6. Conclusion and Future Extensions This project was one of our top choices specifically because it
approached a very interesting problem while giving us the opportunity to work with a renowned

The use of antibiotics has been used so much that it is also used in our agricultural systems, animals,
and the food that we eat. Antibiotics is used in agriculture today by putting it in animals to restore the
health of the animals or to make the animal grow fast. The antibiotics put in animals also make them
really large in size. Having antibiotic in our food is actual part of the reason why it s becoming
resistant and putting certain things in food can also contaminate the food. Food contamination can
lead to food poisoning which means the food has been contaminated by bacteria. Studies show that 5.5
million foodborne illnesses have been caused by viruses and 3.6 million were caused by bacteria (6).
There are thousands of deaths reported that were caused by people eating contaminated food. There
are ways to prevent food poisoning or food contamination so that we will not have to use antibiotics.
Eating organic food can is always good for the human body. Organic food protects human health, and
they are prohibited from using antibiotics or even hormones in animals. So there would be a violation
for plants that use antibiotics in their food. Plants would be prohibited to use any antibiotics or
hormones. People could also have the option to grow their own crops. Washing your hands and
keeping a clean and sterile environment is also a way. Cooking your food properly and keeping it at a

Jean Bartik, Born on 1924 in Missouri and named as Betty Jean Jennings. As all her family members
were professionally teachers she is good at education and she opted for mathematics as a major from
Northwest Missouri State Teachers college. At that time she was only the student who selected
mathematics as a major with different courses like calculus and Astronomy. She is accompanied by
another student and several other students who were in naval training for some other different courses.
