American Declaration Of Independence Analysis
Introduction Like most momentous declaration documents in the history of governments, the
American Declarations of Independence is a document that represents a specific historical era. The
universal human right concept occupies over 20% of the document while the rest of document details
the alleged atrocities that the colonial government had committed. The list of the grievances is long.
This paper looks at the most critical points in the declaration and those that the writer does not think as
very important. The Most Critical Grievances The idea that King of England was the only person
responsible with appointing judges and imposing them on the colonist was very contentious. King
George would appoint and send judges from London. This did not go down well the colonists in
America. The concept of administration of justice is a very volatile subject and has the capacity to
affect a wide range of people ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
All civilized people would wish to be part of the process through which the laws that govern then is
brought about. These laws are either passed by consensus through a referendum or by legislation
through elected representatives of the people. The population will always revolt against laws they
perceive to be foreign as they do not believe that they are in their best interest. King George
dissolution of the Representative Houses repeatedly due to their opposition to invasions of people
rights was vigorously opposed. Representative Houses would be viewed by the colonist as advancing
their agenda in the legislations they debate and pass. The mandate of these houses is to debate pass all
legislations that impact positively on the people. All those legislation that infringe on the rights of the
people should be rejected. Dissolving the Representative Houses for fulfilling its mandate is
dictatorial and unacceptable. Less Critical

The Characteristics Of Classism In The Classical Period
The Classical period, sometimes called the Hellenic period, began in the 5th and 4th centuries BC.
During the Classical period, Greece succeeded its maximum level of success both culturally and
economically. The ancient Greeks strode to perfect both the body and mind. Classism has caused a
significant amount of changes in the art world which allowed them to express themselves through
their art spiritually. Classism s qualities still are featured throughout the artworks that are being made
today. Some of this movement s features would include how most of the sculptures that are done are
idealized. Idealism is when someone is painted, or sculpted with the ideal body and face. Realism is
another feature in Classical Art. Realism is seeking truth through the artwork, they could no longer
achieve the look they were going for by just chiseling away at a block of stone. Therefore, they based
they techniques on modelling, by building first out of clay on new models and then they would copy
them into stone. One of the last main features in this movement would be how mathematically correct
everything is. Artists in these eras were very conscious about correct proportions, measurements, and
symmetry. That is how those artists made it possible to create such perfect and idealized masterpieces.
A sculptural example of Classical Art is The Spear Bearer . This entailed careful observation of a
model as well as understanding of the mechanics of anatomy of how a body shifts from a pose,

How Did The League Of Nations A Success
The League of Nations was supposed to be an international organization that would help solve
disputes between the different countries to avoid future wars and bring lasting peace. It was endorsed
on January 10th, 1920 with its headquarters located in Geneva, Switzerland. The League was created
and introduced by President Woodrow Wilson of the United States of America along with his Fourteen
Points, a plan listing terms which he believed must be comprised in the Peace Treaty of Versailles
which would bring an end to World War I. Many nations were members of the League, and it did help
resolve certain issues, but unfortunately, there were quite as many failures as there were triumphs.
Eventually though, the League failed and led to World War II, only to be replaced by the United
Nations in 1946. The League of Nations, meant to be a strong power and keep peace with all nations
who were members, was only a weak and virtually power less organization. President Woodrow
Wilson created the League of Nations and used his immense influence to attempt to achieve its
success. He believed that it would guarantee lasting world peace and resolve any disputes between
nations. President Clemenceau of France and Prime Minister Loyd George of Great Britain, while
highly doubting that the League would succeed, supported it in order that Wilson would support their
plan of revenge on Germany. He was able, with the support from Clemenceau and George, to attach
the Covenant of the League to the

A Historical Analysis Of August Wilson
As Sam Pollard, director of the PBS special August Wilson: The Ground of Which I Stand, asserts,
August Wilson may be regarded as an American Shakespeare, for his body of work really covers the
whole 20th century of American history...and there is no other American playwright who did that body
of work over a period of time. (American Masters, August Wilson: The Ground of Which I Stand)
While such grand comparisons may or may not be merited, August Wilson s Pittsburg Cycle stands as
a literary, historical, and cultural feat in which Wilson illustrates, teaches, and preserves the African
American experience through an exploration into the poetics of the Blues. No literary scholar would
deny this claim; and this assertion remains completely ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
You don t sing to feel better. You sing cause that s a way of understanding life.
CUTLER: That s right. You get that understanding and you done got a grip on life to where you can
hold your head up and go on to see what else life got to offer.
MA RAINEY: The blues help you get out of bed in the morning. You get up knowing you aint alone.
Tire s something else in the world. Something s been added by that song. This be an empty world
without the blues. I take that emptiness and try to fill it up with something. (Wilson, 82 83)
In this respect, the blues functions as a means of moving through suffering. Just as musicians in the
band play the blues, the blues makes instruments out of the musicians. Levee, a brash trumpeter, wants
to move on from traditional blues music and into more energizing Jazz, an increasingly popular genre.
Levee wants to neglect the past, and the blues function as a reawakening to the dark reality of African
American history. Being fully cognizant of one s ancestral origins and how understanding how it may
help in the present is ultimately not important to Levee I know he ain t talking about me. You don t see
me running around with no bone in my nose. (Wilson, 32) Larry Neal, the author of The Black Arts
Movement published in Drama Review, elaborates on this connection between the Blues and history:

The Enigma Of Capital And The Crisis Of Capitalism
A Critical Review of David Harvey s The Enigma of Capital and the Crisis of Capitalism Sudheer

In writing this paper, I have abided by the Honor Code at UNC Chapel Hill.

