The Five Personality Traits Definitions
The five personality traits, a person s, portray Neuroticism, Extroversion, Conscientiousness,
Agreeableness, and Openness to experience. A person does have a small genetic bias relates to
personality. Men and Women do have different genetic makeup that is more prone to gender based
social encounters. For example, with two different sexes experience the same incident and the
outcome results being different. The unanswered question is Men from Mars and Women from Venus.
The Five personality traits, is it set like Plaster or Persistent Change According to Hutchinson (2013),
The big five personality traits definitions: 1. Neuroticism: tendency to be moody, anxious, hostile, self
conscious, and vulnerable (Pg. 616). 2. Extroversion: tendency to be energetic, outgoing, friendly,
lively, talkative, and active (Pg. 616). 3. Conscientiousness: tendency to be organized, reliable,
responsible, hardworking, persistent, and careful (Pg. 616). 4. Agreeableness: tendency to be
cooperative, generous, cheerful, warm, caring, trusting, and gentle (Pg. 616). 5. Openness to
experience: tendency to be curious, imaginative, creative, intelligent, adventurous, and nonconforming

(1) How do the films discussed link the concepts of ‚crime and ‚travelling ? What makes travelling
such an interesting phenomenon within the crime genre? Please also refer to the narrative structure of
crime films. Travelling has used to be an activity that entirely differs from our everyday life, an escape
in order to find authenticity. Travelling forces people from their comfort zones and lead to new
emotions, new actions, new perceptions, acquired through the prism of another reality. For a long time
it has been a privilege available only for a group of eligible. Not surprisingly, the idea of
interconnectivity between crime and travelling is highly exploited in the movie industry exposing the
gap between expectations and reality, between dream world and real world. Both the notion of crime
and travelling are built around the idea of observing spaces and places, people and their actions with
the possibility of expectations being destroyed at any moment. Often tourists try to plan their trips
with the smallest details to avoid any unpredictable situation, especially nowadays in the time of the
easy accessible images and reviews about destinations. They are very persistent in their attempts to
establish an order on a world. Crime stories are also concerned with this idea. The most thrilling effect
in movies can be achieved by putting crime and travelling into one story. When touristic stereotypes
are destroyed, anticipated actions are not performed, seeming strong

Music Is A Major Part Of Everyday Life
Music is a major part of everyday life. There are not many people that do not listen to music. Music
has been a gradual piece that has changed and evolved over time. From the beginning of time where
only simple melodies where being played on instruments made of animal parts to present day where
there is a mixture of visual representations and various melodies being played at once. This is all due
to the contributions of many artists over the years. Some of these artists where most influential during
the early 1700s around the time classic and baroque music were prevalent. Other artists like the ones
today have been influenced by past composers. This is just a way that although there are many
branches to music each artists influence and works can all be seen together under one big music
family. One of the most well known and influential artists of the 1700s was Ludwig Van Beethoven.
Beethoven was born on December 17th 1770 in Germany. His father was a musician for a court.
During the 1700s top musicians played in courts meaning for the royals of the country. They were
regarded as royalty and important people because they played for king and higher class people. It was
said the Beethoven s father was an alcoholic, this caused him to be a violent stern man. He was very
strict with his children. Beethoven s mother was the opposite. She was said to be a kind and gentle
woman. Woman that loved and cared for her children. She was the opposite of her husband.

A New Evolutionary Technique Big Bang Big Crunch Optimization
In previous chapters, the advantages and disadvantages of several modulation methods for multilevel
converter have been summarized. In this chapter Fourier series and harmonic elimination theory is
discussed briefly to derive the transcendental equations for the fundamental frequency switching
method for multilevel inverter. In the second part of this chapter a new evolutionary technique Big
Bang Big Crunch optimization is used for solving the transcendental equations for the fundamental
frequency switching method for multilevel inverters.
There are numerous methods which are as follows like (SPWM) First Sinusoidal Pulse Width
Modulation, (MCPWM)Second, Multi Carrier Pulse Width Modulation and (SHE PWM) and
Selective Harmonic Elimination Pulse Width Modulation which are implemented for harmonic
elimination specially in multilevel inverter. (MCPWM)Multi Carrier Pulse Width Modulation
strategies are widely used, because they can be easily implemented to low voltage modules. Normally
MCPWM can be classified and categorized as Level Shifted PWM (LS PWM) and Phase Shifted
PWM (PS PWM) methods. (LS PWM) Level Shifted PWM are characterized into three which are
Firstly ,Phase Disposition Technique (PD), secondly ,Phase Opposition Disposition Technique (POD)
thirdly Alternative Phase Opposition Disposition Technique (APOD) [45] [46] [47].
For the systems where high switching efficiency is needed, it is required and desirable to keep
switching frequency much lower. In this state,

