My Reflections
Some teachers have bumped a learner’s head on the wall or made a child swallow
scratch paper or pencil filings because some teachers lack compassion and respect to their
students. Maybe because the child-friendly policy was not implemented before. Also,
because they couldn’t hold their anger and emotion.
I think some teachers are better loved by students than others because there are
teachers who respect the rights of children and are friendly. Some teachers possess all the
attributes of a good and effective teacher.
If I were to choose, all the personal attributes should be possessed by all teachers
because all these attributes create a good, effective and globally competent teacher. If ever
all the teachers will possess these attributes, our nation’s education will prosper and rise
for good.

My Future Application
Using what I have learned in this episode, when I become a teacher, I should
consider all the attributes so that I will be an effective teacher who is able to shape my
students and influence them for the better. I will keep in mind how important is to be
emotionally stable, resourceful, intelligent, compassionate, buoyant, self-motivated, self-
confident, pleasant, refined, cooperative, reliable and objective in handling my students
with diverse attitudes and characteristics especially in teaching in various ways. With these,
I’ll be a good, well-rounded and holistic teacher ready to face and overcome circumstances
in the field of teaching.
