This presentation was prepared for COMMACT International Conference held during March 2-4, 2012 in Kerala, India to share experience on "Disability, Development and Social Enterprising" representing Nepal Chapter. It was shared among over 50 delegates from India, Malaysia, Nepal, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia.The 3 day conference was held to discuss new directions for the solidarity economy and people centred economic development.

Ravindra Kasar has over 8 years of experience in CSR initiatives, community development, and project management. He currently works as a Senior Executive of CSR for John Deere India, where he is responsible for conceptualizing, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on CSR projects focused on education, health, livelihoods, and infrastructure development. Prior to his current role, he has worked for organizations such as TVS Motor Company and Srinivasan Services Trust in various community development and CSR roles.
Lalit Kumar has over 11 years of experience in skill training, education, health, and livelihood projects to promote socioeconomic development in villages. He currently works as a regional CSR anchor for IL&FS, implementing education, skill development, and health initiatives in Jharkhand. Previously he has worked with NGOs on women's empowerment, health, livelihood, and education projects across 11 districts of Jharkhand. He has successfully trained and placed over 1500 youths in various skills and helped improve education and health services for over 100,000 villagers.

It gives me a great pleasure in introducing myself. I am Benjamin Victor, a Human Resource
Expert vis-à-vis Rehabilitation Professional working with Tribal, Vulnerable, lesser able
persons and marginalized people towards facilitating their empowerment process. Having
done my Masters in Human Resource Management and Bachelors in Mental Retardation
along with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, my primary focus is in facilitating
community participation, transfer of skills and knowledge on effective management of
disabilities, ensuring a full participative and empowered life of the marginalized through