Mexican American Studies Should Not Be Banned
America is woven of many strands. Our fate is to become one, and yet many (Ralph Ellison qtd. in D
Angelo). Although this quote may be over fifty years old, its meaning still stands; our country should
be made of many different cultures and ethnicities that come together to make one United States.
However, this cannot be accomplished if our nation does not allow for different cultures to learn about
their own country and hold on to their heritage as well as gaining knowledge on the history of the
United States. Thus, Mexican American studies should not be banned in Arizona because contrary to
the belief that learning about other cultural struggles is anti American, actually focusing on the racial
identities within the United States is an important step towards becoming a multicultural nation.
The United States of America is a nation based on the idea of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of
happiness, the people from this country have an obligation to make sure that every American can
experience these given rights. However by banning Mexican American studies in Arizona, this right to
express and learn about their culture is taken away. According to Kirk Semple of the New York Times,
about 41 percent of all Mexicans between ages 16 and 19 [in the city] have dropped out of school.
There could be a plethora of reasons why this statistic may be so high for Mexican Americans,
however, based on the statements made by students in the documentary Precious Knowledge, there

Analysis of Transcript Between Piers Morgan and Cheryl Cole
The interview I have chosen to analyse is a television interview by Piers Morgan with Cheryl Cole. It
took place in a studio in front of a live audience. The interview is to gain knowledge over Cheryl s
personal life, and Piers obviously has vivid background knowledge of her life along with some pre
prepared questions to ask. The main topic is a contestant who was in Cheryl s group during the famous
show The X Factor and we can tell this as Piers refers to her directly as the proper noun, Gamu. As
mentioned before, Piers had some questions ready to ask, but Cheryl s responses are all spontaneous,
which we can tell by her constant pauses which is a non fluency feature and so indicates it s
unscripted. The relationship between the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Kudler Fine Foods Problem Statement
Abstract
The topic being researched is how Kudler Fine Foods can improve the success of the business by
preparing for possible competition, and streamlining expansion procedures. The sources used are the
Kudler Fine Foods Strategic Plan, and The University of Phoenix online databases. Findings suggest
that implementing a research and market analysis plan, as well as an effective risk management plan
will ensure successful expansion and growth of Kudler Fine Foods. A risk management plan and
market analysis of new locations, will allow Kudler to acknowledge potential problems and pre pare
for them. The following is a problem statement explaining what is currently wrong with Kudlers plans
on expansion, and how they can improve these ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Kudler will expand in to locations where they will be successful. Kudler will also have an effective
and efficient model for future expansion and growth.
Conclusion
The goal of Kudler Fine Foods is expansion and growth while increasing profit and the current book
of business. By doing the extra research and implementing a risk management program before
opening a new location will increase the success of all three current locations and ensure the success
of any future locations. It will also help Kudler organize and develop other facets of the business like
the website. A little extra work goes along way and with the risk management plan in place and a new
location market analysis model being used Kudler Fine Foods should be able to grow and meet all the
organizations goals.

George Washington As A Founding Father Of America
Did you know George Washington proclaimed Thanksgiving? George Washington did many
incredible things as president like writing and following through on his inaugural address,
accomplishing many notable tasks, keeping America neutral from the war, and he proclaimed
Thanksgiving. George Washington was a Founding Father of America, and a president who paved the
way for generations of presidents to come. George Washington became the first United States
president on April 30, 1789. Washington s inaugural address was promulgated to the House of
Representatives, the Senate, as well as the inhabitants of America. Washington gave this distinguished
address at Federal Hall in New York City. Washington was going to concentrate on the Americans,
what their perspectives were on the country, and what could be done to make it better. He was going to
treat everyone with equal respect, and no citizen would have any more rights than any other citizen.
Washington would have to make unbiased decisions while being president. When Washington was
called upon to become leader, he was filled with apprehension; however, the voice of the American
people spoke to him, and that was what lead him to take this honorable position as the first president
of the United States of America ( Transcription: Washington s Inaugural Address ). During his
presidency, George Washington completed many notable and inspirational tasks. George Washington

The Fast Runner, Atanarjuat
The Fast Runner film serves as a way to share the story of an Inuit legend, an evil spirit that has been
passed down through generations for centuries. The intent of this film was to show viewers the
balance of good and evil in the Inuit culture and the struggles of the people that follow. The Fast
Runner, Atanarjuat, is fighting with the evil spirit and this film shows his encounters with the
legendary spirit. The creation of this film can also be used as a way to enlighten people about the lives
and culture of Native Americans in the Arctic. While watching this film I found the storyline to be
very basic. I enjoyed this film because while I was watching I forgot it was a scripted film and not a

In the film, Atanarjuat and Amaqjuaq went hunting for their household alone. When there was

film, Atanarjuat and Amaqjuaq discuss the shortages of caribou in the area while the supply of seal
and fish seemed steady. The textbook mentions food shortages and deaths by starvation but the film
doesn t portray the food that way. Although they talk about not having certain animals to hunt in the
area, they never discuss being excessively hungry or not having any food to eat. In the film, the people
would eat their meat raw and then burn the fat of the animals for heat. The way they ate their food in
the film seems accurate in relation with the textbook and other references. Although the film seems
accurate in regards to the economics of the Inuit people, the film doesn t necessarily show how they
hunted the animals that they ate. The people in the film would ride off in their dogsleds and return