The Enigma of Capital and the Crisis of Capitalism is a forum for author David Harvey to voice his
concerns on the contemporary global capitalist model. As a Marxist geographer and anthropologist,
Harvey analyzes modern capitalism through a lens of skepticism that results in a scathing renunciation
of the capitalist goals of perpetual accumulation and creative destruction. Harvey argues that in a
world constrained by scarce resources and burgeoning social barriers, the capitalist process produces a
strange dynamic that oscillates between periods of crisis and boom (40). In the end the capitalist may
be able to hedge against her losses, but the vast majority of the population will wallow in the
doldrums, enslaved by the power of capital and unable to pull themselves up by their bootstraps. Such
is the extent of the problem we face in the wake of the Great Recession. The economy continues to
grow modestly, while median household income shrinks (Noss 2). The capitalists are reloading once
again at the expense of Main Street. As Harvey points out, there is a great need to reevaluate of our
views of modern capitalism. The Enigma of Capital is just a starting point.
Harvey begins his analysis of capitalism with a

Theme Of Nature In Brave New World
There are many conflicts that arise during the first third of this novel, but they all tie in to the basic
theme that is to do with nature and the destruction of humanity through the conditioning of human
minds, to be happy . There are many scenes in the book that show how the people or that specific
scene can be used against the World State, in order to explain that the world state is identify
individuals and making them like everyone else. This ideal perfect futuristic society is a driving force
of the novel and of all the actions that occur throughout Brave New World.

Human nature in Brave New World is suggestions, according to the World State. Suggestions are
voluntary, therefore when human beings are being conditioned, they are not voluntarily agreeing to
this action, therefore whatever action is observed, we know that it is occurring due to the altercation of
their human nature. The entire novel is set in a dystopian themed perfect reality, that can be seen as far
from normal, as perfection is rarely achieved now in the 21st century. After humans are conditioned,
since a young age, they begin to grow older and believe that homes are stiflingly over inhabited by a

In November of 1938, riots were swarming the streets. Then the riots started murdering Jews,
destroying and demolishing other people s property. That night was called Kristallnacht. By far,
Kristallnacht was the largest, most destructive, and most clearly orchestrated of the pogroms. Pogroms
is a Russian word meaning devastation. In the first three months of Hitler ruling, over forty Jews were
murdered. Hitler ruled from 1934 to 1945. He decided that he was going to try to rule during The

William Faulkner s The Golden Compass
The Golden Compass is a fantasy book of a series, called His Dark Materials. This is a book for
adolescents and teenagers. Some of the material would be hard for a younger minor to understand.
Adolescents and teens would find it more captivating as they can relate to experiences and thoughts of
the main character. Adults could be interested in this story with the fantasy twist, but would not really
understand as a younger audience would. I very much enjoyed reading it. The characters were
concrete. The fantasy of it was dazzling, at times scary, but still alluring. Yet, at times, it was hard to
follow. The book had shown me more that people are not always what they seem and to trust your
instincts. In the story, we are mainly from the perspective of an adolescent child named Lyra who
grew up in a college, known as Jordan. In this fiction, there are witches; polar bears that are called ice
bears, but the ice bears are like humans; Gobblers that kidnap kids; and every human being have a
soul that walks beside them know as daemons. After the Gobblers kidnap Lyra s best friend, Roger,
Lyra swears to rescue him and her Uncle Asriel. Who was imprisoned in the ice bears glacier fortress.

California Government Structure Essay
Structure of California s Government
Headed by the governor of the state, the state govt. of CA replicates the Federal govt. It has three
branches that perform their assigned tasks and keep within the limits set by the constitution. These
branches are:
Legislature
Executive
Judiciary
While this division has been created to give structure to the government and ensure its smooth and
effective functioning, there is, more importantly, the need to keep the power of the branches in check
and to make them accountable to each other. There is a system of checks and balances that comes into
play with this segregation of duties and separation of power. This system s inception has been
attributed to Montesquieu. (Wikipedia.org)

Governor s Budget Power: 3
Governor s Veto Power: 5
Governor s Institutional Power: 3.2 (3.4 in 2000)
The Governor Rating in the year 2000 placed CA s governor at an overall rating of 3.4 and a rank of
29 among the nation.
What is interesting to note is the rating given to Power of the Legislature to Change Governor s
Budget which was 1 on a 1 5 scale in a study conducted by Dr.Thad Beyle. This shows the CA
governor as wielding a certain amount of influence in the legislature s passing of his proposed budget,
Of course, the constitution mandates that the budget be balanced and, if not, then the previous year s
budget remain effective. This already puts limitations and expectations in the budget s formulation.
Executive Order
Another form of legislation is an executive order. Executive orders as issued by state governors are not
laws, but do have the same binding nature.

