• Micro- organism are the smallest organism
present.
• Micro- organism can be seen under microscope i.e.
they cannot be seen by naked eyes.

3. • Because they can survive in all kinds of environment i.e.
deserts, polar regions, seas, oceans, marshy land, salt
water lakes, etc.
Micro organisms occurs in very large
numbers. Why ?

4. • Micro- organism includes all unicellular organisms.
• Some Micro- organism forms spores to survive
unfavourable conditions.
• They remain inactive inside the spores and bring back
to life again when the conditions are favourable.
• Some M.O. are helpful while others cause diseases.