Cole And Peter Quotes
When Cole and Peter came back from the island, they weren t able to follow their rituals. If I were in
their situation I would have tried staying in a quiet room in my house to clear out my mind, sit in a
bathtub with cold water for the pond, and listen to music for rolling the ancestor rock. The new rituals
that they tried were sitting in a freezer for soaking, carried bowling balls for the ancestor rock, and sat
at a park to become invisible. These rituals did work because Cole never went back to jail and Peter
didn t have ideas to commit suicide. For clearing out my mind and trying to become invisible, I would
have sat in my room where it is quiet. Cole and Peter use to sit in the park and close their eyes to
become invisible. One quote from the book is Reaching the park, they picked a comfortable patch of
grass under a big Norway pine . I would have tried this ritual, because I wouldn t want anybody
watching what I am doing. I would have felt more comfortable with a place where I know that I could
actually try to become invisible and not get distracted easily. That is what I would have tried. ... Show

quotes from the book are Here we don t have a pond anymore. Could we come and try sitting in your

because I think that sitting in a freezer would actually be very cold ,and I would have not even lasted a

because there would be no freezer noises, sometimes those types of noises gets annoying, and then

When Looking at a well know published magazine like Vogue, Glamour, and Top Model, they all

looking at the models, do they really resemble the average women reading these magazines that the

to achieve such figures that the magazines show as beautiful. These people suffer from eating

The Convergence Of Methods Of Storing Files
Americans today have seen the progression from old media to new media; majority, experiencing for
themselves the transition from pagers to cell phones, cassettes to iPods, or paper maps to GPS devices.
According to Henry Jenkins, who studies media convergence, this Convergence [where old and new
media collide] represents a cultural shift as consumers are encouraged to seek out new information
and make connections among dispersed media content (Jenkins 457). It is through the help of
convergence that old media has developed into the new media Americans see today. The convergence
of methods of storing files is an example of this. Storing files online, is taking the old media, a USB
Flash Drive, and converging it into a new digital ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Dropbox is a cloud storage service; a business that overlooks a users data and makes that data
accessible online. Because Dropbox has introduced people to the idea of accessing wireless data, this
reveals how this type of new media has changed the way that content is produced, distributed, and
consumed. Although the use of either a USB Flash Drive (old media) or Dropbox (new media)
maintains the same objective, that is, to provide people with alternate methods of storing data,
Dropbox is becoming a standard way of accessing data with the use of the internet as a platform. This
in turn, benefits Dropbox users somewhat.
One benefit of transitioning from a USB Flash Drive to Dropbox is that Dropbox allows easy access to
documents. Dropping files into Dropbox essentially stores these files on the online cloud, where users
can access their files anywhere and at any time as long as users have access to internet connection.
There are three methods in which Dropbox users can easily access their documents. The first is
through the Dropbox website. Users could simply sign in and upload a document they would like to
save or download an already saved file, make revisions to it, and upload the revised document.
Another way Dropbox allows easy access to documents is by linking a users Dropbox account to their

Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz Essay
Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz
The book, Stormbreaker, by Anthony Horowitz is about a boy named Alex, whose uncle had just died
in a car crash (or so they say). He finds out that his uncle was really shot by a man named Yassen
Gregorovich. Alex s uncle, Ian Rider, really worked for MI6. He was a spy that was hired by MI6 to
figure out the secret behind Herod Sayle and his Stormbreaker computers that he was donating to
every school in England. Ian Rider had figured out the secret, but before he could reveal it to MI6, he
was shot and killed. Alex s uncle was the only family he had left, and so it deeply affected him. MI6

Alex just happened to have the tool that can burn through metal in his pocket, so he used it on the fish
tank and it collapsed. I was also surprised that Sayle had implanted the small pox virus into the
Stormbreaker computers that he was sending out to every school (p. 186). That was how he planned to
harm everybody in England.
I really admire the character of Alex because he is very courageous and intelligent. At the beginning of
the book, Alex wanted to find out if the story about his uncle getting in a car accident was true or not,
so he went to the auto wreckage center nearest his house to search for the car. Once he had been
searching a lot for the vehicle, he ended up finding it to see it in perfect condition except for bullet
holes in the windshield (p. 19). He heard people coming, so he hid inside the car. Then a big crane
picked the car up and starting smashing it in a machine, with Alex still inside! After all the struggling,
he managed to get out of the car just before it went through the part of the machine that totally crushes
the car into a cylinder (p. 24). I felt pretty bad for Alex. It must have been hard for him to have to go
through a really brutal training camp for something he didn t even want to do, especially since he had
just lost his last family member. He had no idea what was going to happen to him

