THE GRAIN GROUP Include (Bread, Cereal, Rice and Pasta group) 6 Servings for children every day Provide: Energy, work well, good health and digestion, grow and be strong. Food: Wheat, rolls, tortillas, bagels, pancakes
2. VEGETABLE GROUP Vegetable from leaves, stems, roots, flowers, seeds 3 Servings for children every day Provide: Energy, good health and digestion,  body working well. Food: Tomato, carrot, potato, cabbage, broccoli, peas, greens beans, celery, peppers
3. FRUIT GROUP Fruit from flowers of different plants.  2 Servings for children every day Provide: Energy, good health and digestion, body work well. Food: Apple, bananas, citrus (orange, lemon, grapefruit), peaches, pears, melons, grapes.
4. DAIRY GROUP Include milk, yogurt and cheeses group. 2 Servings for children every day Provide: Calcium to strong, bones, strong teeth, good growth.
5. PROTEIN GROUP Include (Meat, poultry, fish, eggs) 2 Servings for children every day Provide: good growth, strong muscles and bones. Food: Meat, eggs, dry beans, nuts, peanut butter group.
