Digital Technology:

use information in a digital context.
In terms of my As Coursework:
-Used computing and specific software to help me in the creation of my magazine
( In-Design) as well as to finalise photographs (through Photoshop) that would be
applied into the actual magazine.
-Blogs were used in order to keep track of my work (on both sides of the course).
For my coursework blog, a variety of digital technologies were present, such as
slide shares, Prezis, YouTube videos and more.
Creativity:

In terms of my As Coursework:
-Creating the idea for he actual music magazine: who was to be front page
worthy, the articles, the specific examples that the character that I had created
would respond with in the article, found inside the magazine.

-Colour scheme, masthead etc
-The photography was key, as it was important tot create familiar yet original
ideas for the models, and how exactly they would be placed within the magazine.
Research and Planning:

In terms of my As Coursework:
-Time management was key: knowing if I had any spare time to write or create
more blog post. If there was an free scheduling for an extra photo-shoot.
-Researching other successful brands and borrowing those and other
fundamental parts of a magazine and applying them toward my own coursework.
-Planning specific stages for my magazine. For example sticking to deadlines when
writing the articles, making sure that it was refined, edited and up to its highest
standard.
Post Production:

In terms of my As Coursework:
-Thinking up ideas, through process of elimination deciding an delegating the
right ones that would sit my house style for my magazine.

source for inspiration.
Using conventions from real world
texts:
• Definition: typical values and aspects that are found from within a specific medium
of work.
In terms of my As Coursework:
-The codes and conventions of a magazine, and applying them to my coursework.
The idea was not to create something original, but to follow past material that
was proven to be a success and familiar with audiences.