Evolution Is A Highly Argumentative Topic, Today s Society
Payne 1
Jared Payne
English 11
Mrs. Brown
5 December 2014
Pro evolution: Why? Creation versus evolution is a highly argumentative topic, especially in today s
society. A recent debate, between Bill Nye The Science Guy and Ken Ham, has sparked even more
controversy over this particular topic. A poll administered by Gallup shows that forty six percent of
Americans believe God created humans as they are now ten thousand years ago, and that the only
reliable dating system is the Word of God (Lovan 1). Many others believe that humans have evolved
into how they are in present times, and that science, and its ways of dating things, is reliable and
correct. Evolution wins over creationism because Bill Nye won the debate with Ken
Ham, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Some say that Nye won, not only with his facts, but with his style (Chowdhury 2). Because Bill Nye is
representing evolutionists, Payne 2 and he beat Ham, who is representing creationists, this is one of
few signs that signify that evolution beats creation.
Another way that evolution wins over creation is that creationist views threaten the science of the
United States. With almost half of the United States in favor of creation, this could pose a potential
threat to US science. Innovation is in jeopardy if everything known about nature and the universe is
forgotten by ancient text translated into English. The Earth is not
6,000 or 10,000 years old, Nye said in an interview with The Associated Press, citing scientists
estimates that it is about 4.5 billion years old. It s not. And if that conflicts with your beliefs, I strongly
feel you should question your beliefs. [Nye also emphasized that] If we raise a generation of students
who don t believe in the process of science . . . you re not going to continue to innovate Bible stories
are presented as an alternative to evolution in some states, as approved by lawmakers and school
boards. Teachers in Tennessee are protected by a law to let students judge scientific theories, including

The Prohibition Of The Nineteenth Amendment
The prohibition movement was highly successful in achieving government recognition of the

Comparing The Stereotypes Of The Gibson Girl
United States is the creator of many of the beauty stereotypes that are active until now such as Barbie
doll, Disney s princess and others. The first American stereotype was the Gibson Girl. It was created
by an American illustrator Charles Dana Gibson. The Gibson girl was the idea of perfect women in the
early XX century until the First World War.
The illustration had appeared in popular magazines, it not only had showed physical ideas, and it also
had represented the behavior and the social status of the perfect American women in that time. Gibson
girls had portrayed the new woman a women who was educated, taking advantage from the access that
women obtained to have secondary and college education; a woman who had more independence.
The Gibson girl was illustrated like a Caucasian woman, tall and slim with a body in S shape helped
by the corset. The facial features were big eyes and a tiny mouth and nose. The hair also was very
iconic, Gibson girls wore their hair swept up into a twisted bun called chignon showing the neck. This

gold medal (for 1st place), a bronze medal (for 2nd place), and a bronze medal (for 3rd place).
Athletes can get money for placing. Different countries offer different amounts of money to the
athletes, and the winnings actually vary greatly. Some countries, like the United Kingdom, don t offer
money to the medalist at all. However, in the United States of America Gold medal winners receive
$25,000 before taxes. Silver medal winners receive $15,000, and bronze winners receive $10,000. For
team sports like gymnastics, the winnings are not split among members each athlete receives the
winning amount. Eighty years later, when the 2004 Summer Olympics returned to Athens for the first
time in more than a century, nearly 11,000 athletes from a record 201 countries competed. In a gesture
that joined both ancient and modern Olympic traditions, the

And, Like The Fairs, Reflect American Urbanism And The
and, like the fairs, reflect American urbanism and the progressions of industry. According to his
colleagues, this ambition had always been apparent from day one. Walt s involvement with world fairs
has been recorded as much as possible, showing that he attended at least four Exposition s. Most
notably, his integration of Audio Animatronics in the Ford and General Electric pavilions at the 1964
New York world s fair (Chappell 2015). The fairs displayed agencies separated by avenues of people
circulating one central vantage point. This point provides reference to the fair s entirety not unlike

After introducing the idea to the Imagineers, Walt s team drew up renderings and visuals to bring the
concept to life. The result: an idealistic, retro designed city that could be taken straight from the 1920
s. Walt often sought advice from the acclaimed American architect, Welton Becket, who was a close
friend and neighbour to the Disney family. Becket s firm had designed buildings that lay on the
Anaheim site and Walt took inspiration from his forms and relayed them to the team behind Project X.
The lead project Imagineer, Marvin Davis drew up Walt s idea and laboured for days on end in a
secretive studio called the Florida Room to produce an array of paintings and sketches showing the
community. The futurist approach is a small step in the direction we have been pursuing as architects
for the most part the twenty first century: ecological design. Another key point that has been
discussed, is the communities optimistic attempt to convey an efficient economic situation within such
planned contemporary development. A bold decision of that time, in relation to the drastic absence of
affordable housing during the 60 s and their place in America s struggling urban lexicon (Neglia
2016). The design stages were well underway until a major setback in 1965 which effectively put the
project out of service for good. Davis recalls Walt seeking architectural assistance for the projects

Biometrics Of The Criminal Justice System
Biometrics In The Criminal Justice System
Ever heard the saying along the lines of everyone is unique in their own way ? When it comes to
biometric, that saying is very accurate due to the fact that uniqueness the basic premise of biometrics.
Biometrics is one of the most effective technologies that is used to distinguish the variances of
individuals (Cantore, 2011). Biometrics focuses on the minor and major differences of individuals by
using many different methods as well as features. Throughout the years, biometrics has been used to
authenticate individuals identities. In this paper I will be explaining what biometrics is as well as
describing its effectiveness, accuracy, and legality. I will also examine court cases involving ... Show

