The digipak for the album "Guts Over Fear" uses the color red throughout to represent emotions like anger, passion and fear related to the song's meaning. An image on the front cover is intended to convey the artist's vulnerability. Inside, a continuous image from the music video ties the album and video together, while the CD and back cover use the same colors for readability and brand consistency across products. Text on the side panels includes song lyrics and a message from the artist, following conventions from other artists' digipaks.

1. The final flatplan is similar to the initial one we did.
Throughout the digipak the colour red is used. This colour represents anger , passion and
fear which is heavily present in the meaning of “Guts Over Fear”. This colour will also be
present in all three of our products therefore establishing a brand image.
The front cover will feature an image of the artist in a high angled shot and will be on the
right side of the frame, with his back turned away from the camera. This is done to show the
artists vulnerability and gives the audience the sense of what this song and album intentions
are. The font chosen for the album title is similar to ones used on other rappers digipaks and
websites such as Eminem, therefore it coheres to the rap genre.
Inside the digipak there will be one continuous image that runs throughout. The image will be
a location from the music video therefore the products will tie in with each other, this has
been inspired by one of Rihannas albums.
The CDs colours are black , white and red which makes the CD stand out from the digipak. I
did this instead of having the image running across the CD as you wouldn’t of been able to
read the text clearly on it .Instead the image will go behind the CD and when it is taken out it,
the continuous image will be revealed . I used the same colours that are on the CD on the
back cover of the album to also make the track list stand out and become readable . The
colours used will also be used across all three products enhancing the brand image.
Two of the side panels will have text present . One will have the lyrics from the song on them
and another is a message from the artist . I have done this as from my digipak many artists
such as Eminem have included text like this .
