PDHPE (Personal Development, Health and Physical Education) aims to develop knowledge, understanding, skills, values and attitudes to lead healthy, active and fulfilling lives. It covers topics like growth and development, safe living, personal health choices, and interpersonal relationships. Students are introduced to sports, fitness, dance and active lifestyles through PE. Critical skills like problem solving, communication, decision-making, interaction and moving are applicable to school and life. The holistic nature of PDHPE incorporates physical, mental and emotional development and provides tools to manage this, teaching every student what they need to live happily and healthily.
