- NSW Department of Education
By participating in PDHPE in our classroom the students gain

to grow and develop healthy bodies.
Students learn:
o Movement skills
o Communication and Interacting skills
o Decision making and Problem Solving skills
o Personal health choices
PE promotes physical skills, body development, knowedlge
of gross and fine motor skills and aesthetic sensitivity.
PDHPE provides opportunities for students to express their
creativity, be collaborative and sociable and with fellow peers
and to face challenges as individuals, pairs or teams.
PDHPE also focuses on the students development of
essential skills for life long learning, creating positive
attitudes and values towards peers and learning.
PD encourages students to create their own personal health
choices, whilst guiding them in the right direction. Focusing
on healthy food choices, their bodies and preparing them for
life.
So, PDHPE is important, just ask
any student!
I’m sure they can tell you all
about it!