Importance Of Descartes On Physiology
Hitherto, I have explained some elements concerning Descartes and vitalistic theories about
physiology. On the one hand, I have highlighted that Descartes approach to physiology is founded on
his mechanical conception of nature, which allows him to use the laws of nature in order to explain the
particular functioning of the human body. In general, Descartes argues that God creates matter in a
uniform way and he separates it, creating individual bodies, through the introduction of motion in the
system. Accordingly, Descartes conception of matter denies the very possibility of the existence of
certain individual properties of matter, on the assumption that every matter particle has been created in
the same way and is affected by the same laws. Thus, Descartes explains that the laws of nature have a
broad scope, and their universal application is based on the metaphysical conception of the regularity

For instance, in his World, Descartes explains that heat and light are explicable in terms of the motion
of the particles which constitute the flame or the Sun the luminescent bodies of nature. In his
description, Descartes argues that When flame burns wood or some other similar material, we can see
with the naked eye it sets the minute parts of the wood in motion and separates them from one another,
thus transforming the finer parts into fire, air and smoke, and leaving the coarser parts as ashes (AT
XI, 7). Clearly, this mechanical explanation contradicts the vitalist conception of the qualities of the
bodies which make them flammable. In vitalistic terms, the capacity of burning a body has is
explained because of a quality in it which makes it flammable: a heat quality or a light quality
explains the presence of this visible effects in bodies like the Sun or a flame. For Descartes, this
positions are nothing but the result of a productive

Imagery Test Anxiety
Imagery Methods for Test Anxiety
Test anxiety has always been an issue I have struggled with and it has only increased since I started
University. My personal experience with test anxiety leads to physiological symptoms such as nervous
jitter, accelerated heart beats and light headedness, all of which impacts my test taking skills and
influence my decision making ability. This is a problem because although I am prepared with the
knowledge for an exam, it still affects my judgement when writing my answers and thus causes an
impact on my grades.
A study by Rebecca Stephens (1992), Imagery: A Treatment for Nursing Student Anxiety , explained
imagery methods that were proven effective among nursing students experiencing similar anxiety.
Nursing students are subjected to midterms and exams as are students in other programs, and although
the material is different it is the fear before writing a test that causes the anxiety. This makes it

Pedagogy In Education And Class Politics
Pedagogy is the practice of methods and strategies of teaching, and education is the knowledge given
to individuals using pedagogy. Pedagogy can influence a lot of people, and help them understand

and others by their ambitions. Pragmatism which means to accomplish something in life, is done by

John Dewey promotes his belief that these kinds of active learning experiences are crucial for the
mental growth of a child. Dewey suggests experiences such as taking children outside to explore
nature and geography, and starting school gardens so children can learn about agriculture.
Nonetheless, One of John Dewey s main objections to the traditional model of education involves its
focus on curriculum over the individual student. John Dewey believed that the student should
participate in their own learning, and that the student own motivation was a large factor in the amount
the student would learn in school. Therefore, Dewey argued, the educational process should be
tailored to the individual student in order to maximize the student s motivation to learn. One method
of achieving this is to relate the curriculum to a subject of individual interest for the student. Another
issue raised by John Dewey was the school s role not just as a place for students to gain academic
knowledge, but as a place where for the learning of life skills and social behavior. Dewey thought that
such general life skills and practical learning were just as important as the academic curriculum being
taught. He also argued that the life lessons students learned during their education would be a key
factor in social

Comparison Between My Last Duchess Ulysses Regarding...
Question : What is a dramatic monologue? Which of the two, in your opinion, is the stronger dramatic
monologue in Tennyson s Ulysses or Browning s My Last Duchess ?
Answer : Traditionally dramatic monologue is a lyrical poem in the form of speech spoken by a single
man. It is dramatic because it begins abruptly and in the development of its thought it takes several
sudden turns which impart dramatic dimension to the poem. In a dramatic monologue the single
speaker reveals his thoughts in the presence of a single silent listener or some silent listeners. The
speaker is not necessarily the poet himself though the speaker often gives out the poet s belief and
philosophy. The speaker s revelation, in fact, leads the readers to probe ... Show more content on

He tells them, you and I are old. These are the clues which lead us to believe that other mariners are
present but they do not speak. Telemachus presence is also felt. Tennyson here follows the tradition of
allowing one person to speak and keeping others silent. In My Last Duchess we see the same thing. As
the poem progresses, it becomes clear that only a single person speaks. The speaker is the Duke of
Ferrara who is talking about his dead Duchess portrait painted by Fra Pandolf. At several points of the
poem it becomes evident that there is a listener who remains silent. For example, when the duke says
Will t please you sit and look at her? or Will t you please rise? we understand that someone is present
around him. Later in the poem, we come to know that he is an emissary for the second marriage of the
Duke. Throughout the poem he does not talk. But his reactions are revealed through the Duke s
speech. For example, the clue to understand the surprise in the emissary s face has been revealed by
the Duke himself : so not the first/ Are you to turn and ask thus. We know he does not ask anything
but there has been a question in his countenance. Tennyson reveals his heart s desire in Ulysses . This
is another aspect of dramatic monologue. He says he does not enjoy peaceful life at home, and so, he
wants to set out for new adventures. His inner thoughts have been revealed. However, the revelation is
very simple and plain. The speaker here is

is the severe form and the capillaries become occluded, and new blood vessels are formed to supply
the retina with blood. It is caused by damage to the sensitive blood vessels in the eyes. Retinopathy
can be worsened by severe hypertension because of the additional stress it places on the blood vessels.

