Solid Works and Autodesk Inventor.
EXPERIENCE
AVIATION INTERIOR CAD DRAFTER
Takata Interiors in Flight April 2015 - Present
Design and convert parametric 3D models to 2D drawings with Autodesk Inventor to draft section cuts
and details of private jet seat cushions, including accurate labeling of parts and materials.
• Utilize high level of CAD and problem solving skills to create parametric models.
• Design new models, evaluate existing design solutions and optimize models in 3D.
• Integrate interior design sketches and models of private jet liners and aircraft seat cushions with
Autodesk Inventor.
• Export 3D models to 2D drawings with accurate technical data for production needs and
requirements, resulting in functional seat cushions that meet strict FAA government and
international safety standards, codes and guidelines.
• Ensure completed design and drawings meet production specifications and deadlines.
MATERIALS SPECIALIST
Takata Interiors in Flight November 2014 – April 2015
Developed the workflows and processes of the newly established materials department that oversees and
maintains all aircraft approved parts, bonded materials and raw materials, along with all stock room
supplies. Managed all inventory and tracking of parts against work/purchase orders.
• Assisted shipping and receiving with labeling, inspection for any shortages and quality of raw
materials, parts, and aircraft and non-aircraft stock items received for distribution to the
technicians.
• Conducted a daily inventory and maintained sign-out logs for all raw materials, stock room
supplies, parts and keys for shelf life items located throughout the facility.
AVIATION UPHOLSTERY/MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN
Takata Interiors in Flight July - November 2014
• Read prints to construct test cushions and basic sheet metal supports. Fabricated and shaped
foam designs and complex kydex/metal parts.
• Covered panels using leather, fabric and vinyl, and installed dress covers for arms, shrouds,
legrests, backrests, bottom cushions and headrests. Assembled foam blocks with accurate
dimensions. Glued foam blocks, shapes and complex foam designs.
• Helped create and structure a new department that was responsible for disassembling the seat
frames, data management and identification of individual parts.
• Developed and created technical manuals that showed the assembly and disassembly process,
thereby decreasing production time and mechanical errors and damages that may have occurred
without it.
• Trained team members on how to create manuals and assisted the production team to assemble
seat components when needed.

and aluminum), cutting (wood, foam, plastic and metal), upholstering and equipment set-up,
along with product experiments and new designs that were derived from AutoCAD for the
creation of new products.
• Used AutoCAD drawings as templates to cut new designs for tables and components.
• Managed weekly inventory of all materials and stock components and parts.
• Prepared and cleaned steel frames after welding through wire brushing and grinding methods
and transported them to the paint shop to be powder coated.
PHOTOGRAPHER
Life Touch Studios 2008-2009
Posed and photographed students and staff: Kindergarten through 12th graders, prom & dance, sporting