Examples of the different types of biometrics that individuals use every day are: using a fingerprint to
lock a cellphone, automatically getting tagged in Facebook photos, and simply saying a phase to
unlock a door or computer. Though there are many different types of biometrics systems currently on
the market, they all successfully identify and authenticate people with a high degree of accuracy
(Coleman, 2000) and are used by people in many different career fields.
Is it effective and accurate?
One may ask, how effective and accurate is biometric technology? Well to give you an idea of its
effectiveness and accuracy, biometrics is currently being used by law enforcement agencies across the
world. The first type of biometrics used by law enforcement agencies was fingerprinting, which began
almost a century ago (Coleman, 2000). Finger prints are one of the most common biometric modality
due to the fact that no two fingerprints are exactly alike ( Fingerprints Other Biometrics , n.d.;
Coleman, 2000). Through fingerprints law enforcement agents have been able to catch criminals,
solve crimes, and keep criminal records (Coleman, 2000). Cameras at stop lights, toll bridges, and
even on law enforcement officers cars automatically capture pictures of vehicle license plates in less
than seconds. Also, thermal cameras are often used in locating individuals who are lost or in hiding.

Art As An Obscenity
Art as obscenity and the argument
What defines something as obscene? More over, what does the term obscenity mean? The
interpretation of the word has differed in communities; styles and scenes whether it is unacceptable or
favorable a great deal of arguable queries have arisen not only in the art community but most of the
population. Obscenity is a constitutionally unprotected form of speech (About Us Art Law Library:
Obscenity. Avaliable at: http://ncac.org/resource/art law library obscenity) although obscenity may be
examined cautiously by few, the issue around the interpretation is deliberated in today s court system
regularly. The Hicklin or also known as the Roth test first declared a legal examination in 1868 to be
conducted for obscenity, the court held that all material tending to deprave and corrupt those whose
minds are open to such immoral influences was obscene, regardless of its artistic history. (Ducat, C.R.
(2008) p.540) It was also decided that to be declared obscene one must or ones work must lack serious
literary, artistic, political, or scientific value (Waxman, O. (2016) Time) The later decision to retire the
Hitchin law reasoning stated by Justice William, J. Brennan JR settled that the opinion of obscenity is
utterly without redeeming social importance (West s Encyclopedia of American Law, edition 2. The
Gale Group) which in response to that meant it was no longer protected by the First Amendment. 1996

Essay On Leopo
Since the company is considering a large technology upgrade, I have included two possible laptop and
phone options for my position. One option is Apple products, the other is not, as the company is
exploring the option of switching primarily to Apple products. The first option (option A) is a
combination of a Lenovo laptop and Samsung Galaxy Note 8 mobile phone. The second option is a
combination of the iPad Pro and iPhone 8. Either option would suit my needs well and could be
chosen based upon if the company switches to Apple or stays with the PC/Android based products.
The computer in option A is the Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 510. The features that this computer owns

The chosen computer is the iPad Pro tablet. Functioning as such, the iPad Pro is light, portable, and
has a long lasting battery, suitable for longer trips required for the position. It has a standard RAM of
256 GB and a quick processor at 2.4GHz with a clear resolution screen that will make completing
tasks easier and faster.
I have also chosen to complete the iPad Pro with the additional keyboard, as it is not included with the
machine (unlike the Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 510). This is an additional cost, but necessary to complete
the job.
In addition to the computer and keyboard for option B, I have chosen the iPhone 8. The connectivity
between two devices will make transferring information from one to the other effortless and easy to
manage. The iPhone 8 has a faster CPU, which is nearly 70% faster than its predecessor and this
difference means that I will be able to have decision making information for our customers. While
upfront costs are quite substantial, the necessity of a phone is essential.
Above is the comparison table between the Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 510 and the Apple iPad Pro. While
both computers are impressive, upon further inspection, the Lenovo has a larger screen and an
impressive RAM capability, yet it does not have the battery life of the iPad Pro. However, as noted
before, there is an additional processor. It also has Bluetooth capability that will allow communication
between phone and computer, quite similar to Apple/Mac s feature mentioned

An Analysis Of Media In Social Media
This step will involve an analysis of media, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Plus, and Twitter to
market oneself and grow their career. The social applications have not only expanded the job market
but have also developed tools that marketers can use to develop their own business consulting services
online. The primary social media channel of choice will be LinkedIn, which is a professional
networking site with over half a billion active e users engaging in different forums and LinkedIn
groups. It is a site that over 90% of recruitment firms and 85% of hiring managers utilize to find
candidates (Shin, 2014).
Penetrating the LinkedIn media platform will require dedication and proper care not to dent a person s

Step 3: Integrate Strategies
The main objective of the strategy will entail growing one s social media presence and finding the
right connections. Therefore, LinkedIn will be the right tool to integrate to one s offline job search and
career growth. Penetrating the social media sites will require proper planning, determination,
creativity and consistency. The main strategy will entail posting quality content to offer industrial
advice, periodical reports and corporate analysis (Johnson, 2017).
The strategy will be mixed with offline engagements which will include attending at niche based
professional career events and industrial marketing network conferences created by individuals within
my online social circles as an opportunity to have face to face conversations. After creating an online
presence, the only way to stand out from the rest of the professionals looking for jobs and career
opportunities will be to develop and manage a group with common interest as a long term strategy
from where one can grow as a marketing consultant.