Rhetorical Analysis Of David Leonhardt s Deporting...
A Rhetorical Analysis of David Leonhardt s Deporting Dreamers 2017
The job of a writer is never done. New information is always being thrown at writers such as David
Leonhardt, begging to be judged and characterized, not as good nor bad, but worthy of reading.
Immigration is ingrained in our society as Americans, that s how America was born.
In this article, David Leonhardt assesses the ins and outs of illegal immigration, while simultaneously
stating his opinion on the matter. In this article, Leonhardt argues about the severity and use of
prosecutorial discretion on laws of immigration and how it affects the American people.
The author s credibility is established before, throughout, and at the end of the article by giving
sources from media news, such as CNN and other publications from the New York Times. The
problem with CNN being a media news source is that information isn t always proven true and is often
opinionated. On , Karen Douglas, Business Insider, 2017 , from a poll taken of 3000 random
participants, CNN was considered more or less distrustworthy. This poll supports the statistical
evidence that declares CNN s information 47% untrue or false on (CNN File PunditFact 2017) . If
David uses CNN for statistical reports to support his left sided point of view, how can we know if
what he says is even true? We can t. However, the author uses emotional reasoning and empathy to
sway the reader into understanding and accepting his point of view, even if the view is not 100% true.
In the first paragraph, the author presents the reader with multiple quotes from the Former White
House Press Secretary, Sean Spicer. Spicer argues about the subject of prosecutorial discretion against
Dreamer and uses Felony Tax Evasion to explain the absurdity of selectively choosing when to uphold
laws. The author does include a solution from Sean Spicer s quote, saying They should petition our
lawmakers and the government will change it (Spicer Paragraph three). This quote doesn t support the
author s point of view and leaves the reader confused. The author then proceeds to imply that the
President is, Taking to the Extreme when it comes to upholding the law. The author switches tones in
the next paragraph to more of

A Raisin in the Sun
Though there was a heightened sense of tension over civil rights in the late 1950s when A Raisin in the
Sun was written, racial inequality is still a problem today. It affects minorities of every age and
dynamic, in more ways than one. Though nowadays it may go unnoticed, race in every aspect alters
the way African Americans think, behave, and react as human beings. This is shown in many ways in
the play as we watch the characters interact. We see big ideas, failures, and family values through the
eyes of a disadvantaged group during an unfortunate time in history. As Martin Luther King said,
Blacks are ...harried by day and haunted by night by the fact that you are a Negro, living constantly at
tiptoe stance, never quite knowing what ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Toward the end of the play his spirit is broken, and he behaves almost like a madman, plotting to give
in to Lindner and accept his offer; this action greatly worries his mother. The whole time, Walter wasn
t simply looking for a chance to follow through with his plans. He was seeking support from the
system that he found himself subject to. This idea comes up in Gertrude Samuels Even More Crucial
Than in the South. ...the real drive that is now rising ominously is a demand for personal dignity
(Samuels 1546). His personal dignity is at stake repeatedly throughout the story when he finds himself
battling against a troubled family and a corrupt system. The racism steeped social system negatively
affects African American males and females, causing deeply rooted issues. The three women in the
story, Beneatha, Ruth, and Mama, represent the different views Black women took during these
troublesome times. There were women like Beneatha, who didn t want to live the typical life of a wife
and mother, and openly disapproved the assimilation of Blacks into American culture as well: Because
I hate assimilationist Negroes! (Hansberry 1500). She wanted to become highly educated, and to
change the world somehow. She wanted to be something. Beneatha is a very strong willed, hard
headed character. This could very well have been caused by the unfair rules of her time constantly
being reiterated to her through several mediums. Over and over again she is told that she must

Automation and Intelligence Have Changed Agriculture
Agricultural production has increased manifold due to the advent of automation and intelligence in
various stages of a crop s life cycle. Introduction of such processes has led to a significant increase in
the output and reduction in the costs incurred in manual labour and other farm equipment. A scheme
where machine vision is implemented can be used to perceive the position of a fruit for harvesting.
This technology has been used to develop both land and aerial based systems for fruit detection and
harvesting. Machine vision in harvesting is broadly based on visual cues and properties of fruit.
Machine vision based systems have an advantage as apart from recognition of colour, texture and
shape of any object, numerical points for the object are also defined.
The aim of fruit detection is characterized by the following desirable outcomes:
1. Detection of each distinct fruit.
2. Discrimination of the detected fruit from the other parts of the foliage.
3. Localisation of the fruit.
Since its implementation to crop harvesting and other agricultural practices, a lot of attention has been
given to development in machine vision systems to achieve the abovementioned outcomes. But, all of
it has been limited to the field of research with very little commercial outlook. Though, research
outcomes may look bleak, it is a well accepted fact that to achieve very good incidences of fruit
detection a robust machine vision system is essential. This in turn will develop into a robot

