words, it explains every keywords with definitions and
example, it has the summary and it has quizzes at

 Project risk management is “the process of
conducting risk management planning,
identification, analysis, response planning,
and monitoring and control on a project.”
 Project risk management should begin early
in the process.

 6-step process to establish the project risk plan:
 Step 1: Make a list
 Step 2 & 3: Determine the probability of risk occurrence
and negative impact
 Step 4: Prevent or mitigate the risk
 Step 5: Consider contingencies
 Step 6: Establish the trigger point

 There are 2 kinds of project control:
 Get people willing to work
 Take actions unilaterally
 Characteristics of a Project Control System
 Taking corrective action

Why did I choose this book?  The books that professor recommended were out of my capacity  This book is one of Project Management best seller  The author is well-known  The contents, 180 pages, are very interesting  It is available online for free  There is a summary in each chapter  There are questions or quiz in most of the chapter

Book Summary  It is for the first learner of project management  It is easy to understand because it uses simple words, it explains every keywords with definitions and example, it has the summary and it has quizzes at the end of each chapter  It explains clearly in chronological order about ‘before the project start’ and ‘after the project finishIt explains clearly in chronological order about ‘before the project start’ and ‘after the project finish

What did I learn after I finished reading it?  I would say there are 3 steps of project managements: plan the project, control the project and evaluate the project  I used to think that project manager is someone who know everything, but he should not, especially he should not have technical background

What did I learn after I finished reading it?  Thinking of what can go wrong is as important as thinking of what you want it to go right  The table to project risk plan will be useful for daily life  Working as a team, we need to be open-minded during the evaluation for our team development