Essay On Graphical And Command Line Interface
5. Evaluation The creation of our graphical and Command Line interface came about as a means of
testing our algorithms. Since we were attempting to mine associations from large datasets, it made
sense to test our mining algorithms on artificially created datasets so as to check whether or not our
algorithms were successful. Therefore, we devised the graphical interface to allow us to create
sufficiently large datasets based upon association rules. This allowed us to plant specific rules with set
supports and confidence with in our test datasets. We were then able to run our test datasets through
our association mining algorithms to verify whether or not the algorithms correctly identified the rules
which we had planted with the correct ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
6. Conclusion and Future Extensions This project was one of our top choices specifically because it
approached a very interesting problem while giving us the opportunity to work with a renowned
company. We had the chance to expand our machine learning knowledge, enhance our technical
abilities and get an insight into what it is like to work with a real client from industry. This experience
was challenging as we found out clients can be difficult to work with and sometimes unreliable.
Therefore, one of our main gains from this project is that we learned how to overcome non ideal
situations that arise due to uncooperative clients. We also strengthened our team work skills as well as
our time management aptitudes, due to using the Scrum methodology. As we were very fond of the
idea that stood behind our project, we tried to implement it at the best of our abilities. We wanted to
make it accessible to everyone, not only companies in the financial sector and we had multiple
thoughts on how to achieve this. Unfortunately, due to the limited time we could not put all of them
into practice. One of the future extensions that we considered was changing the internal representation
of association rules and the associated values such as support and confidence. We

My Writing Of A College Level Writing Course
At the beginning of the term, I came into this class not feeling very confident about my writing. I had
taken writing classes in the past, but none to the extent of a college level writing course. One of the
skills that I found I lacked the most was my vocabulary. While my writing structure was often not a
problem my writing did not sound as sophisticated as it could be. I occasionally used a thesaurus but
this would often cause problems as sometimes the words would not quite agree with the meaning of
my sentence. Throughout the term the one thing that helped me the most with this problem were the
workshops. As my peers corrected my paper they helped me to come up with more intelligent words
to get my point across to the reader. I believe that without the inclusion of these workshops my essays
would not have been as cleanly written. For upcoming classes one aspect of writing that I would like
to focus on is my ability to stay on topic. A lot of the time I tend to become so engulfed in one
reasoning for my argument that my mind begins to wander elsewhere. Ultimately my essay structure
will suffer because of this, so in order to stay more focused I want to start making outlines before I
write out my essays. With an outline it will be easier for me to stay on topic since I will have a
structure to follow. Also by having an outline I can find my quotes and compose my topic sentences
ahead of time, making it easier for me to see if my ideas will fit well together. This will also

Art Form Of Music
Music is art form that doubles up as a form of expression. Depending on where you are from and or
where you live the music that is readily available will vary. For example, the most popular genres
around where I live go from country music to rap and hip hop. One of the biggest factors of how
music is developed is the cultural background that it comes from. Ancient tribal societies have used
music as a foundation for gatherings and to express history. In reality, music has been around for
thousands of years and people were expressing it way before the 21st century.
Music helps define character and allows self expression in a more unique matter. For instance, folk
music, this type of music originates in traditional popular culture and is typically of unknown
authorship. Most rap artists nowadays write about drugs and making money but others are just using it
as a reflection of what s going on around them. There is a rap artist named J Cole who particularly
raps about real life problems and what s going on around him in the city where he s from. To people
who don t live in the ghetto or a poverty struck area, living in the hood isn t as bad as it seems, but for
people that live there, it s terrifying real. J Cole takes elements of what s going on around him, what
he grew up around and personal experiences he s faced. In addition there is a song called Immortal by
J Cole which was released on his new album 4 Your Eyez Only. In the song, Jermaine (J Cole)

Effects Of The Hukou System
As we have discussed in the previous part, the Hukuo system worked as a door guard in the command
economy. However, the world changes everyday. We should look at both goods and harms of Hukou
approach in order to evaluate the effectiveness of Hukou system in todays world. Although it brought
benefit to the state, it also becomes a giant stumbling block for China. In this part, analysis will be
elaborated based on two aspects: positive and negative effects.
Regarding to Wang, the major functions of Hukuo system can be divided into four parts (2008).

up Hukou system aims to achieve social harmony but the rigid system of Hukou has gone against it

Descriptive Essay About Yi Li
I came into the world, one fall windy night, on September 7, 2000, exactly 4 minutes behind my twin
sister. At 12:04 in the morning, when the roads were quiet except for the cries of the new born babies
at Brooklyn, New York hospital, I was born. My parents told me that my hand, not my head, came out
first. The reason behind this was because I was clinging to Yi Wen s leg with a firm grip and refused to

immediately after I was born, I cried and cried, and thrashed around with such force that my parents

but as I grew up, I found myself pondering; why was I named this name? My name was chosen before
I was born. Knowing that we were twin girls, my parents thought of names that would fit for twins.
After consulting with my grandparents, known to be very wise when it came to Chinese characters and
poetry; the names Yi Wen and Yi Ling were chosen. The Ling in my name is a Chinese character that
represents one who is full of spirit, energy, and thinks very logically. So when my parents saw me as

lead to food poisoning which means the food has been contaminated by bacteria. Studies show that 5.5