Yearly Goals For Achieving Personal Fitness
Yearly Goals At times, we may question the source of our true motivation. Moreover, what may keep
us going and guided in life? Goals play an important role in every aspect of our everyday lives. A goal
is defined as the object of a person s ambition or effort; an aim or desired result . A goal may be as
simple as buying some milk or as complex as buying stocks and shares. A clear, attainable goal can
persuade the most unmotivated person. Upon taking Personal Fitness, I had an idea of how I could
utilize the class to better my physical fitness. Therefore, I set goals to help me improve and ultimately
guide me through the course of the semester. Furthermore, my current goals are to increase my muscle
mass (muscle strength/endurance workouts 2 days per week) and improve my physical fitness (speed,
strength, endurance, etc..). I chose these goals in order to better my overall cardiorespiratory
endurance a my muscular strength, and my muscular endurance using the FITT principle. ... Show

Similarities Between Film, The Crime of Father Amaro and...
Question1 Carlos Carrera s 2002 motion picture The Crime of Father Amaro and José Maria De Eça
de Queirós book The Relic both discuss topics related to religion and to the hypocrisy that some
individuals need to adopt in order to be provided with social acceptance. Society in general is
displayed as an environment where people need to employ false attitudes in order for them to appear
worthy of their peers respect. Religion is seemingly one of the most important values in both works
and it is because of particular individuals exaggerated piousness that some of the characters end up
wanting to pose into something that they are not. Father Amaro is initially shown as an enthusiastic
young priest that is determined to make a change in the small town of Los Reyes. While he appears to
be devoted to his cause, it is gradually revealed that he is as vulnerable to committing sins as any
individual, given that he uses the Church as a tool to appear more religious. Father Benito is very
similar to Father Amaro when considering his tendency to seem dedicated at helping the world while
he is actually cooperating with drug lords. Teodorico, the protagonist in The Relic is an amusing
individual and it appears that the writer intended to portray him in a way meant to emphasize the
hypocrisy present in a great deal of Catholics. Teodorico realizes that his aunt is wrong in putting
across attitudes that are actually only important when regarding matters from an unjust religious

Power In Black Panther
The explosive response that Marvel s Black Panther has received in just a few weeks made it difficult
to go into the film s screening without heightened expectations. The film has been lauded for being
both an exemplary superhero story and one of the most empowering African American films in recent
memory. Having experienced it on the big screen, I can say that you don t need to worry black panther
lives up to the hype.
Black Panther centers around King T Challa (Chadwick Boseman) of Wakanda, an African nation that
is unparalleled in technological advancements, but disguises itself as a developing country to evade
outsiders attention. The secret to wakanda s incredible technology, as well as T Challa s Black Panther
super powers, is an element called vibranium. The use of this element is the center of the film s
conflict do Wakandans provide aid to struggling countries by sharing their vibranium, or keep it
protected for their own citizens? The ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A review on the alt right website Breitbart went so far as to declare that Black Panther was a pro
Trump, anti Black Lives Matter commentary. I found the opposite to be true, as I can only assume
anyone who actually paid attention to the film would. Boseman himself has said that T Challa more
closely resembles a villain at the beginning of Black Panther, and it is worth noting that the character s
eventual saviors are his own past acts of generosity and mercy. On the other hand, Killmonger is a
sympathetic villain (especially for a superhero flick) with understandable motivation; while his
methods are cause for alarm, the pain and experience behind his worldview is conveyed as quite valid.
Between its politics and the sheer fact that it is the first film of its kind to feature a nearly all POC
cast, there is no disguising Black Panther as anything but

John Kravitz Research Paper
Boom!☺(Onomatopoeia) A bomb goes off near Oliver Stone next to the White House. People are
running for their lives as Oliver lays on the ground unconscious. The next thing he remembers is
waking up in the hospital next to FBI agents. Oliver is now on a journey to figure out who planted this
bomb, and why they would do this so close to the president. British M1 6 agent Mary Chapman helps
Stone try to solve this horrific crime. In this journal I will be questioning the race of the terrorist
group, evaluating the attack on John Kravitz, and predicting what will happen to Stone while he is in
Russia.
First, I will be questioning whether the terrorist group is Russian or Arabic. One witness of the
explosion said that the people near the bomb were talking funny. This could be either Russian or
Arabic because both of those countries have accents when ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The cops believed that John had something to do with the bombing, because he was at the site of the
bomb before it was detonated. The bomb was planted inside of a hole where a tree was being planted.
The police thought John was a suspect because he was the one planting the tree for the company the
day of the attack. Because John was the suspect, the police went to his house to talk to him and see if
he was guilty of these crimes. John was coerced by the sheriff to step outside and talk to them, but
right as he walked outside he was shot. Somebody in the woods fired a high caliber round through
John s chest instantly killing him. Stone states: Well, I guess we know now that kravitz was part of the
bombing plot (Baldacci 195). This shows that John was shot so that he wouldn t tell the cops
information about the bombing. Whether he was forced into planting the bomb, or if the bomb was his
idea. This prevented the police from finding out crucial information on the bombing. Overall, this was
a good play on the enemies part in keeping there identities

