Van Tassel Fear and cruelty are the weapons of animals, not humanity, and social
injustices derive from fear the masked ego of one who has sustained through power: white power.
It is only fair to continue to talk about social injustice by defining what is social justice. Social
justice embodies a framework (and certainly not limited to) a community, a united nation,
equitable in standing together in belief and acceptance of diversity; equality; freedom; and equal
opportunity to income and its privileges. Abraham Lincoln, the sixteenth president of the United
States of America proclaims that a house divided cannot stand. I believe President Lincoln is
correct with his statement, if the house is not endowed in a universal cause and foundation, then
the infrastructure is faulty and will collapse. Here is how this connects to social justice, if that
same house is not socially just, separation will impel and will cause dilapidation within the

The Safety Of Nascar Great Dale Earnhardt
NASCAR is one of the biggest sports in the United States. It is also one of the more dangerous
sports. Within the past 20 years alone we have lost NASCAR great Dale Earnhardt as well as
fourth generation driver Adam Petty to fatal crashes on the track just to name a few. Earnhardt s
death came as he hit the wall going at 160 miles per hour at the 2001 Daytona 500. Petty lost his
life in a fatal crash at the New Hampshire Speedway during a practice run. Petty lost control of his
car crashing head on into the turn three wall. Both of these accidents killed the drivers instantly
when they collided with the wall fracturing their skulls. From these tragedies rose many new
safety features such as the Steel and Foam Energy Reduction (SAFER) barrier and the Head and
Neck Support (HANS) device. But even with all of these safety improvements there still have
been drivers injured in crashes. So what can NASCAR do to further ensure the safety of their
drivers? Actually there is a lot that NASCAR can do and some of it is a lot simpler then what
we have anticipated. After Kyle Busch broke his leg in a wreck at Daytona in February of 2015.
NASCAR talked about increasing the amount of SAFER barrier walls on the track. Instead of
having the SAFER barrier in only the corners of the tracks NASCAR has started to talk about
putting it on every wall even in the infield of the track. Also they have considered getting rid of the