  • 3. The Italian People, Culture and Cities in Movies,... (1) How do the films discussed link the concepts of ‚crime and ‚travelling ? What makes travelling such an interesting phenomenon within the crime genre? Please also refer to the narrative structure of crime films. Travelling has used to be an activity that entirely differs from our everyday life, an escape in order to find authenticity. Travelling forces people from their comfort zones and lead to new emotions, new actions, new perceptions, acquired through the prism of another reality. For a long time it has been a privilege available only for a group of eligible. Not surprisingly, the idea of interconnectivity between crime and travelling is highly exploited in the movie industry exposing the gap between expectations and reality, between dream world and real world. Both the notion of crime and travelling are built around the idea of observing spaces and places, people and their actions with the possibility of expectations being destroyed at any moment. Often tourists try to plan their trips with the smallest details to avoid any unpredictable situation, especially nowadays in the time of the easy accessible images and reviews about destinations. They are very persistent in their attempts to establish an order on a world. Crime stories are also concerned with this idea. The most thrilling effect in movies can be achieved by putting crime and travelling into one story. When touristic stereotypes are destroyed, anticipated actions are not performed, seeming strong ... • 4. Music Is A Major Part Of Everyday Life Music is a major part of everyday life. There are not many people that do not listen to music. Music has been a gradual piece that has changed and evolved over time. From the beginning of time where only simple melodies where being played on instruments made of animal parts to present day where there is a mixture of visual representations and various melodies being played at once. This is all due to the contributions of many artists over the years. Some of these artists where most influential during the early 1700s around the time classic and baroque music were prevalent. Other artists like the ones today have been influenced by past composers. This is just a way that although there are many branches to music each artists influence and works can all be seen together under one big music family. One of the most well known and influential artists of the 1700s was Ludwig Van Beethoven. Beethoven was born on December 17th 1770 in Germany. His father was a musician for a court. During the 1700s top musicians played in courts meaning for the royals of the country. They were regarded as royalty and important people because they played for king and higher class people. It was said the Beethoven s father was an alcoholic, this caused him to be a violent stern man. He was very strict with his children. Beethoven s mother was the opposite. She was said to be a kind and gentle woman. Woman that loved and cared for her children. She was the opposite of her husband. Beethoven used to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. A New Evolutionary Technique Big Bang Big Crunch Optimization In previous chapters, the advantages and disadvantages of several modulation methods for multilevel converter have been summarized. In this chapter Fourier series and harmonic elimination theory is discussed briefly to derive the transcendental equations for the fundamental frequency switching method for multilevel inverter. In the second part of this chapter a new evolutionary technique Big Bang Big Crunch optimization is used for solving the transcendental equations for the fundamental frequency switching method for multilevel inverters. There are numerous methods which are as follows like (SPWM) First Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation, (MCPWM)Second, Multi Carrier Pulse Width Modulation and (SHE PWM) and Selective Harmonic Elimination Pulse Width Modulation which are implemented for harmonic elimination specially in multilevel inverter. (MCPWM)Multi Carrier Pulse Width Modulation strategies are widely used, because they can be easily implemented to low voltage modules. Normally MCPWM can be classified and categorized as Level Shifted PWM (LS PWM) and Phase Shifted PWM (PS PWM) methods. (LS PWM) Level Shifted PWM are characterized into three which are Firstly ,Phase Disposition Technique (PD), secondly ,Phase Opposition Disposition Technique (POD) thirdly Alternative Phase Opposition Disposition Technique (APOD) [45] [46] [47]. For the systems where high switching efficiency is needed, it is required and desirable to keep switching frequency much lower. In this state, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Mexican American Studies Should Not Be Banned America is woven of many strands. Our fate is to become one, and yet many (Ralph Ellison qtd. in D Angelo). Although this quote may be over fifty years old, its meaning still stands; our country should be made of many different cultures and ethnicities that come together to make one United States. However, this cannot be accomplished if our nation does not allow for different cultures to learn about their own country and hold on to their heritage as well as gaining knowledge on the history of the United States. Thus, Mexican American studies should not be banned in Arizona because contrary to the belief that learning about other cultural struggles is anti American, actually focusing on the racial identities within the United States is an important step towards becoming a multicultural nation. The United States of America is a nation based on the idea of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of happiness, the people from this country have an obligation to make sure that every American can experience these given rights. However by banning Mexican American studies in Arizona, this right to express and learn about their culture is taken away. According to Kirk Semple of the New York Times, about 41 percent of all Mexicans between ages 16 and 19 [in the city] have dropped out of school. There could be a plethora of reasons why this statistic may be so high for Mexican Americans, however, based on the statements made by students in the documentary Precious Knowledge, there ... George Washington did many incredible things as president like writing and following through on his inaugural address, accomplishing many notable tasks, keeping