Styles Of Parenting Styles
Basically all the traits that would would be expected a child to have based on each caregivers
parenting style if very different. Every child is different a way of parenting style may or may not affect
you in the future. For, example Ben Carson raised by single parent with little to no money. Ben Carson
grew with a mind for violence such as almost killing some loved ones of his. However, today Ben
Carson is a retired neurosurgeon. This just show that not every child living in poverty and being
influenced by violence is most likely to not succeed and continue that path as a child. Children that
grew up with parents with an Authoritarian style of parenting often had poor social skills, lower self
esteem, and basically always concerned of their actions because they are afraid of the consequences.
Children with Permissive parents know that they will always have it there way. Children that grew up
in this way of parenting tend to me immature, and often escape responsibilities. Children with
Authoritative parents tend be better off than the other children who s parents style of parenting was
either authoritarian or permissive. These children turn out to be the happiest, most successful and
basically a more cooperative friendly child. B) I do not believe these traits apply to me. Even though I
was raised by an authoritarian mother and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

they had their reasons. I think my sisters did get impacted by this because none of them continued any

Essay Princess Diana
One year ago, the death of a princess brought an entire world to tears. The wounds are slowly healing
and the grief is less painful. What remains are the lessons that can be learned from a phenomenon that
few can entirely forget. At the time it was a mystery. A divorced member of the royal family of a
medium sized European nation dies in a banal car accident in Paris, and for a week the sun, moon and
stars are knocked off their appointed tracks. Within days, Europe suffers a shortage of cut flowers as
tens of thousands of bouquets are laid before the house of the victim. Demand for newsprint soars; the
funeral, watched live on television throughout the world, attracts an audience of 1 billion.

might have felt the same way from his lyrics showing his fellow gangsters and rap friends how that he

upper class young people in our society and exposed them to the fragment of America culture that

