VERIFICATION
FEMUR SETUP
NOTE: Verification possibilities: femur first, tibia first, femur only, tibia only.
• Position the cutting block in the required position using standard (intramedullary)
instrumentation. Do not use more pins than required for preliminary fixation.
• Place the cutting block adapter in the saw blade slot, with the reflective marker
spheres facing the camera.

FEMORAL REGISTRATION
Perform femur registration by acquiring:
Femoral head center
Femoral mechanical axis
• Rotational references
•

NOTE: Pressing the Clip-On Remote Control for a long time repeats entire
registration.
ALIGNMENT VERIFICATION FEMUR
• Check the displayed information and if required, adjust the femoral cutting
block’s position and/or orientation.
• Repeat registration.

RESECTION HEIGHT MEASUREMENT FEMUR
• Place the pointer on the distal condyles to measure the distance to the cutting
slot as an indicator for the resection height.

Malleolar points
Tibial mechanical axis

• Check the displayed information and if required, adjust the tibial cutting block’s
position and/or orientation.
• Repeat registration.

RESECTION HEIGHT MEASUREMENT TIBIA
• Use the pointer to measure the distance from the tibial resection plane to the
cutting slot as an indicator for the resection height.