America neutral from the war, and he proclaimed Thanksgiving. George Washington was a Founding Father of America, and a president who paved the way for generations of presidents to come. George Washington became the first United States president on April 30, 1789. The Fast Runner, Atanarjuat, is fighting with the evil spirit and this film shows his encounters with the legendary spirit. The creation of this film can also be used as a way to enlighten people about the lives and culture of Native Americans in the Arctic. While watching this film I found the storyline to be very basic. If I were in their situation I would have tried staying in a quiet room in my house to clear out my mind, sit in a bathtub with cold water for the pond, and listen to music for rolling the ancestor rock. The new rituals that they tried were sitting in a freezer for soaking, carried bowling balls for the ancestor rock, and sat at a park to become invisible. These rituals did work because Cole never went back to jail and Peter didn t have ideas to commit suicide. For clearing out my mind and trying to become invisible, I would have sat in my room where it is quiet. Cole and Peter use to sit in the park and close their eyes to become invisible. One quote from the book is Reaching the park, they picked a comfortable patch of grass under a big Norway pine . The Convergence Of Methods Of Storing Files Americans today have seen the progression from old media to new media; majority, experiencing for themselves the transition from pagers to cell phones, cassettes to iPods, or paper maps to GPS devices. According to Henry Jenkins, who studies media convergence, this Convergence [where old and new media collide] represents a cultural shift as consumers are encouraged to seek out new information and make connections among dispersed media content (Jenkins 457). It is through the help of convergence that old media has developed into the new media Americans see today. The convergence of methods of storing files is an example of this. Dropbox is a cloud storage service; a business that overlooks a users data and makes that data accessible online. Because Dropbox has introduced people to the idea of accessing wireless data, this reveals how this type of new media has changed the way that content is produced, distributed, and consumed. Although the use of either a USB Flash Drive (old media) or Dropbox (new media) maintains the same objective, that is, to provide people with alternate methods of storing data, Dropbox is becoming a standard way of accessing data with the use of the internet as a platform. This in turn, benefits Dropbox users somewhat. One benefit of transitioning from a USB Flash Drive to Dropbox is that Dropbox allows easy access to documents. Dropping files into Dropbox essentially stores these files on the online cloud, where users can access their files anywhere and at any time as long as users have access to internet connection. There are three methods in which Dropbox users can easily access their documents. The first is through the Dropbox website. Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz Essay Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz The book, Stormbreaker, by Anthony Horowitz is about a boy named Alex, whose uncle had just died in a car crash (or so they say). He finds out that his uncle was really shot by a man named Yassen Gregorovich. Alex s uncle, Ian Rider, really worked for MI6. He was a spy that was hired by MI6 to figure out the secret behind Herod Sayle and his Stormbreaker computers that he was donating to every school in England. Ian Rider had figured out the secret, but before he could reveal it to MI6, he was shot and killed. Alex s uncle was the only family he had left, and so it deeply affected him. Right when she said, I m feeling dizzy, you go on, I knew she was tricking him. I was also surprised that Sayle had implanted the small pox virus into the Stormbreaker computers that he was sending out to every school (p. 186). That was how he planned to harm everybody in England. I really admire the character of Alex because he is very courageous and intelligent. At the beginning of the book, Alex wanted to find out if the story about his uncle getting in a car accident was true or not, so he went to the auto wreckage center nearest his house to search for the car. Once he had been searching a lot for the vehicle, he ended up finding it to see it in perfect condition except for bullet holes in the windshield (p. 19). He heard people coming, so he hid inside the car. Then a big crane picked the car up and starting smashing it in a machine, with Alex still inside! After all the struggling, he managed to get out of the car just before it went through the part of the machine that totally crushes the car into a cylinder (p. 24). I felt pretty bad for Alex. It must have been hard for him to have to go through a really brutal training camp for something he didn t even want to do, especially since he had just lost his last family member. Creation versus evolution is a highly argumentative topic, especially in today s society. A recent debate, between Bill Nye The Science Guy and Ken Ham, has sparked even more controversy over this particular topic. A poll administered by Gallup shows that forty six percent of Americans believe God created humans as they are now ten thousand years ago, and that the only reliable dating system is the Word of God (Lovan 1). Many others believe that humans have evolved into how they are in present times, and that science, and its ways of dating things, is reliable and correct. Some say that Nye won, not only with his facts, but with his style (Chowdhury 2). Because Bill Nye is representing evolutionists, Payne 2 and he beat Ham, who is representing creationists, this is one of few signs that signify that evolution beats creation. Another way that evolution wins over creation is that creationist views threaten the science of the United States. With almost half of the United States in favor of creation, this could pose a potential threat to US science. Innovation is in jeopardy if everything known about nature and the universe is forgotten by ancient text translated into English. The Earth is not 6,000 or 10,000 years old, Nye said in an interview with The Associated Press, citing scientists estimates that it is about 4.5 billion years old. It s not. And if that conflicts with your beliefs, I strongly feel you should question your beliefs.
