Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) is an important part of the NSW primary school curriculum that focuses on developing students' communication, decision-making, interaction, movement, and problem-solving skills. It also concentrates on eight key strands like interpersonal relationships, growth and development, games and sports, gymnastics, dance, active lifestyle, personal health choices, and safe living. PDHPE is important because it promotes academic learning and understanding of self and others, while developing skills like communication, teamwork, and decision-making that enable students to make healthy lifestyle choices and be productive citizens.