  • 2. American Declaration Of Independence Analysis Introduction Like most momentous declaration documents in the history of governments, the American Declarations of Independence is a document that represents a specific historical era. The universal human right concept occupies over 20% of the document while the rest of document details the alleged atrocities that the colonial government had committed. The list of the grievances is long. This paper looks at the most critical points in the declaration and those that the writer does not think as very important. The Most Critical Grievances The idea that King of England was the only person responsible with appointing judges and imposing them on the colonist was very contentious. King George would appoint and send judges from London. This did not go down well the colonists in America. The concept of administration of justice is a very volatile subject and has the capacity to affect a wide range of people ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... King George dissolution of the Representative Houses repeatedly due to their opposition to invasions of people rights was vigorously opposed. Representative Houses would be viewed by the colonist as advancing their agenda in the legislations they debate and pass. The mandate of these houses is to debate pass all legislations that impact positively on the people. All those legislation that infringe on the rights of the people should be rejected. • 3. The Characteristics Of Classism In The Classical Period The Classical period, sometimes called the Hellenic period, began in the 5th and 4th centuries BC. During the Classical period, Greece succeeded its maximum level of success both culturally and economically. The ancient Greeks strode to perfect both the body and mind. Classism has caused a significant amount of changes in the art world which allowed them to express themselves through their art spiritually. Classism s qualities still are featured throughout the artworks that are being made today. Some of this movement s features would include how most of the sculptures that are done are idealized. Idealism is when someone is painted, or sculpted with the ideal body and face. Realism is another feature in Classical Art. Realism is seeking truth through the artwork, they could no longer achieve the look they were going for by just chiseling away at a block of stone. Therefore, they based they techniques on modelling, by building first out of clay on new models and then they would copy them into stone. One of the last main features in this movement would be how mathematically correct everything is. Artists in these eras were very conscious about correct proportions, measurements, and symmetry. That is how those artists made it possible to create such perfect and idealized masterpieces. A sculptural example of Classical Art is The Spear Bearer . This entailed careful observation of a model as well as understanding of the mechanics of anatomy of how a body shifts from a pose, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. How Did The League Of Nations A Success The League of Nations was supposed to be an international organization that would help solve disputes between the different countries to avoid future wars and bring lasting peace. It was endorsed on January 10th, 1920 with its headquarters located in Geneva, Switzerland. The League was created and introduced by President Woodrow Wilson of the United States of America along with his Fourteen Points, a plan listing terms which he believed must be comprised in the Peace Treaty of Versailles which would bring an end to World War I. Many nations were members of the League, and it did help resolve certain issues, but unfortunately, there were quite as many failures as there were triumphs. Eventually though, the League failed and led to World War II, only to be replaced by the United Nations in 1946. The League of Nations, meant to be a strong power and keep peace with all nations who were members, was only a weak and virtually power less organization. President Woodrow Wilson created the League of Nations and used his immense influence to attempt to achieve its success. He believed that it would guarantee lasting world peace and resolve any disputes between nations. President Clemenceau of France and Prime Minister Loyd George of Great Britain, while highly doubting that the League would succeed, supported it in order that Wilson would support their plan of revenge on Germany. The Enigma Of Capital And The Crisis Of Capitalism A Critical Review of David Harvey s The Enigma of Capital and the Crisis of Capitalism Sudheer Vemuru Economics 490 10 November, 2014 In writing this paper, I have abided by the Honor Code at UNC Chapel Hill. Signature:____________________ ______________________ The Enigma of Capital and the Crisis of Capitalism is a forum for author David Harvey to voice his concerns on the contemporary global capitalist model. As a Marxist geographer and anthropologist, Harvey analyzes modern capitalism through a lens of skepticism that results in a scathing renunciation of the capitalist goals of perpetual accumulation and creative destruction. Harvey argues that in a world constrained by scarce resources and burgeoning social barriers, the capitalist process produces a strange dynamic that oscillates between periods of crisis and boom (40). In the end the capitalist may be able to hedge against her losses, but the vast majority of the population will wallow in the doldrums, enslaved by the power of capital and unable to pull themselves up by their bootstraps. Such is the extent of the problem we face in the wake of the Great Recession. The economy continues to grow modestly, while median household income shrinks (Noss 2). The capitalists are reloading once again at the expense of Main Street. As Harvey points out, there is a great need to reevaluate of our views of modern capitalism. The Enigma of Capital is just a starting point. Harvey begins his analysis of capitalism with a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Some of the material would be hard for a younger minor to understand. Adolescents and teens would find it more captivating as they can relate to experiences and thoughts of the main character. Adults could be interested in this story with the fantasy twist, but would not really understand as a younger audience would. I very much enjoyed reading it. The characters were concrete. • 15. Importance Of Descartes On Physiology Hitherto, I have explained some elements concerning Descartes and vitalistic theories about physiology. On the one hand, I have highlighted that Descartes approach to physiology is founded on his mechanical conception of nature, which allows him to use the laws of nature in order to explain the particular functioning of the human body. In general, Descartes argues that God creates matter in a uniform way and he separates it, creating individual bodies, through the introduction of motion in the system. Accordingly, Descartes conception of matter denies the very possibility of the existence of certain individual properties of matter, on the assumption that every matter particle has been created in the same way and is affected by the same laws. Thus, Descartes explains that the laws of nature have a broad scope, and their universal application is based on the metaphysical conception of the regularity ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... For instance, in his World, Descartes explains that heat and light are explicable in terms of the motion of the particles which constitute the flame or the Sun the luminescent bodies of nature. Clearly, this mechanical explanation contradicts the vitalist conception of the qualities of the bodies which make them flammable. In vitalistic terms, the capacity of burning a body has is explained because of a quality in it which makes it flammable: a heat quality or a light quality explains the presence of this visible effects in bodies like the Sun or a flame. This is a problem because although I am prepared with the knowledge for an exam, it still affects my judgement when writing my answers and thus causes an impact on my grades. A study by Rebecca Stephens (1992), Imagery: A Treatment for Nursing Student Anxiety , explained imagery methods that were proven effective among nursing students experiencing similar anxiety. Nursing students are subjected to midterms and exams as are students in other programs, and although the material is different it is the fear before writing a test that causes the anxiety. John Dewey promotes his belief that these kinds of active learning experiences are crucial for the mental growth of a child. Dewey suggests experiences such as taking children outside to explore nature and geography, and starting school gardens so children can learn about agriculture. Nonetheless, One of John Dewey s main objections to the traditional model of education involves its focus on curriculum over the individual student. John Dewey believed that the student should participate in their own learning, and that the student own motivation was a large factor in the amount the student would learn in school. Therefore, Dewey argued, the educational process should be tailored to the individual student in order to maximize the student s