In these two dvd covers there are a few similarities to show that they are both part of
the same genre, for example the title of the show is always in big letters, so that first
thing in the audience look at is the name and this also reminds them what show they
are watching. Another similarity would be the light behind the characters, this makes
the characters stand out more and it also makes them look more important as the light
is shining behind them to make them more powerful. There are three characters in
both covers and this conveys that a lot of children’s TV drama’s have more than one
main character, and if you notice there more than one genre as the main character and
it varies as to how many there are, another thing about the two dvd covers is equality of
the genre, for example the first cover there is a female in the middle but on the second
cover the male is in the middle and this is representing both genders equally.
Both od the DVD covers have dark colours, the first dvd cover is not as dark as the
second one but it’s still dark blue and that’s a dark colour and the second one is a dark
green and black and this is conveying the mystery of both shows.
Also the last similarity of both these dvd covers would be the colour of the title, both of
the titles are white which makes it stand out more and like I previously said it’s the first
thing the audience will look at.
In these two dvd covers there are a couple of similarities such as the characters, all of the
main characters are on the magazine cover for example on the right magazine the main
characters are in the middle to sh0w that they are all important and the same happens
on the magazine on the magazine on the right.
Another similarity would be the name of the series they are both written in bald and it
stands out, and I think that what the editor of the magazine wanted to do as the main
feature of both magazines.
Another similarity on both magazines would be the dark colours in the background
which are very dark colours and very common for shows like spy shows and adventure
shows as if it was bright colours it wouldn’t really go with the theme of the show. At the
bottom of both magazines there is a promotional banner to attract the target audience.
Both of the magazines have sub-headings under the headline to make it more interesting
and more information for the target audience.
Another similarity would be the secondary picture at the bottom of the magazines which
attracts the audience as its more than one article and so that they know they have more
than one thing to read an also they make it similar to the main article to attract them as
its similar.

In these two dvd covers there are a few similarities to show that they are both part of the same genre, for example the title of the show is always in big letters, so that first thing in the audience look at is the name and this also reminds them what show they are watching. Another similarity would be the light behind the characters, this makes the characters stand out more and it also makes them look more important as the light is shining behind them to make them more powerful. There are three characters in both covers and this conveys that a lot of children’s TV drama’s have more than one main character, and if you notice there more than one genre as the main character and it varies as to how many there are, another thing about the two dvd covers is equality of the genre, for example the first cover there is a female in the middle but on the second cover the male is in the middle and this is representing both genders equally. Both od the DVD covers have dark colours, the first dvd cover is not as dark as the second one but it’s still dark blue and that’s a dark colour and the second one is a dark green and black and this is conveying the mystery of both shows. Also the last similarity of both these dvd covers would be the colour of the title, both of the titles are white which makes it stand out more and like I previously said it’s the first thing the audience will look at.

In these two dvd covers there are a couple of similarities such as the characters, all of the main characters are on the magazine cover for example on the right magazine the main characters are in the middle to sh0w that they are all important and the same happens on the magazine on the magazine on the right. Another similarity would be the name of the series they are both written in bald and it stands out, and I think that what the editor of the magazine wanted to do as the main feature of both magazines. Another similarity on both magazines would be the dark colours in the background which are very dark colours and very common for shows like spy shows and adventure shows as if it was bright colours it wouldn’t really go with the theme of the show. At the bottom of both magazines there is a promotional banner to attract the target audience. Both of the magazines have sub-headings under the headline to make it more interesting and more information for the target audience. Another similarity would be the secondary picture at the bottom of the magazines which attracts the audience as its more than one article and so that they know they have more than one thing to read an also they make it similar to the main article to attract them as its similar.
