GUILDELINES FOR SHARING
3 MAIN CAUSES OF GRIEF
1. Loss of Connection: Loved ones,
family, friends, community
3. Cash: Financial security, prosperity,
freedom
2. Loss of Contribution: Career,
meaning, self-esteem, life purpose
MYTHS THAT PROLONG
HEARTBREAK/GRIEF
1. “It just takes time”
2. “Replace the loss”
3. “I don’t need support”
4. “It’s my fault”
5. “I need a therapist”
Event + Reaction = Outcome
Event + Victim Story = Misery
Gratitude = Love
CHOICE
We may not be able to choose
the events that occur, but we
CAN choose the reaction.
Pain Is Inevitable. Suffering is a Choice
“POWER vs FORCE”
by Dr. David Hawkins
LADDER OF CONSCIOUNESS
• Developed a “map” of the levels of human consciousness
that uses a muscle-testing technique called Applied
Kinesiology (AK) to document the nonlinear, spiritual
realm.
• This research was scientifically-validated and published in
his doctorate dissertation titled Qualitative
and Quantitative Analysis and Calibrations of the Level of
Human Consciousness.
• The numbers on the scale represent logarithmic calibrations
of the levels of human consciousness and its corresponding
level of reality.
Pain comes from
resisting what is.
Peace comes from
embracing what is.
If you resist
change you will be
here forever
4 Steps in
Helping
Yourself Heal
1) Express
• Express your feelings &
release them. It’s the recipe
for transcending more quickly.
IF YOU CAN’T FEEL IT, YOU CAN’T HEAL IT
• Unrepressed feelings are like not dealing with your taxes. It
doesn’t go away & the consequences and penalties just get worse.
• Is the painful thought
about the past, present or
future?
2) Forgive
• See the whole truth and
all the possibilities.
• Take responsibility that you
CAN make things better for
yourself
• Forgive everybody
(including yourself) for
everything right now.
• Realize that in order for you
to win, someone else
doesn’t have to lose.
• Acknowledge that the other person was doing the best that they
could do under the specific circumstances that they were in.
3) Appreciate & Accept
• Accept & Appreciate
what has happened as
if you have chosen it.
• Realize the gift and opportunity
in whatever happened. Thank
the other person for giving you
an experience that helped you
grow.
• Ask yourself:
1. If you could do it all over again would you still do it?
2. Given the answer would you want to know that it
would have ended the way it did?
So many of us hold on to things that have
happened to us in the past and we allow it to
become our story without realizing we have the
power to create a new story- whatever story we
desire. Let go of the past.
4) Live & Love
• Live for today
• When you do this you are releasing victim energy &
bringing yourself into the present moment.
• Give up the hope for a different or better yesterday
• Choose Peace
1) What are you enthusiastic about now?
2) What action(s) are you excited about taking?
• Focus on Love
What IF Happiness Was Under
Your Own Control?
40% of our happiness in our immediate
voluntary control
50% of our happiness is genetic or
habitual. This can shift depending on
how you change or choose your habits
10% of our happiness is due to our life
or external circumstances
80 – 20 Rule
20% of your activities are generating 80% of your cash
& income.
20% of your activities are generating 80% of your
meaningful connection & deepening relationships.
20% of your activities are generating 80% of your
contribution & achievement of your life’s purpose
20% of your activities are generating 80% of your
aggravation & stress
20% of your activities are sabotaging 80% of your
success
What action can you take in the next 30 days to stop tolerating the
aggravation, stress & stop limiting your success?
Forgiveness is letting
go of the hope for a
different or better
outcome
Loving yourself is the
greatest way to
improve yourself & as
you improve yourself,
you improve your
world.

HAWAIIAN HO’OPONOPONO
HEALING PRAYER
I love you
I’m sorry
Please forgive me
I forgive myself
Thank you
Ho’oponopono (“to make right”) is a healing process used by
ancient Hawaiians of the past and those that practice Huna
(“empowerment”) today to align with and clean up our genealogy
as well as to clean up our relationships with other people in our
lives. When we forgive others we are forgiving ourselves.

Editor's Notes

  • #4 Why is this class important? Because most people would agree that death and divorce are causes of grief but there are others. Because on average it takes 5-8 years to get over a major loss but with the right tools it can be matter of months
  • #5 WHAT PEOPLE HAVE BEEN TELLING YU HAS BEEN A MYTH 5-8 years to get over a major loss but with the right tools and a coach can help you with that, it can be matter of months. By believing that myth we can injure ourselves because if we try to stuff another person into our broken heart we just then compound the problem. So the solution is to heal your heart & not get another person. Choosing to be alone will probably take longer to heal. This pattern of blaming yourself is what keeps you stuck. Grief is a normal & natural reaction to loss. It’s not mental illness.
  • #6 Tell story of Alex.
  • #7 How many of you here believe that there is energy behind an emotion? Dr. Hawkins has done scientific research which validates just that. He has calibrated the energy level to each emotion
  • #8 ** ** 78% of the human race calibrates below the critical level of 200. ** The overall average level of human consciousness stands at 207. ** Any meaningful human satisfaction cannot even commence until the level of 250 where some degree of self confidence begins to emerge. ** The power of the few individuals at the top counterbalances the weakness of the masses. ** 1 individual at level 400 counterbalances 400,000 individuals below level 200 ** 1 individual at level 500 counterbalances 750,000 individuals below level 200
  • #11 How do you react when you believe (painful thought)? When & where did that thought 1st occur to you? Does this bring peace or stress to your life? Imagine it’s no longer possible for you to feel this way. How would you be? Past is a history, future is a mystery and this moment is a gift. That’s why it’s called the present. Your power is in the present.
  • #13 1) What is there to appreciate about that (thought/situation)? 2) Can you accept that? Can you be at peace with that? 3) What’s the opposite? How could that be true? 4) Consider the Contrary. Find 3 examples. (What resonate most? How does that feel?) 5) What rings more true…the contrary or the original feeling? 6) Which choice do you choose to be more true?
  • #16 LET’S TALK ABOUT HAPPINESS What do you think of that statistic?
  • #20 Huna is about empowerment, about increasing your spirituality, energy and metaphysical healing powers. Have you ever wanted to improve your relationship with others, heal your past or make all the wrongs, right?