motivation to learn. One method of achieving this is to relate the curriculum to a subject of individual interest for the student. Another issue raised by John Dewey was the school s role not just as a place for students to gain academic knowledge, but as a place where for the learning of life skills and social behavior. Dewey thought that such general life skills and practical learning were just as important as the academic curriculum being taught. Telemachus presence is also felt. Tennyson here follows the tradition of allowing one person to speak and keeping others silent. In My Last Duchess we see the same thing. As the poem progresses, it becomes clear that only a single person speaks. The speaker is the Duke of Ferrara who is talking about his dead Duchess portrait painted by Fra Pandolf. At several points of the poem it becomes evident that there is a listener who remains silent. For example, when the duke says Will t please you sit and look at her? or Will t you please rise? we understand that someone is present around him. Later in the poem, we come to know that he is an emissary for the second marriage of the Duke. Throughout the poem he does not talk. But his reactions are revealed through the Duke s speech. For example, the clue to understand the surprise in the emissary s face has been revealed by the Duke himself : so not the first/ Are you to turn and ask thus. We know he does not ask anything but there has been a question in his countenance. Tennyson reveals his heart s desire in Ulysses . This is another aspect of dramatic monologue. He says he does not enjoy peaceful life at home, and so, he wants to set out for new adventures. His inner thoughts have been revealed. However, the revelation is very simple and plain. Cerebral Vascular Disease Cerebral vascular disease These are atherosclerotic changes in cerebral blood vessels or the formation of an embolus elsewhere in the vasculature that then lodges in a cerebral blood vessel which can lead to transient ischemic attacks and strokes. The following are symptoms of cerebro vascular disease: dizziness, decreased vision, slurred speech and weakness (Smeltzer Bare 1996:1054). Proliferative retinopathy is the severe form and the capillaries become occluded, and new blood vessels are formed to supply the retina with blood. It is caused by damage to the sensitive blood vessels in the eyes. Retinopathy can be worsened by severe hypertension because of the additional stress it places on the blood vessels. • 23. Rhetorical Analysis Of David Leonhardt s Deporting... A Rhetorical Analysis of David Leonhardt s Deporting Dreamers 2017 The job of a writer is never done. New information is always being thrown at writers such as David Leonhardt, begging to be judged and characterized, not as good nor bad, but worthy of reading. Immigration is ingrained in our society as Americans, that s how America was born. In this article, David Leonhardt assesses the ins and outs of illegal immigration, while simultaneously stating his opinion on the matter. In this article, Leonhardt argues about the severity and use of prosecutorial discretion on laws of immigration and how it affects the American people. The author s credibility is established before, throughout, and at the end of the article by giving sources from media news, such as CNN and other publications from the New York Times. The problem with CNN being a media news source is that information isn t always proven true and is often opinionated. On , Karen Douglas, Business Insider, 2017 , from a poll taken of 3000 random participants, CNN was considered more or less distrustworthy. This poll supports the statistical evidence that declares CNN s information 47% untrue or false on (CNN File PunditFact 2017) . If David uses CNN for statistical reports to support his left sided point of view, how can we know if what he says is even true? We can t. However, the author uses emotional reasoning and empathy to sway the reader into understanding and accepting his point of view, even if the view is not 100% true. In the first paragraph, the author presents the reader with multiple quotes from the Former White House Press Secretary, Sean Spicer. Spicer argues about the subject of prosecutorial discretion against Dreamer and uses Felony Tax Evasion to explain the absurdity of selectively choosing when to uphold laws. The author does include a solution from Sean Spicer s quote, saying They should petition our lawmakers and the government will change it (Spicer Paragraph three). This quote doesn t support the author s point of view and leaves the reader confused. The author then proceeds to imply that the President is, Taking to the Extreme when it comes to upholding the law. The author switches tones in the next paragraph to more of ... • 24. A Raisin in the Sun Though there was a heightened sense of tension over civil rights in the late 1950s when A Raisin in the Sun was written, racial inequality is still a problem today. It affects minorities of every age and dynamic, in more ways than one. Though nowadays it may go unnoticed, race in every aspect alters the way African Americans think, behave, and react as human beings. This is shown in many ways in the play as we watch the characters interact. We see big ideas, failures, and family values through the eyes of a disadvantaged group during an unfortunate time in history. His personal dignity is at stake repeatedly throughout the story when he finds himself battling against a troubled family and a corrupt system. The three women in the story, Beneatha, Ruth, and Mama, represent the different views Black women took during these troublesome times. There were women like Beneatha, who didn t want to live the typical life of a wife and mother, and openly disapproved the assimilation of Blacks into American culture as well: Because I hate assimilationist Negroes! (Hansberry 1500). She wanted to become highly educated, and to change the world somehow. She wanted to be something. Beneatha is a very strong willed, hard headed character. • 25. Automation and Intelligence Have Changed Agriculture Agricultural production has increased manifold due to the advent of automation and intelligence in various stages of a crop s life cycle. Introduction of such processes has led to a significant increase in the output and reduction in the costs incurred in manual labour and other farm equipment. A scheme where machine vision is implemented can be used to perceive the position of a fruit for harvesting. This technology has been used to develop both land and aerial based systems for fruit detection and harvesting. Machine vision in harvesting is broadly based on visual cues and properties of fruit. Machine vision based systems have an advantage as apart from recognition of colour, texture and shape of any object, numerical points for the object are also defined. The aim of fruit detection is characterized by the following desirable outcomes: 1. Detection of each distinct fruit. 2. Discrimination of the detected fruit from the other parts of the foliage. 3. Localisation of the fruit. Since its implementation to crop harvesting and other agricultural practices, a lot of attention has been given to development in machine vision systems to achieve the abovementioned outcomes. But, all of it has been limited to the field of research with very little commercial outlook. Though, research outcomes may look bleak, it is a well accepted fact that to achieve very good incidences of fruit detection a robust machine vision system is essential. Question1 Carlos Carrera s 2002 motion picture The Crime of Father Amaro and José Maria De Eça de Queirós book The Relic both discuss topics related to religion and to the hypocrisy that some individuals need to adopt in order to be provided with social acceptance. Society in general is displayed as an environment where people need to employ false attitudes in order for them to appear worthy of their peers respect. Religion is seemingly one of the most important values in both works and it is because of particular individuals exaggerated piousness that some of the characters end up wanting to pose into something that they are not. Father Amaro is initially shown as an enthusiastic young priest that is determined to make a change in the small town of Los Reyes. While he appears to be devoted to his cause, it is gradually revealed that he is as vulnerable to committing sins as any individual, given that he uses the Church as a tool to appear more religious. Father Benito is very similar to Father Amaro when considering his tendency to seem dedicated at helping the world while he is actually cooperating with drug lords. Teodorico, the protagonist in The Relic is an amusing individual and it appears that the writer intended to portray him in a way meant to emphasize the hypocrisy present in a great deal of Catholics. Boseman himself has said that T Challa more closely resembles a villain at the beginning of Black Panther, and it is worth noting that the character s eventual saviors are his own past acts of generosity and mercy. On the other hand, Killmonger is a sympathetic villain (especially for a superhero flick) with understandable motivation; while his methods are cause for alarm, the pain and experience behind his worldview is conveyed as quite valid.
