    baked beans all
    washed down with
    a cup of coffee.

    meal and is not
    cooked; for example,
    a bread roll or
    croissant with
    cheese or ham and a
    cup of coffee. The
    most common drinks
at this time of day are
    orange juice or a cup
    of breakfast tea.
Brunch
 The meal usually involves
    standard breakfast foods such
    as eggs, sausages, bacon,
    pastries, pancakes, and the
    like
 However, it can include almost
any other type of food served
    throughout the day: meat or
    poultry, seafood, smoked fish,
salads, soups or desserts of all
    types.
 Often, however, the term
    brunch is headed more
    towards breakfast than lunch.
Lunch

 Children at school and adults at work will
have a 'packed lunch'. This typically
consists of a sandwich, a packet of crisps,
a piece of fruit and a drink. The 'packed

    eaten in the early evening
    (for example, 6 o'clock)
served with a pot of tea; this
    is popular in north England
    and Scotland.
Dinner
 A typical British meal for dinner is "meat
and two veg". We put hot brown gravy,
(traditionally made from the juices of the
roast meat, but more often today from a
packet!) on the meat and usually the
vegetables. One of the vegetables is
